"I'm Shinta... Shinta Batsa, do I know you?" the boy asked. Shinta did recognize Yura from the moment he saw her, but he denied it, haunted by the past.
Yura was the girl he had saved from lunatics who drugged her and tried to harass her. The moment Shinta noticed, he did everything he could to rescue her, bringing her back to his humble home. That was six months ago. He had cared for her for weeks as she suffered the severe effects of the drugs. He nursed her back to health, both mentally and physically, feeding her nutritious meals and talking to her, trying to break through her emotionless facade. Even though his meager budget was barely enough for one, he cooked for her, often eating unhealthy food himself.
Days turned into weeks, and Yura's emotional state gradually improved. The emotionless face transformed into one that radiated a bright smile. But one night, uninvited guests arrived—men in black, searching for the girl named "Yura." He tried to hide her, thinking they were the ones who had tried to harm her.
But then the intruders showed pictures of him and Yura. These men were the rescue team assigned to bring Yura home.
Chaos erupted. Yura woke up, terrified by the horrible things they were doing to Shinta, until one of the rescuers knocked her unconscious to calm her down.
Meanwhile, Shinta was interrogated by Nathan, the family's butler, who tortured him, demanding information: who were the kidnappers, who was the mastermind, what were their future plans?
Of course, Shinta couldn't answer. All he knew was that she had been captured; he knew nothing of her background. He had only saved her. The men in black concluded that he was hiding information about his allies, and they began to beat him, trying to squeeze out the truth. But in the end, they learned nothing.
Hours passed. Finally, defeated, they tossed him to the ground and set his wooden shack ablaze, leaving him inside.
After Yura awoke, she was taken to her room, where her father held her hand. He treasured her deeply after her mother died in childbirth, and he would do anything to protect her and destroy those who tried to harm her. Upon learning of the kidnapping, he flew into a rage, wasting no time in using all his connections and power to find her.
The moment she regained her senses, she embraced him, a long-awaited reunion. Her father wept, holding her tight, and Yura cried with him, feeling as though decades had passed.
Later, at dinner, Yura asked about the boy who had been with her. Her father replied, "He's been taken care of, so don't worry." Hearing this, Yura felt a jolt of electricity through her spine, her whole body trembling. She demanded he repeat himself. Upon hearing it again, Yura flew into a rage and demanded a search mission for him. She told her father the real story, and he and Nathan were consumed by guilt and depression, haunted by their actions.
Her father launched a search for the boy, but after five months of fruitless searching, they found no sign of him being alive. They stopped the search, but Yura refused to give up, continuing her streaming. She hoped he might find her on social media. But Yura couldn't forgive her father and the butler for what had happened until they found him.
Months passed, but she clung to a hope she couldn't see. Then, that hope materialized beside him—a person covered in scars, with kind eyes carrying many burdens, but still smiling.
And Yura introduced herself as Yura Ganas, hoping to connect with him. Unable to contain her excitement, she blurted out, "Can you go out with me?"
