The next morning, I got ready to go to the HQ with Keith. I dressed in a simple suit. Keith had all my clothes and things from my apartment sent to his estate. It felt incredibly invasive that he entered my apartment without my approval, but this is Keith we're talking about, so I'm not surprised. And the court order he got allowed it.
Nurse Anne did a quick check-up on me and then pushed me in my wheelchair out of my room. I met Keith in the foyer of his mansion. He was dressed and ready for work. It was uncomfortably similar to how I would meet with Luis in the foyer of his apartment every morning before we left for work.
For a moment, we stared at each other. More so, I was glaring at him, and he was staring at me with that annoying blank expression of his.
"Let's go," I told him.
He didn't seem too happy seeing me. I figured the issue was that Keith wanted to prevent me from escaping. He felt uncomfortable taking me to the HQ with him.
