Location the New Earth: Star City, Arrow Cave
A couple of days later, all of Oliver Queen aka the Green Arrow's, most dear people...teammates, protégés, and love ones, were gathered in the secret Arrow Cave.
Said Arrow Cave, is state of the art, with a lot of tech, glass cases with each of Team Arrow's personal costume and gear behind the display, a wall filled with weapons, and many training gear around the round room, with the communication center and network at the center.
Thea wasn't in her Speedy costume, but she was still a beauty, a short black haired, young woman in a dark red, opened jacket, black shirt underneath, black leathered pants, and heeled boots, beside her was Roy Harper aka Arsenal.
He is the original Speedy, before a incident, resulted in his capture and lost of one of his arms, he was rescued and became the young superhero, and member of Young Justice, alongside his clone...and brother, Will Harper.
They'd looked exactly alike, with the exception that Roy is still a teenager from his time in ice...literally, and Will a grown young man, both have a great physique, red hair only Roy has it short buzz cut, while Will has his hair, in a longer style, both having blue eyes.
Roy was dresses in a long red jacket, with studs, wearing gloves so he can cover up, his cybernetic arm, a light red long shirt underneath his jacket, and a pair of jeans, while Roy relationship with Oliver, has become a bit stained, they were rekindling their relationship, Oliver...he was like a father to him.
Will felt the same as him, dressed in a red and black short-sleeved shirt, a red cap on his head, and grey colored jeans, despite Will's situation, he was grateful to Oliver, his friends, and wife...Cheshire, he managed to craw out a dark place.
Now Oliver is dead, killed in action, trying to save as many lives during the Hawaii incident.
Aside these three, Artemis Crook, she is a blonde haired young woman, in a brown open jacket, a faded blue shirt, leather brown belt, and jeans, she was the latest protégé of Green Arrow, he accepted her despite her background, the daughter of the infamous Sportmaster, who refused to follow her parents path, and became a hero, she was fighting the tears, Wally wanted to accompanied her in this meeting, but she'd refused.
Wanting to be with her fellow Arrow-family members, Wally understood, and they'd tried to speak but sorrow and despair was overwhelming them, another close member of the team is Felicity Smoak, also known as Overwatch, the tech support, and glowing heart of this family, she is a blonde woman, with semi-long hair, wearing glasses, stripped short-sleeved green and dark green comfy shirt, with stud at the edge, a black skirt and heels.
She was openly crying, she even brought some drink for her friends, and if not for John, a muscular black man, Oliver's brother regardless not sharing blood, he prevent Felicity to drown herself, desperately trying to keep himself together, even if he too was suffering like her, and everyone there.
His full name is John Diggle, also he is Spartan a vigilante in Star City, second-in-command of Team Arrow, and when Oliver was saving the world, he steps up and lead the defense of the city.
He is black haired, styled in a low-fade, wearing a black and green long-sleeved jacket, black pants and boots, beside John is another member of the team, and a dear friend, Rene Ramirez aka Wild Dog, a Latino man, who was ex-military, that got inspired by Green Arrow and became a vigilante to protect his neighborhood, dawning a hockey-mask and a pit-bull printed jacket, that earned him his alias as Wild Dog.
He has strong and young physique, some scars on his face, with black low-fade styled hair, along with a scruf beard and lock short mustache, wearing a red accent, black and grey semi-long sleeved jacket, and jeans.
Another that is in the Arrow Cave, is Curtis Holt aka Mister Terrific, a genius who was recruited by Oliver and when Oliver started to look for recruits to be apart of his team, he stepped up and asked Oliver to train him, and he became the superhero Mr. Terrific.
He is a normal...almost nerdy looking young black man, with black curly hair, wearing glasses along blackish-grey long-sleeved open sweeter, a white shirt with wine colored prism pattern print, and grey pants, Curtis, he was crying taking off his glasses to weap.
Off the side is Rory Regan, or as he is known in his vigilante persona, as Ragman.
He is a young Jewish man, short stylized black hair, with a bluish buttoned shirt, and beige slacks, he was brought out the darkness by Oliver, instead of killer, he became a hero, when he learned of Oliver death, it impact him hard.
