Chapter 62 - Game over

The news spread quickly, the clones, transformed into all sorts of people, gathered information very rapidly. That's how Jugo discovered that Orochimaru had already attacked Tsunade. This became news worldwide, after all, it's not every day that three of Konoha's Sannin meet to fight to the death.

There was no information about Tsunade succeeding as the Fifth Hokage, so they are probably on their way back or have just arrived in Konoha.

It would still take some time for Sasuke to be taken by the Sound Four, possibly from a few days to a few months, though this wasn't clear in the original.

Jugo didn't want to wait that long, so he found himself in a dilemma.

He could attack Orochimaru directly, but he didn't like the possibility of the snake escaping.

If it were anyone else in the world, he would have already attacked, but Orochimaru is the hardest guy Jugo has ever seen to kill.

Plans can never keep up with change.

In the end, Jugo decided to attack.

He could have defeated Orochimaru as a zombie, but he waited until he was a Wraith. If he keeps acting like a coward, when will he actually act? When will he become a god?

In any case, Orochimaru is still without his Jutsus, at most, he should be able to use some simpler Jutsus with his chakra control.

He remembers that in his fight against Tsunade and Jiraiya, he relied mainly on summons and his tongue. But to have taken so many punches from Tsunade head-on, he can probably dissipate her force, like hitting a rubber ball.

The summons were also performed with Kabuto's help.

The next day, knowing that a fight awaited him, Jugo changed his mind and did not take Kin and Dosu with him.

Instead, he felt that the clone responsible for placing the coins had completed the job.

Outside the village, a little further away, the dogs had already recovered and Kin and Dosu were waiting for Jugo's orders.

-If I turn against Orochimaru, whose side would you be on?- Jugo asked, looking at the road ahead, smiling without turning his head to them.

Dosu and Kin were silent for a moment, but Kin, looking at Jugo's back, realized that when that choice was made, she had already made it a long time ago.

-I would stand by your side, Jugo-sama.- Kin smiled slightly, feeling that the last barrier between them had been demolished by those words.

Jugo turned his head slightly, glancing at her out of the corner of his eye with a slight smile.

Dosu didn't wait long and knelt down. -I'm willing to follow you.

Jugo finally turned his head completely, looking at Dosu kneeling on the damp ground, but he said nothing quickly.

Finally, he spoke. -I understand, wait for me here.

The next moment, Jugo vanished like mist.

Dosu, Kin, and the dogs were shocked, they didn't even see him leave!

-Dosu... Jugo-sama, he... - Kin asked worriedly, looking in the direction Jugo had gone.

Dosu didn't speak, but let out a long sigh. -Let's wait, if he's defeated, he'll probably be able to escape.

Kin clenched his fists with a worried look, but in the end he sighed and said nothing more.

Using transformation, they quickly returned to the village, pretending to be normal people again, waiting for news, whatever it might be.

Jugo, on the other hand, was moving so fast that he could barely see anything around him before moving again.

His reflection would momentarily appear in the coins placed in various locations along the path, lasting only a brief second before disappearing completely.

It took Jugo less than ten minutes to appear outside the village of Som.

At approximately 300 meters per coin and 3 kilometers for every ten coins, his clone had to steal some coins along the way, but it was worth it.

His chakra? It was barely consumed.

Advantages of having a growing reserve with an infinite supply.

At that point, his Bind was so strong that he no longer felt the urge to go insane because of the curse.

Jugo thought he would need stamps to find a solution to his genetic problem, but in the end he only needed to advance his sequence.

Sighing, still invisible, Jugo sensed the reflective surfaces within the village as transmission signals. He passed through kunai, glass or anything else he could find until he reached the room where Orochimaru was.

Lying down and connected to an IV, he was asleep at that moment.

Jugo thought Orochimaru would notice him, but it was clear that his spiritual attribute wasn't the best.

The next moment, Jugo possessed Orochimaru.

He was able to sense many things, a fractured soul surrounding several other soul fragments.

Orochimaru's soul was... sad.

He didn't know what to say for a moment, he felt a little sorry for the man.

But that didn't stop him, the next moment, Jugo took control of Orochimaru's body, causing the man's eyes to widen in confusion, clearly feeling his body rigid and motionless, even his chakra was disordered.

Jugo expected a battle, but he underestimated the man's weakness.

Jugo even felt a little ashamed for all the work he had put into getting there, only to find out that the final enemy had been defeated with a wave of his sword.

But he didn't think much more about it, it was better that way. He wasn't a battle maniac, he was content to win easy fights.

Ironically, at that moment, Jugo felt his potion being digested slightly, he didn't know why, but he wasn't going to look for it now.

Instead, Jugo allowed his Werewolf toxin to seep into Orochimaru's body while controlling the man's mouth to emit sounds. - Lord of Abyss, Chained Curse, Father of Devils.

Orochimaru's slurred and weakened voice rang out. The man had no idea what he was talking about, but fear grew as he felt something changing his body. His chakra was completely disordered, he couldn't use even the smallest jutsu. His body was paralyzed, he couldn't move.

Orochimaru could only remain there, being manipulated by growing fear.

Jugo, on the other hand, sensed the connection to the Tenebrous World, but did not enter yet. First, he allowed Orochimaru's body, which had begun to convulse, to completely transform into a werewolf.

When the man stood up, his hands still trembling and Jugo felt the connection between them, he sighed with relief.

The next moment, Jugo entered the Tenebrous World and realized that now he could enter completely!

Sure, he needed to be in Wraith form to get in, but that could be very useful in the future, his subordinates only need to perform a summoning ritual to call him and he could appear anywhere in the world!

He was excited, but for now he put that aside, instead, he touched the red star representing Orochimaru and let a fragment of corrupting energy escape.

Orochimaru's eyes went black for a moment as he rolled on the ground in pain, but it didn't last long. When it was over, Orochimaru's eyes became even more fanatical. Jugo asked him to return to human form and it took him less than a minute to do so, the fastest he'd ever done so far.

Orochimaru seemed to have great control over his own body.

Appearing in his physical form in front of the man, Orochimaru lowered his body. - Master!

A genuine smile appeared on Jugo's face, he had succeeded.

From that moment on, he was the owner of that village and had Orochimaru's entire arsenal at his disposal.

Finally, he could move on to the next objective, advancing to sequence 4. To do this, he needed a body at least at the level of a saint.

A body that still possesses spirituality.

In Jugo's opinion, there were few of those around, but he was sure of one, he just needed to find it.

Uchiha Madara, the reincarnation of Indra who fused the gene of Ashura's reincarnation and unlocked the Rinnegan.

He would have preferred to find the corpse of Hagoromo or Hamura, but doubted he could find them after 1,000 years.

Another option was Gedo Mazo, but he didn't know if that guy was considered a corpse.

The other options were dubious and he had no interest in searching and he knew where the corpse was, Sangaku no Hakaba, the mountain cemetery.
