I was currently inside my office within the White Palace, working on the necessary paperwork needed to make the Pale Kingdom an actual city recognized by Hell.
But as I wrote down the information needed for this, the Radiance suddenly spoke up within me.
"This is boring! Why don't you do something more interesting? Like slay dragons!"
Sigh… As much as I would love to go out there and kill dragons again, I'm too busy with some rather necessary paperwork.
I told the Radiance, which only made her more insistent.
"Come on! It's so boring here now! Everyone's basically out there now, and I'm stuck with this silk lady, and the Shade Lord does nothing but sleep!"
The Radiance yelled at me with enough volume to shatter my eardrums—if I had any.
"And what exactly do you want me to do about it? I can't really bring you out here in the material plane, and even if I did, you don't have a physical form yet."
"Then why don't you make me one, then?"
The Radiance asked like it was a simple problem.
"I can't just make you a physical form. I either need a pre-built scroll that has your plan, or I can make it from scratch—which, by the way, takes a really long time."
I told the Radiance.
"Come on! It doesn't need to look exactly like me! I just want a body so I can finally visit the different places there in Hell!"
Sigh… fine, but don't complain when you don't like the body I made.
"Yay!"
Getting up from my chair, I walked out of my office and headed toward the workshop, and as I walked the halls of the castle, the Radiance would give me suggestions on what she wanted to look like and would not stop talking.
And as much as I wanted her to be quiet, I simply listened to her suggestions, since it was her body after all.
Once I finally reached the workshop, the different insects working inside quickly felt my presence and turned from their work to give me a bow before going back to work.
As I walked past them, I grabbed a hammer and a chisel before heading toward Father's private work area.
Entering inside, the walls were decorated with multiple buzzsaws of different shapes and sizes, along with different insect drawings that served as the blueprint for me creating the changelings.
As I continued to walk, I reached the main sculpting area. I summoned a large block of marble and, getting ready, I began chipping away at the marble slowly.
This took me ten hours to finally finish, and it didn't help that the Radiance was constantly in my ear speaking and asking for small changes, but thankfully I was able to finish.
Now all that was left was a statue of a rather shapely moth demon. The Radiance didn't want to attract too much attention to herself by using her real form, so she wanted something similar to a sinner's appearance.
With everything finally finished, I informed the Radiance, and she was quite pleased with my work. So, not wanting to waste any more time, I began drawing the necessary sigils to move a part of her soul inside the body.
This didn't take too long, and when I finally finished drawing the sigils, I began powering it. All the sigils began to glow brighter, and with a flash of light the entire room was quickly engulfed in a blinding orange glow.
Once the light faded, the statue had disappeared. Instead, a rather tall moth lady stood. She slowly opened her eyes and began to inspect herself.
And with a satisfied grin, she quickly unfurled her wings before flying out the window and laughing in glee.
…
I may regret this later, but I'm too busy.
So, placing down my tools, I began walking back to my office to finally finish my paperwork.
