Chapter 31 - Chapter 31 Thunder

The women of the tribe screamed, while the men suppressed their fear and took up weapons to fight the enemy.

But those weren't even modern weapons, sickles, axes, hammers, pitchforks...

They used whatever they had, and the witch almost laughed out loud when she saw this.

"Descendants of the disobedient, die!"

The witch was filled with black energy, and a group of black locusts flew out from the forest behind her, rushing forward to devour the flesh and blood of the tribesmen.

The witch laughed heartily amid their miserable screams.

Suddenly, she seemed to hear something and her face changed.

She quickly took out a small clay figure from her body and grabbed a strong man in the tribe.

"You should be proud of this!"

She smiled and broke off the clay figurine's head, and a ball of black air seeped into the man's seven orifices.

The man shuddered and fell to the ground.

The witch hugged him tenderly and whispered in his ear, "Wake up, my brother."

The man twitched violently, and when he stood up, his entire appearance and temperament changed drastically.

"elder sister..."

"A powerful enemy is coming, my brother, eat quickly!"

The man readily agreed. He opened his mouth wide and sucked, swallowing the vitality of more than a dozen young men into his stomach.

Unlike his sister, he is not picky about food.

So it not only absorbed their vitality, but also their flesh and bones, leaving no residue.

Then the man's body grew rapidly at an unreasonable speed. He soon grew to more than two meters tall and became a muscular big man.

He showed an expression of enjoyment, but before he could savor it, a bolt of lightning struck him from the sky.

The two-meter-tall figure was knocked away like a rag sack, but the big guy was completely unharmed.

He shook his head and stood up again.

"She found a helper." Zatanna said nervously.

Dane brought her down from the sky.

"We'll each take one, and I'll handle the big guy."

When the evil god's brother discovered the enemy, flames burst out of his body, and Dane seemed to be able to smell the sulfur of hell.

He stood up, and the ground beneath his feet climbed up like a snake.

Then his body was burned by flames, and mud and stones filled it to become his flesh and blood.

In the blink of an eye, the strong man turned into a giant more than three meters tall, with hot yellow flames emitting from his whole body.

These are not ordinary fires, nor are they hellfires. They are soul fires created by giants using witchcraft to take the lives of mortals.

Its fuel is the souls of the humans who died at his hands.

Among this pair of evil siblings, the younger brother is mainly responsible for frontal combat, and his abilities are more suitable for hand-to-hand combat.

After the giant transformed, Zatanna looked at the giant and then looked at her own size.

"Well, it seems he can only leave it to you."

The fire giant roared and punched Dane.

How could he be so cowardly?

Dane threw a punch without thinking, fist to fist, and a huge shock wave spread out, directly shattering the opponent's stone fist.

The rubble, partially ablaze, flew towards the witch, who uttered an unintelligible spell.

The burning stone stopped before her eyes and then flew backwards, aiming for Zatanna.

But Zatanna remained calm in the face of danger. She held the magic hat on her head with one hand and held the wand with the other.

He recited another inverted sentence, which translated literally as "impact"!

The burning rubble scattered, and the flames attached to it turned green. By the time Zatanna realized something was wrong, it was too late.

The green flames touched the surrounding tribesmen, causing drastic changes in them.

Their facial features began to distort and the fire of life began to wilte.

Like a virulent virus, humans burned by the green flames eventually turned into monsters made of obsidian.

Zatanna didn't expect such an outcome and was stunned.

The witch screamed, and the obsidian "man" rushed towards her like an obedient slave.

Dane, who was always paying attention to the battle situation, discharged electricity from his palm and pierced through several monsters that were approaching Zatanna without hesitation.

"They are already dead. Don't worry about it. Do what you can."

Zatanna perked up after hearing that, she waved her cane and said something unknown.

The ground beneath the monsters' feet suddenly turned into a swamp.

Before she entered the Rock of Eternity, she would not have been able to cast such a large-scale magic. It seems that the feeling at that time was not an illusion. Being on the throne can indeed significantly increase her magic level.

But the witch is no ordinary person, although her strength has declined due to the lack of living sacrifices for a long time.

But it's not something a fledgling magician like Zatanna can solve.

She was only afraid of Dane because that man possessed divine power.

Instead of letting the monsters attack Zatanna, she had them attack the tribesmen in an attempt to infect more people and turn them into monsters.

The fire giant quickly recovered his broken arm. He looked at Dane solemnly. This man was not easy to deal with.

Dane didn't just stare blankly like him, he started setting off grenades with both hands.

This divine thunder is the nemesis of evil and has a certain restraining effect on the power of evil gods.

The fire giant screamed and was knocked away.

The witch's face changed when she saw this, the black mist around her body dissipated, and she teleported away again.

As soon as her figure disappeared, a fist with an arc of electricity came down, leaving a huge pit.

