There were even cases where people turned into Lizard Men after just saliva or blood contact.
"I hope the next Resident Evil story isn't set in New York, I really don't want to experience this again in any way."
Spider-Man was sprawled on a bus, muttering complaints, though despite his tattered clothes, he had no injuries.
Boom! Boom!—
The sound of a heavy object hitting the ground echoed, and a figure four to five meters tall gradually approached Spider-Man.
"You really have a death wish, little bug, trying to stop me again."
The Lizard Devil's vertical pupils scanned the area, his tail, thicker than a bucket, swung back and forth, and the red scales on his body gleamed with a cold light.
Whoosh!—
Spider-Man shot out a web, covering the Lizard Devil's eyes, then pulled the web, rocketing out of the bus at an incredibly fast speed, kicking the Lizard Devil before landing steadily.
"Listen, big lizard, nobody here wants to become a monster like you!" Spider-Man shouted, pointing at the Lizard Devil.
The Lizard Devil tore off the web from his face, chuckled, and said, "This isn't becoming a monster, it's evolution! What's so good about humans? Didn't you also abandon the frail human body and embrace the abilities of a spider?"
"That's not…" Spider-Man was about to retort when he was interrupted by rock music.
The red and gold Iron Man Suit landed with a crash, as Iron Man, Tony Stark, made a dazzling entrance, his missile bay opening and the suit's system locking onto the Lizard Devil.
"I don't care how tough an animal's body is, I only know that I can enjoy everything in this World, not crawl around in dark, damp places."
"Tony Stark." The Lizard Devil had just spoken his name when he saw several miniature missiles flying towards him.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The missiles exploded on the Lizard Devil's face, the force of the blast raising clouds of dust.
"Mr. Stark?" Spider-Man asked.
"That's me, kid." Tony smiled confidently, "Watch me roast this guy into a shish kebab!"
The next moment, countless missiles launched from the Iron Man Suit's legs and shoulders, accompanied by palm repulsor blasts, as all sorts of weapons bombarded the Lizard Devil.
"Is that all you've got, Tony Stark?!" The Lizard Devil's roar came from within the explosion, as he advanced through Stark's barrage.
"I can do a lot more, you ground chicken."
Before Tony could finish, the Iron Man Suit's foot thrusters propelled him into the sky.
"Didn't you just say lizards were evolved? How come you can't catch me, a normal human in a suit?" Tony Stark relentlessly taunted the Lizard Devil.
"I won't let you join our kind." A hint of murderous intent flashed in the Lizard Devil's eyes. "I'm going to tear you to shreds!"
"Oh, I'm so scared~" Tony mocked with a deliberate drawl.
"Sir, our weapons may not be able to penetrate his defenses. This monster's defense can withstand all the weapons on this armor," Jarvis reported to Tony.
Hearing this, Tony said nonchalantly, "I know, Jarvis, I'm just helping someone stall him."
"Sir, are you referring to…?" Jarvis had just finished speaking when a flash of Fire pierced through New York City and arrived at their location.
A Fire as bright as the Sun attacked the Lizard Devil, who instinctively threw a punch to block.
Boom!—
With a roar, a wave of heat spread outwards, melting metal within a thirty-meter radius.
"Sir, an abnormal temperature has been detected in your vicinity," Jarvis reminded him.
Hearing this, Tony's mouth twitched. "Looks like he got new gear again. Jarvis, switch to riot control tranquilizer rounds. We'll handle crowd control."
"Understood, sir." Jarvis replied while switching equipment. "Tranquilizer ammunition is ready for you."
At this moment, the flames on Eller's body slowly receded, eventually transforming back into the fiery scarf draped around his neck. Molten lava seemed to flow on his dark red armor, and flames erupted from his arm engine pipes, enhancing his punching power.
The Lizard Devil looked around, then asked Eller, "Why aren't you using that powerful gun of yours?"
"Are you still scared?" Eller retorted.
"I want to break that thing!" the Lizard Devil replied coldly, then mustered all his strength to force Eller back.
This strength is almost on par with a numerical monster like Abomination… Eller was slightly surprised by the sudden increase in the Lizard Devil's strength. He glided backward, Hellfire erupting from his feet to adjust his posture, then landed steadily.
Although he didn't understand why this Lizard monster's strength had suddenly increased so dramatically, Eller wasn't afraid; in fact, he was even a little excited.
Just then, Tony suddenly activated his loudspeaker and shouted to Eller, "There's a construction site two blocks away. I bought it. Lead him there to fight."
The area near the medical center wasn't suitable for a fight; too much damage would cause a bad impression.
Hearing this, Eller concentrated Hellfire at his feet and responded, "Just waiting for Young Master Stark to foot the bill!"
With that, Hellfire erupted from Eller's feet, greatly increasing his initial speed.
"So fast!" The Lizard Devil was slightly startled, his vertical pupils locking onto Eller's figure, barely managing to block Eller's attack with his palm.
Flames continuously scorched the Lizard Devil's palm. Eller gathered these flames and then detonated them.
Boom! The Hellfire exploded, blasting the Lizard Devil back a distance.
"Damned human!" The Lizard Devil roared, then raised his sharp claws and swung them at Eller.
"Come on, you disgusting reptile!"
Eller utilized his speed advantage, leading the Lizard Devil all the way into the construction site Tony had mentioned.
This construction site was very large, seemingly intended for a huge shopping mall.
Continuous loud bangs echoed from within the construction site. The Lizard Devil picked up an I-beam and hurled it at Eller.
Seeing this, Eller flung a ball of Hellfire, melting the I-beam, then, with a burst of Fire, rapidly closed in on the Lizard Devil. A punch, gathering all of Eller's strength, landed heavily on the Lizard Devil's shoulder, breaking the monster's bones, and causing ripples to appear on his scales, which were hard enough to withstand a Magnum Tactical Blast.
It was only at this moment that the Lizard Devil's composure wavered for the first time, and a hint of fear appeared in his questioning voice.
"Who exactly are you?!"
"Just a passing Kamen Rider." Eller had wanted to say this for a long time. He stood on the scaffolding above the Lizard Devil, twisting the Inferno Booster Buckle's throttle as he spoke.
