Once we finally touched the ground, I sat down on the side to catch my breath.
Thankfully, Kash and Luca did not complain, but Lara seemed annoyed that I was taking some time.
She paced around tiredly, almost like she was checking on me every two seconds, making it seem like I was wasting their time, and then finally I just caught up.
"Yeah, let's head back to the campsite," I stated.
"It's okay if you want to rest though," Luca said harshly, keeping one eye on Lara.
"No, it's okay, I'm fine," I stated. I guessed it was nice of him to notice that I was bothered by Lara's glares.
Once we started heading back and reached the campsite, I saw a devastated Scarlett trying to calm down my hyperactive children.
The two of them had grabbed the pillows and torn them open, playing with the inside material.
"Whee!" Amy was jumping up and down until she saw me arrive. "Mommy is here!" she yelled, running with her little feet.