Dane walked out of the pit and threw lightning spears with both hands, destroying the remaining monsters one by one.

"Her teleportation ability is very troublesome, and if she runs to a crowded place..."

Zatanna didn't continue. In a place with many people, the witch's strength would recover faster.

"So we have to find a way to block her ability to move. The good news is, she's been sealed away for thousands of years and definitely doesn't recognize the way, so she's probably still wandering around."

"What about the bad news?"

"There are more than one tribes living around this primeval forest."

"Then let's go!" Zatanna said anxiously.

"Wait a moment." Dane carved a magic circle here.

"This will prevent those two from making a comeback."

The tribe was in ruins at this time, but fortunately there were still many survivors.

Given the witches' hatred for them, there is a high possibility that they will come back to kill them.

At this time, Dane handed Zatanna a pair of handcuffs emitting blue light.

"This is a magical tool made of eternal metal, engraved with a spell that bans magic."

"That witch seems to despise you. Find an opportunity to put it on her."

Taking the handcuffs, Zatanna smiled knowingly.

She took Dane's arm and the two of them chased in the direction the witch fled again.

"They located us!"

The witch and her brother had just hidden in the forest when they noticed that the two men were approaching again.

"We can't keep hiding like this. We need to find a way to hold them back completely so we have time to find more humans to eat."

"But the strength we recovered is not enough. That man is very strong."

The giant said gloomily that if he were in his prime, he would never be so weak.

"It doesn't matter. It won't take too long. Just a little while."

"I can sense the presence of humans. Let's go to the next tribe immediately. Anyone who disobeys will die!"

The witch gritted her teeth at this and continued to teleport with her brother.

At this moment, Dane, who was flying in the air, immediately sensed that the target had disappeared. He thought about it and realized the witch's plan.

"Hold on tight, they're going to attack the next tribe."

Unleashing the power of Mercury's Speed, Dane flew faster than a rocket, stretching and distorting the surrounding scenery.

Zatanna hugged him tightly, as if this was the only way she could feel a little bit safer.

They flew over the hills and landed in a new tribe.

The next moment, the witch appeared with her brother.

"Separate our forces." Dane said and rushed out instantly.

As soon as the giant stood firm, Dane grabbed his face and lifted him into the air.

"younger brother!"

The witch watched helplessly as Dane took her brother up to the sky, but she was powerless to do anything.

Besides, with her current strength, it would be useless even if she flew up, and she might even be taken care of by Dane.

So she could only take it out on Zatanna.

"How dare you!"

With a single wave of her hand, she lifted up the earth, and the ground became her blade to strike at her enemies.

Zatanna pointed her cane and chanted a spell.

Suddenly, a strong light burst out from the tip of the wand, and the witch was staring at her with wide eyes and was instantly hit.

She covered her eyes and screamed.

The howl of the witches could shock the soul, and Zatanna was unable to move her feet when she heard the sound.

She reluctantly raised her hand and cast a silencing spell.

Witch's Howl has been weakened, but still has some power.

The tribesmen who were unaware of the truth heard the shouting and their faces turned horrified. They covered their faces but could not stop the bleeding from all their orifices.

Zatanna wanted to save them, but she knew that only by dealing with the witch could she truly solve their problems.

The most important thing now is not to give the witch the opportunity to contact the tribe.

In the sky, Dane grabbed the giant's face and threw him down, letting him create a huge crater on the ground.

During this time, he gathered enough energy to hit the opponent with a lightning spear.

But the evil god is really hard to kill. Dane can clearly feel that he is not dead yet. He is really tough.

He glanced in Zatanna's direction, she wouldn't last much longer.

If Dane needs to kill this evil brother as quickly and thoroughly as possible...

Dane swooped down and landed his feet on the giant's face, nearly breaking his skull.

"I rarely use this trick, but as a god, I am willing to give you the last bit of dignity."

The giant didn't understand what he meant, but instinctively sensed danger, so he struggled desperately.

Dane squatted down, placed his hand on the giant's face, and whispered:

"Shazam!"

Boom——!

A bolt of thunder came down from the sky, striking him and the giant directly.

"No--!"

The moment the giant evil god died, the witch immediately sensed something.

She raised her head and wailed, crying bitterly.

Taking advantage of this opportunity, Zatanna immediately flew forward and took the opportunity to handcuff her hands with eternal metal handcuffs.

The witch suddenly felt all the power in her body being sealed, and she looked at Zatanna with resentment.

"You think this thing can control me? I'm a god!"

At this time, thunder sounded in the sky again, and a red figure descended. It was Shazam wearing a white cloak.

This was the first time Zatanna had seen him dressed like this.

"You have failed, June Moore, or..."

He leaned close to the witch's ear and whispered: "Enchantress."

These words contained magical power. When the witch heard them, her body trembled and her whole temperament suddenly changed.

In the blink of an eye, he turned back into the archaeologist June Muen.
