"I have to work on Christmas again" *I say walking from my tiny apartment to my old car that I got when I was 18*
(This sucks everyone I know is going to their homes for Christmas while I have to work my ass off just so I can pay tuition)
*I get in the car and turn it on after like 3 tries and get onto the road*
"I should get this repaired when I get my next paycheck it's making a lot of sound" *I mutter as I fumble with the radio and switch it off*
(That stuck up manager is going to destroy my eardrums again, I don't even remember his name! That's how irrelevant he is)
*I continued on the road occasionally muttering and complaining about working on Christmas but after around 15 minutes my manager calls me*
"Yeah I'm very sorry I swear I'll be there in like 5 minut-"
???:"You'll save him right?"
*A low and... feminine voice comes into my ear and my eyes widen in surprise as I look at my phone screen and see that it is my manager's number that I'm on call with*
"Uh what? Are you playing a prank on me?" *I say into the phone but there's only silence for a solid minute*
"Hell-" *I get cut off when the same voice talks but this time I hear it in my left ear...and the phone is still silent*
???:"please help him he's suffering"
"Huh" *is the only thing I can let out before the same voice starts to get more aggressive and I start hearing it from inside my car and in my mind*
???:"save him"
???:"he's suffering"
???:"your the only one"
???:'You'll help him right?"
???:"help my beloved"
???:"keep my darling safe"
(What the actual fuck is going on!) *I freak out my phone dropping onto the car floor*
"Shit shit shit" *I panic the voice getting more and more prominent*
???:"help him"
???:"save him"
???:"I love him"
???:"save my love"
"Ok fine! Whatever! Just shut up whoever it is! *I yell and everything goes silent*
"What was that" *I mutter shaken up*
(Am I going insane from all the stress) *I continue driving and reach down to grab my phone but am unsuccessful the first time as it's right beside the break and when I look back up I see a shadowy figure standing on the road right in front of my car*
"Oh shit!" *I try to break but my phone gets under the break and I can't break so I try to stear away but end up going off the road and heading straight down a steep ditch*
(Is this it, is this how I die from a asshole standing on the road!) *I think as the world slows down and I see my car about to fall straight onto a tree that will surely kill me*
(No no no! Damm it I can't die yet I want to live! I want to graduate college I want to start a family I want to make money I want to make my parents pro-
*I can't even finish thinking and the car crashes but before the tree could crush my head I see a blinding white light and then darkness*
(Is this heaven or hell? Or is it just nothingness)
*I keep my eyes closed believing I'm dead but soon hear.... talking? Or gibberish at least and I open my eyes to see*
