After an unknown amount of time, a commotion suddenly erupted from the distant ruins.
Following that, a surge of energy emanated outwards.
Thanos, who had been sitting on his floating throne with his chin resting on his hand, immediately looked up upon sensing the energy fluctuation.
Subsequently, a Chitauri officer, piloting a Chitauri flying vehicle, arrived before him. After performing a formal gesture, the Chitauri officer said, "Great Thanos, we have discovered something in the ruins that appears to be the Reality Stone!"
"Hmm?" Thanos was somewhat surprised, his eyes widening slightly as he leaned forward. "Are you certain it's the Reality Stone?"
The Chitauri officer said excitedly, "Yes, it can be basically confirmed! It's red and looks like a special substance somewhere between gaseous and liquid, occasionally forming a crystal-clear red gem. I sent a few soldiers to collect it, but they were all destroyed by the immense energy it released."
Thanos narrowed his eyes slightly.
From the description, it certainly sounded like an Infinity Stone.
Although these Chitauri soldiers were just cannon fodder, trash even, only an Infinity Stone could destroy them with a touch!
And red… that was indeed the color of the Reality Stone!
But why did the Collector leave without taking the Reality Stone?
Thanos stood up and pointed in a direction, "Over there, right?"
The Chitauri officer immediately nodded, "Yes, Lord Thanos."
"Hmm."
Thanos replied casually. The next moment, a tremendous power erupted, and Thanos shot out like a cannonball.
In the blink of an eye, he went from the space outside Knowhere to the interior of Knowhere, where the Collector's mansion had once stood.
However, the building was nowhere to be seen now.
As Thanos was still in the air, his gaze was drawn to a mass of red matter in the ruins below.
As the Chitauri officer had described, this red matter looked very strange.
It would spread out, turning into a cloud of gas; then it would condense slightly, becoming a small pool of red mist; then it would completely shrink, becoming a crystal clear red crystal, repeating over and over.
This peculiar appearance was indeed magical.
The Chitauri soldiers surrounding it in a circle didn't dare to step forward.
The people who had just tried to take this thing had all been mysteriously erased.

Thanos slammed heavily onto the ground, smashing a large pit.

He used the Power Stone to enhance the power of his body! This way, the Reality Stone couldn't erase him!
There was such a relationship between the Stones; theoretically, one Stone couldn't destroy another.

Thanos brought the Reality Stone close to his left hand, and it was sucked into the Infinity Gauntlet, embedding itself in a groove.
Looking at the two stones, purple and red, on the gauntlet, Thanos clenched his fist.
He was finally one step closer to his goal!
Looking up at the starry sky, images of the past involuntarily flashed before his eyes:
About 700 years ago, his home, Titan, suffered from increasing social problems due to its growing population.
He proposed killing half of the global population to alleviate the situation, but his father, A'lars, drove him out of Titan, calling him a madman.
Years later, Titan finally began to experience a series of ecological disasters due to the unbearable burden and was ultimately destroyed.
After witnessing all of this, he made up his mind to use his own methods to prevent the entire universe from suffering the same fate!
So, he conquered the Chitauri, recruited the Black Order, and formed the Dark Order.

Later, they met a person called Lorespeaker, the previous owner of the Mind Stone.
Lorespeaker had collected many myths and legends from the entire universe and showed Thanos the authenticity of the Infinity Stones.
But he didn't do this to show off; he had ulterior motives!
Lorespeaker had coveted the power of the Mind Stone in the past and used a method to forcibly merge himself with the Mind Stone.
But he didn't notice the drawbacks of this method.
As the fusion time increased, he found that his body gradually disappeared from reality, becoming a kind of "mind body".
He realized that he might have been pulled into an abandoned mysterious dimension by the Mind Stone.
This dimension was likely a temporary one, created accidentally by the Mind Stone, and would be destroyed after a number of years.
Naturally, he wasn't willing to die just like that.
So, he found Thanos through various methods, wanting to transfer his consciousness into Thanos's body! But he hadn't anticipated how powerful Thanos was.
Not only did Thanos not die, he even killed him in turn!
And, through the Mind Stone, Thanos gained countless knowledge, spells, and abilities from the Lorespeaker's memories, and also confirmed one thing:
Only by collecting all the Infinity Stones could he truly achieve his goal!
"Power, Reality... next, it's Space. Hela of Asgard, don't disappoint me!" Thanos murmured to himself.
Then, the ground beneath his feet began to rise continuously, as if a mountain were rising from the ground.
It was only a piece of that "mountain" that was beneath his feet.
Soon, it grew beyond the planet.
With Thanos taking a step, he returned to his floating throne, and the "mountain" vanished without a trace.
Thanos controlled the floating throne, flying towards the Sanctuary II.
"Set course, Asgard!"
