The night lights shone like tiny stars outside the mirrored window as Moren sat across from Zane in the restaurant.
"Why are you playing with the food? Is something bothering you?" Zane asked putting his spoon down.
"I am not that hungry," Moren stirred his spoon inside the soup bowl.
"But you have not had lunch either."
"Did I? That's weird, I am still not hungry," Moren let out a sigh and looked out of the window. Then he turned to look at Zane, "isn't it hard to commute from your company just to have dinner with me?"
"What are you talking about? I work my ass off so that I get off on time and see you."
"No, I mean it's tiring to commute back and forth. I was just worried about you."
"Exactly, we should move in together," Zane took a sip of water, "then we could have more time together."
And then you will get bored of me more quickly.
Moren faked a smile, "Aren't you too fast paced? We don't even know how long..." Moren hesitated, "we should let our relationship grow."