A friend and mentor, he even nearly died to save his teammates and the city from a powerful bomb, he retired temporarily of vigilantism, until his rags rebounded to him, and now this Green Arrow is dead...he is in a lot of pain.
Lastly there's Black Siren, Dinah Drake, she is a mixed protégé of both Black Canary and Green Arrow, a metahuman that gain a similar power as Black Canary, so the two veteran superheroes, took her in and trained her.
She is a Star City Detective, quite the beauty with brown curly, long hair, wearing a faded red, opened jacket with a white t-shirt showing, black tight-pants, she tried calling Dinah...funny, that her mentor has the same name, and to avoid confusing them as heroes, she was given the name of the Black Siren...regardless, she'd tried to get Dinah Lance to come, but all her calls were ignored.
Not that they didn't understand, for Dinah Lance, Black Canary wasn't present, because she was mourning and suffering...probably the worst of them, since she and Ollie were lovers.
Speaking on Dinah, she right now was suffering the worst news of her life.
Location Earth's Orbit/Outer Space; the Justice League Watchtower, Computer Room
Black Canary felt a unease in her being, she didn't why this feeling was, but it gnawed on her.
She was waiting for Hal, Barry, and Ollie to come back, the comms were down, and in the main supercomputer of the Watchtower, showed the current status of Hawaii, it was burning and what appears to be a Hawaiian Goddess, emerged from the volcano of Mauna Loa.
When this event happened, not only was Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and the others were busy with some of the rogues, taking advantage of the anarchy, from the Fisherman to Aquaman, Giganta to Wonder Woman, and even Two-Face with Batman.
So none of them could provide backup, especially when comms were down, which didn't help Black Canary's anxiety.
At that moment, finally both Hal and Barry called in, telling them that they needed teleportation to the Watchtower, when Dinah asked about Ollie, Hal and Barry went silent.
Something bad surged through her mind, she tried to shake that feeling off, but deep inside she knew, something was terribly wrong.
That when Barry covered sout, and his suit ruined by burns, and then it was Hal who looked grim and guilty, to all in the Watchtower, they saw what Green Arrow has brought with him, a shroud covered body, and from what Vixen, Superman, and the others noticed, it could only be Green Arrow.
Flash, wanted to tell them, especially when Dinah shrieked, and rushed over to the two returning teammates, Hal stopped Barry, telling him he'll tell everything to the others, he told everyone that Ollie has died, fighting against the Forsaken, going down as a hero.
Everyone cursed, and mourned their dear friend, companion, and teammate, Dinah, she pushed away Barry and rushed over to the body resting on a table, prepared for Oliver, she pulled the cover off of Oliver...but when Black Canary, saw Ollie's burned, frost-bitten, and mutilated body of her dear lover, she'd started crying, and dropped to her knees, resting on Oliver, and wailing.
Respecting her wish to mourn, the other Leaguers left Dinah with Oliver's body...as her tears ran down her eyes, memories of them surged through Black Canary's mind...especially one of them, taking down the Black Archer aka Malcolm Merlyn in a airport, then he got down on his knee, and proposed to her.
Right now, inside her jacket was the ring, whenever she was in custome, she'd guard the engagement ring within her jacket to prevent anything to happen to it, now that ring felt both more heavy and painful in her possession.
Reminding her of the life, she'll never have...no the life that was stolen from her, she stood up from beside Ollie's body, and gave him a final kiss, swearing she'll avenge him, walking out the room, her gloved fists tightening soo hard, that they were at risk of bleeding, the look of anguish, hatred, pain, and resolution adorning her face.
Location Star City, Arrow Cave
As some time passed, everyone gathered in a circle to hold one last cheers, for their dear friend and mentor Oliver Queen the Green Arrow, holding glasses of liquor, and wishing Ollie peace, the lights in the main and only elevator into the Arrow Cave, lite.
Coming through it were three women that none expected to be there, at that time, thinking that Oliver's death was too much for all of them, but to everyone's surprise Dinah Lance, came accompanied by several known vigilantes, on her right is her younger sister Sarah Lance the White Canary, and on her left is Huntress, Helena Bertinelli.
