For example, the radioactive spider from Earth-42 that was about to bite Miles Morales was sent to Earth-1610B because of this, and bit the Miles Morales of that world instead!
Thus, Miles Morales from Earth-1610 became Spider-Man, while Miles Morales from Earth-42 deviated from his original, predetermined life trajectory.
This caused many consequences.
For example, the death of the Blond Spider-Man of Earth-1610B!
In order to protect the multiverse, Spider-Man 2099 created the Spider-Man Alliance. He recruited many elite Spider-Men from across the multiverse to serve as alliance members. Together, they eliminated anomalies and sent individuals wandering through various universes back to their original universes, ensuring the normal occurrence of Web Events.
To date, he had recruited nearly 100 Spider-Men to become members of the Spider-Man Alliance, including Scarlet Spider Ben Reilly from Earth-94B, Spider-Woman Jessica Drew from Earth-332B, Spider-Girl Ashley Barton from Earth-807128B, Tarantula from Earth-1610A, Super Spider-Man from Earth-751263B, and Spider-T-Rex from Earth-66B, among others.
