Braelyn's pov
I instinctively wanted to shove him off. What was wrong with this man? Why the hell was he kissing me in front of my husband?! In front of his bloody nephew.
His scorching lips were sucking my soul from my body. His hold was tight on my waist as he held me close ignoring my protest.
Lucien's kiss was fierce, unyielding, and devastatingly possessive. It happened so fast I barely caught my breath. One moment, I was arguing with him, hissing for him to let me go. Next, my mouth was claimed like it belonged to him.
Then it clicked in my mind, I had kissed these lips before. He was the one I met at the Karaoke bar. The man who stole a kiss that day was my husband's uncle. Why was this happening to me?! I never knew our paths would cross again and I had completely forgotten him.
His face was blurry in my memory but those lips were unforgettable. The lips I wished were Raphael's.
I gasped in shock, instinctively placing my hands on his chest to push him away. But the second I touched him, I faltered.
His body was warm and firm beneath my palms, and his mouth. God, his mouth was a sin I wasn't meant to taste. His thumb brushed my jaw, tilting my face just the way he wanted, deepening the kiss like he was proving something. Like he was branding me. The moment his tongue slid into my mouth I almost lost all reason.
His lips made me feel something I haven't felt in a while. I hated that he was the one who made me feel this way. He was my uncle-in-law. This was wrong in every way I know. I should hate this feeling, my brain kept on telling me, but something in me knew I was lying.
This was wrong. I was better than this. I reminded myself and tried again to break away.
The image of Raphael standing there, watching, flashed like a warning in my mind. Raphael was too stunned to react at first. Just stood watching for a while.
Lucien's tongue swept over my bottom lip, and I whimpered before I could stop myself. A moan rang and snapped everyone back to reality.
"What the hell do you think you are doing?!" Raphael's angry voice boomed from behind us unable to watch anymore. He stormed towards us.
Before he could grab me Lucien reluctantly broke the kiss and shielded me behind him.
"I didn't know you had gone blind Raphael. What does it look like?" Lucien scoffed at him before our eyes met again.
He rubbed my swollen, red lips with his thumb. I stared at him, dumbfounded, trying to catch my breath, my chest subtly rising and falling.
"Just watch me." He whispered into my ear. He deliberately made it look like he was flirting with me. I was puzzled. Was he doing this to piss Raphael off?
Raphael's jaw clenched, his veins popping on his face, irritated by Lucien, who was smiling smugly at him.
"Let go of my wife, you bloody vermin?! How dare you kiss her?" He exploded throwing a punch at Lucien.
Lucien easily avoided his blow and moved me out of harm's way. Now they were both confusing me. Why was Raphael acting mad when he was flirting with Amelia a few minutes ago?
Lucien laughed like he had heard the most ridiculous thing ever. He pulled me closer like he wanted to merge with my soul. His hold on my waist was very possessive.
"How dare I kiss her you say?!" He chimed in laughing in between.
Lucien's laugh died off, and his face went serious, like he was about to declare war, which he did.
"So Braelyn didn't tell you. It must be hard staying in the dark." He added just to build tension.
Honestly, I was enjoying the show too much to intervene. I love how Lucien riled Raphael up. My mind was secretly curious about whatever stunt ' psycho ' was about to pull.
Raphael's gaze fell on me, and they were sharp and judging. Only God knew what was going through his head.
"What is he talking about Braelyn? Why were you kissing this bastard?!" He bombarded me with questions. His jaw clenched so hard it looked like it would crack.
I had no idea why Lucien was beating around the bush. He was generous enough to break the news, even though I was completely oblivious to it.
"It's nothing special. She has been my girlfriend since you opened the marriage to explore. Braelyn decided to explore with me, and I am ready to sell my soul for her or whatever is left because she had already stolen it from the moment we met." Lucien said those words staring straight into my eyes.
In that moment, his hazel eyes didn't hold the mischief they usually carry. There was something else my guts warned me against finding out because it could be my ruin.
I almost blurted wanting to deny it immediately. Raphael was literally about to explode after Lucien's declaration. When the hell did I start dating him?! This was the point I should have denied this crazy stunt if only the look on Raphael's face wasn't worth it.
Raphael stumbled backwards a few steps. He was in complete disbelief, his eyes wide open with his mouth agape.
"That can't be right. There is no way Braelyn would do such a thing." He blurted, which was true. It was against my principles, which is why it was so unbelievable.
The devil whispered in my ears. Lucien's hold relaxed a bit like he was telling me a secret message. I smiled sweetly, a look which hasn't crossed my face in ages.
"Sorry you had to find out this way. Raphael, this is my boyfriend Lucien. Lucien, this is my husband Raphael, I guess you already know each other." I introduced my supposed lover to my husband like it was nothing special.
Lucien's eyes sparkled, he was glad I was playing along.
"What do you mean by your boyfriend? We are married, for crying out loud?!" He exclaimed, still in a state of disbelief.
Raphael tried to grab my wrist again, but Lucien caught him, swatting him away. Lucien didn't say anything, the look in his eyes was enough to send chills down Raphael's spine. Sharp and cold, he wasn't going to hesitate to cut off that hand if it touched me.
I chuckled at Raphael then leaned on Lucien's chest, my gaze watching him like the only one in the world. He played the role perfectly and gave me the same look.
"We are in an open marriage. You didn't think you were the only one who could have fun." I sneered.
Raphael shook his head. His fingers raking through his hair as he groaned.
"He is my uncle of all the men out there why my uncle."
I shrugged, "I would rather not say to save your ego, Raphael." I winked at Lucien then giggled.
Oh, how I loved the way Raphael's face changed with disgust watching us. I was having too much fun already. Lucien smirked, his thumb rubbing my chin.
"I am sure he doesn't want to know how I made you scream under me that night in the karaoke bar. We didn't finish off that night firecracker." Lucien teased. My cheeks went red before I knew it.
Where was he getting these ideas from? Raphael had a million things to say, which I was looking forward to, but unfortunately, the witch appeared.
"Raphael, here you are I have been searching for you." Amelia chimed. She spotted us from afar and then briskly approached Raphael.
She grabbed his arm smiling sweetly at him before eyeing me with a smug look. Raphael was still upset, but he hid it from her like he was hiding an affair from his true wife.
"Sorry, I ran into some trouble." He replied giving her a stiff smile. Amelia's smile went stiff, she read the room and knew something was up.
"Did I miss something?" She asked, her eyes darting between us.
"Tsk," I clicked my tongue, sick of her, Raphael and even the psycho holding my waist.
"Let's leave Lucien. The air suddenly went stale." I sneered, then gave them a polite smile before leaving with Lucien, who didn't let go of my waist. He held onto it like his most prized possession.
Raphael's cold gaze was on my back the entire time but I didn't acknowledge him until we were gone. I could finally breathe once we were out of the garden. The kitchen side entrance closed behind us.
"You can let go of my waist now." I spat at Lucien as soon as we were alone trying to pry his hand from my waist. Lucien didn't bulge. He spun me around.
My heart almost leapt out of my chest when he pushed me against the wall, trapping me like a kitten while he loomed above me. I glared at him, annoyed at his amused gaze with an arched brow.
"Why do you like pushing me away Lynn?" He asked with a smirk before he grabbed my chin, his fingers pressing on tightly as he forced me to stare back at his hazel eyes.
"Did you think you would take advantage of my generosity and run away?" He had the guts to ask when he was the one who took advantage of me on multiple occasions.