Sarah is a bit younger than Dinah, with long, straight blonde hair with some brownish accent through her hair, wearing a blue, jean-like, buttoned long-sleeved jacket, a brown shirt peaking through her jacket collar, dark blue jeans, after Oliver ship sunk, she and him were trapped on the same island.
Once she was but a normal woman, until the League of Assassins, took her body and ressurected her, training her to be a assassin, but instead a being a mindless killer, she became a hero, and her sister gave her codename, the White Canary.
Then there's Helena, a woman with black short hair, wearing purple makeup, purple and violet top, that has several arrow bolts, strapped onto it, same style shorts that are worn over, blackish-purple long, thigh pants.
She was the daughter of one of New York City's most prominent mafia families, until a rival family killed, all her family, right in front of her, and left her for dead, if not for a trusted confidant of the family, taking her in and training her, Helena wouldn't have survived.
Becoming a vigilante, that believes in killing criminals, coming into conflicts with the like of Batman, Green Arrow, and Black Canary, even becoming apart of the Birds of Prey, getting close with Dinah, and when this tragedy happened Green Arrow called her, along with Sarah.
While confused on the reason that Black Canary, brought her sister and Huntress with her, she was soon surrounded by these protégés and heroes.
Asking her about on state, and...about Ollie's body, this question affected with everyone, especially John, Rene, Felicity, and Sarah, while Dinah Lance, clammed up, and Black Siren noticed that her friend and mentor, she was holding something in her hand, and tightened her grip.
After Sarah, placed a affectionate hand over her sister's shoulder, a face filled with concern, as Dinah Lance, placed her hand over her sister to reinsure her, taking a breathe, she told the young heroes, about Oliver's final moments.
He was fighting against the Forsaken, she didn't know or the League didn't want to her, who in the Forsaken was responsible for Ollie's death.
She told them, that she'd demanded that the League focus all focus on tracking down all of the top members of the Forsaken...and make him or her pay, Arsenal, Red Arrow, and Artemis, they didn't like the tone in Black Canary, as she finally revealed, why she was there.
Revenge, pure and simple, she wanted to scream right in the head of Mao and make pop, cracking her knuckles loudly.
She also admitted, that with the Justice League not liking the direction, that she wants to go, she quit the League, shocking everyone!!
Aside from Helena and Sarah, that were already informed of this, everyone were almost expressionless by this big news.
Not completely believing what Black Canary said, Dinah Lance, has been a core member of the League for year, she has fought and save the world from many crisis with the League by her side, one of the biggest dreams of many heroes, is to be recognized and recruited to the League.
And Dinah Lance, stated she'd left, but soon she'd explained why, without Oliver a lot of bad things is going to happen to their precious home of Star City, and the Forsaken have proven that they don't play by the rules.
Not afraid of doing things, that even their most despicable enemies, wouldn't do, threaten love one, and killing them like sport, destroying places that don't even have reason for like Jersey City, and not caring to expose their real identities to the world.
If they don't stop them, permanently, they'll devastate the world, so Black Canary propose they band together.
As much as she want to go solo, and huntdown every single freak in the Forsaken, she regretfully can't do so alone, so she's asking them, all of them.
The people that loved and knew Ollie the most, to band together as Team Arrow and make them all pay, not just Ollie, but for the home and world he'd loved, Helena and Sarah already expressed that their with Black Canary, they'll avenge Oliver and stop the Forsaken.
John stepped up, and signed up, followed by Rene, Rory, Felicity, Thea, and Curtis, while Artemis, Will, and Roy didn't they won't forgive the Forsaken, but they're not breaking the code that Oliver taught them.
Ollie at first didn't care about arresting criminals, and he admitted that was a dark time for him, they can't take lives, even monsters so easily.
So with a heavy heart they refused, but before they'd left they also told the newly formed Team Arrow, that they won't stop them either.
And with that Team Arrow join the frey, against the Forsaken, unknowingly feeding Mao more power, so he can unleash even more chaos onto the New Earth, but despite this knowledge not known by them, Team Arrow is now out for blood...but first, they needed to honor and prepare the funeral of a great hero.
