"Kalix???"I called him.
He walked towards us totally surprised.
"Jayy!!!Never thought I'd meet you here"he said giving me a light hug and I hugged him back.
I was turning to face Keifer and going to introduce him.But that's when I saw his face....SHIIIT!!!
His face was burning with jealousy.His fists clenched,So did his jaw, that anyone from even far from us could clearly see his Jawline.Myy GOD!! I was just excited to see him after all these years.Did I really had to hug him??Face your own mess,JAY ..
"Jay jay, I didn't expect you here.I thought you are working at the Mariano's."Kalix talked again.
"Oh yeah!Maybe you forgot I am a Fernandez too.My brother is the CEO of the company.You know him-Michael Aries Fernandez.He's not available for now neither my elder cousin.That's why I'm here.And are you the New Investor??"I said.
"Yes,i am.I guess a lot of things happened all these years.This is your husband Mr.Watson ,right?"He said looking at Keifer.
"Yeah,Nice to meet you Mr.Martinez"Keifer said shaking hands with him.Clearly not happy seeing him.Justt Formalities,Formalities.
"How do you know him?"I asked clinging onto Keifer's arm.His expression softened.I guess I just slipped out of trouble this time.
"Don't act all humble.Who in the buisness world doesn't know the great richest couple in the buisness world?One is the one and only heir and the present CEO of Watson Enterprise.The other is the heiress of two vast companies-Mariano Enterprise and Fernandez Corporation and the present CEO of Mariano Empire."He said.
Even though that's a bit exaggerated, that's actually true.Can't believe you became this rich ,Jayy!!Be jealous,you all.
"Anyway,Welcome to Fer.Corp"I said shaking hands with him.
The meeting started.It lasted until almost 12 pm.Every board members left after the meeting leaving me , Keifer and Kalix.
Suddenly,Keifer's phonse rang and he excused himself and went outside to attend the call.
"How are you,Jayy??I haven't heard about you since I graduated.I guess you are living a happy life as I can see."he said.
"Yeahh, exactly! So many things happened.After my graduation,we married and i joined Mariano Enterprise.After some years,I became the CEO of Mariano enterprise and also the director of Fer.corp.And we had a baby girl"I said.
"Oh really,Jayy??You're a mom now.How old is she??"He asked curiously.
"Yeah! She's 13 now and she's inthe third year of high school.You might not belie this.MY daughter actually accelerated,you know."I said proudly.
"She's got your husband's smartness or how'll that even happen"he said.
He looks really executive, elegant and kind of Serious type.But as I 'm one of the people who knew him since childhood,I can't really say that.
