Chapter 19 - 19 Indebting

As his sight was overcome with the cover of his lids, he saw, not with his eyes obviously but...

He heard, therefore he saw.

Frequency...

Yes, frequency can in a way define reality like shape, after all colour had frequency

As he placed his palm flat on the table.

Slowly he moved his perception forward, as the surroundings appeared and disappeared with the rhythmatic tapping of his feet, as shaking lining moved across the surroundings surface, the colour of yellow appearant in his mind.

Then the lines moved across the surface of the broken door, causing him to go a bit sheepish.

"As messed up as this city may be, that doesn't give me a... real excuse to destroy everything."

He mumbled to himself as he kept on pushing his perception.

Entering the room he saw the lines move across many things, seeming to specifically be clothing, underwear and hygiene based items sprawled across from the floor.

Then a figure appeared in his perception as he saw a bag, his senses digging into the contents with in, he saw a smaller bag with in, he then dived in–!!?

His perception stood in place, "Well then, i don't need to worry much when it happens, they'll be more civilians than Metas."

Moving passed that, he pushed his perception out, then to the handled door, "Who still puts handles on doors?.." after scrutinizing the outdated door he pushed into the bathroom

His senses landing on the stumbling boy surrounded by chaos, items owned by the hotel scattered and forgot on the floor, the scene feeling like a tornado was the cause of the mess.

Steady... the boy became steady as he whipped his gaze to the door.

Ron sighed at what he saw.

The boys eyes were blue, iris's clouded and crystalline, as a gold ring encircled his dilated black pupil.

Null looked side to side not to the right or left, rather in front of him, something was there right?

Ron saw the doubt in Olive's eyes, he was expecting the boy to shrug it off as paranoia, yet to his surprise, he looked straight at the door.

Ron moved the focus of his senses to the right.

Null kept looking at the door, then began to glare. He looked left, then immediately looked right and glared intensely.

Perceiving the now slight fatty slim boy in his boxers look at him... no, felt was a better way of thinking about his strange ability to sense him.

!!!?

Null stepped forward and stomped at the general area he felt the disturbance.

A large potent amount of vibration generated by the stomp appeared close to the center of Ron's focus.

Ron's head flinged back after being, literally stomped out! his perception.

He looked forward as he processed what happened, "That... hehhehaha~! his becoming more like his parents." Then paused as the appearance of Null's eyes caught his thoughts, "It deviated from it's original appearance, it's always been only a blue pallette, and it didn't have that strange clouded characteristic."

Sighing, Ron just seemed to groan and chuckle, amused and exasperated by the discovery.

"Well, that covers up it's relation to my side of the family."

After that Ron felt a vibration in his pocket, taking out his phone, he looked at the name of the caller, recognition appeared in his eyes as he answered the call.

"What are you doing?" A firm voice questioned.

"Taking care of business, what about it?" Ron answered unbothered.

"Literal human trafficking is taking place and you choose to spend your night in a hotel. Do you even comprehend how serious, the situation at hand, is?" The firm voice said, distorted unable to identify gender or accent, yet the pattern of speech clear and recognizable.

"I do, do you?" Ron shot back.

The voice paused, then speaking up restrained, "Explain..."

"You have only been on this planet for a short time, so let me keep this simple–"

"Don't talk to me like that! I'm no fool." The voice interrupted, a irritation clear in the voice's tone.

"Yet, your overconfidence in your ability has become something that makes you one. Tell me how long has it been since your shells have been on this side of the planet?" Ron questioned.

"...." The voice didn't answer.

"Answer me?" Ron said in a stern voice, oozing intolerance.

"When you first arrived at Sun Hit." Spoke the voice, losing a part of it that made it firm.

"How far have you spread them?" Ron pressed.

"Country wide." The voice said.

"So then why don't you get it?" Ron said baffled at the progress at which they spread their shells, but more baffled at the lack of understanding coming from the other side.

"Fine! I understand i have been reliant on my ability nowadays, but how else will i be able to investigate like I used to... with you?" The voice said, frustration having become more apparent, as a defeated tone escaped.

"The ability is reliable, but not you." Ron said gritting his teeth, finding it hard to say.

Though before the voice raged in an outburst, Ron spoke fast.

"My friend, understand you are one man and as strong as your ability may be..." He sighed, "You can't listen to everything and understand everything at the same time. Did you even know, compared to the past you broke down everything you learned to me, as if you understood it in a moment."

The voice didn't interrupt, a constant exhausted breathing audible from the other side.

"And right now my friend, your not getting it." Ron ended, a pent up frustration seeping through just at the end.

A long quiet reigned, as Ron placed his phone flat on the table.

Suddenly the voice cracked through, firm once more, "Then don't be vague about, alright? I'm-I'm tired, and more so irritated."

Ron, rubbing at his chin he gathered his thoughts, he couldn't over complicate things neither simplifying it, he has to play around with information and make sure it's not enough for, the theoretically sleep deprived impulsive tech wise friend of his, to take action...

He atleast thinks his sleep deprived.

Then seeming to understand what to say he rubbed at his brows, not to sure what to fully suspect out of his friend, "Think about how large this operation is, that it attracts so many people spanning cities, and ain't no underground organization is going to play risky like that, unless–"

"It has back up." The voice spoke having an epiphany.

Ron grinned, "Your mind ain't as dulled as i thought it was."

The voice retorted back, as Ron went back and forth nothing but a smile plastering across his face.

"So than, you understand why I'm here?" Ron said not really doubting that his friend didn't catch the meaning.

"Your there to indebt the people and make them your allies."

Ron hummed a yes.

"But then, it brings up a question. Was this your intent before I alerted you to the migration?"

Ron scrunched his face, then hummed, "No."

Voice spoke questioning him, "Really now? How can I believe my new intelligent friend?"

"Hm-hmmm?" Ron shrugged, "It's your choice if you want to trust me, and really i was planning to deliver the boys then

skadadle back here, and any other place I had business in." Then yawning he continued, "If they owned me or not, it doesn't really matter to me."

Then pausing Ron ended, "Stop over all monitoring and keep tabs on the girl you were so worried for, and the boys. I have no idea what they'll be up to."

The voice was about to protest then with a sigh, "Fine, and thank you... friend."

And the call ended.

"I didn't even say goodbye." peeved Ron mumbled.

Standing up he walked to his room passing by Midas's room, then arriving infront of his door next Lil Olives.

But he froze, then stared at the now standing mangled gold door.

"It has to be Midas or that boy got strong, and I know that it ain't the last one." Ron said entering his room and ending the day right there.

...

7:37 AM

BANG BANG BANG

Midas, heard nothing but despair, his sleep taken from him. Standing up Midas wore Olive's clothes and proceed to press his palm against the plate.

The door slid open as he looked at the towering man in wizard pajamas... again.

"What *yawn~~*." Yawning Midas shut his maw with a cheittering, as his teeth collided with each other, "What brings you to my door, Sir?"

"Follow me." That was all the well rested soilder said, and Midas followed with out question.

They arrived at the mangled door, stood against the opening.

Ron turned his head to him

"You?"

Midas nodding answered, "While you were arguing with your friend."

"Really didn't notice ya at all." Ron commented as he pushed the door with a finger, as it tipped over crashing.

BAM!

!!

!!

"Along with keeping him alive, mind being a butler of sorts?"
