Even with her hands and feet bound, Wendy still had the means to attack. She was a Sky Dragon Slayer, feeding on the very atmosphere around her.
She inhaled air from every direction into her small mouth, then expelled it with a roar that echoed like a dragon!
Boom!
A raging storm erupted, instantly engulfing the gushing flames. The wind fanned the fire, fueling it further.
Wendy's roar merged with the storm, transforming into a tornado of fire and wind that struck the Sky Knight Shura and his Sanzhang Bird, who were turned backward mid-flight.
"Nani?!" Sky Knight Shura's voice cracked in shock. He had never expected such a move. It was already too late to evade. The flaming tornado engulfed him and his mount.
"Wahaha! You deserved that! I told you all along… this is Fairy Tail you're facing!" Morgans laughed heartily.
"Sky Mistress!"
"This is the power of a Sky Dragon Slayer!"
"Just like the president… strong enough to face dragons!"
Nami, Vivi, and Robin murmured in awe.
Watching from above, another figure was equally shocked: Ganfur, the former god of Sky Island and current Sky Knight.
Earlier, while resting in the land beyond the clouds, he had noticed the battle on the Island of Gods. Riding his Pegasus Pierre, he had arrived in time to witness the unforgettable scene: the girl he had rescued just days ago now roaring and taking down a Sky Knight whom even he had failed to defeat.
"Is this really the Wendy I knew?" he muttered to himself.
"Hey! That's a Pegasus rider over there! Old man, are you one of Enel's subordinates?" Morgans shouted, still flapping furiously.
"No, no, he is Lord Gan, not an enemy!" Wendy quickly called out, waving her hands.
Soon, Wendy and Ganfur landed on the deck of Fairy Tail, one after the other.
"President! I did it~" Wendy said, stepping forward happily.
"Thanks for your hard work," Sugisawa Yuuto replied with a smile, patting Wendy's head with his large hand.
"Hey-hey," Wendy's face lit up with joy.
"By the way, President, this is Lord Gan I mentioned. When I didn't know what to do, he took me in! Lord Gan, this is my president, Sugisawa Yuuto, and our Fairy Tail partners!" Wendy introduced quickly.
"My Wendy… you've been well taken care of," Yuuto said approvingly.
"No, no, I didn't do much," Ganfur waved, then turned solemn.
"Wendy and her friends, let me guide you—leave Sky Island as soon as possible!" Ganfur urged.
"Leave? Why?" Erza asked.
"You've defeated Priest Shura. Enel will not forgive this. If you leave now, there might still be a chance!" Ganfur replied anxiously.
"But we were planning to defeat Enel!" Nami protested.
Ganfur froze, stunned. A moment later, after learning from Wendy that they had accepted Sandia's commission to confront Enel, his eyes widened in shock.
"Enel… his power has already surpassed human limits… you really…"
"Perhaps Enel is strong, but we will surpass him," Robin said calmly, earning nods of approval from the girls.
After a moment of hesitation, Ganfur chose to trust them.
"Then I have a request!" Ganfur fell to one knee before Yuuto. "I am the former god of Sky Island. Because of my incompetence, my subordinates were enslaved by Enel. Please… save them!"
"We at Fairy Tail don't beg," Yuuto said with a smile. "Instead of kneeling, why not formalize this with a power of attorney?"
Mira handed over the documents promptly. Ganfur took them, writing under Wendy's guidance.
Commission entrusted and established!
"Ganfur, former god, your commission is received. Come with us!" Fairy Tail took off, weaving toward the forested depths of the island.
Soon, they arrived at a strange area, filled with countless spherical clouds.
"What… is this? Spherical clouds?" Vivi asked, curiosity shining in her eyes as she reached toward one.
"Do not touch!" Ganfur's expression turned grave as he shouted a warning.
But it was too late. Vivi's fingers brushed the ball-shaped cloud.
Boom!
A grotesque toy burst from the cloud, sending Vivi stumbling backward onto the deck.
"Phew…" Ganfur exhaled in relief. "We have entered Priest Shadley's territory. These phantom ball clouds contain all sorts of hidden weapons. Touching them randomly could trigger explosions."
Hearing this, Nami quickly withdrew her hand.
"Haha! Why not try it? It's fun! Let's see what comes out!" Shadley, now bloated into a ball-like form, appeared with a Dragon of the Ball Cloud looming behind him. The ball clouds, containing gunpowder, were linked in a chain—touch one, and all could explode.
"Since you mentioned it, I'll try," Robin said with a sly smile.
Shadley froze. Really? A fool!
Next moment, the impossible happened. Robin waved her plain hand lightly. From an old tree, a massive wooden hand sprouted, sweeping the ball clouds toward Shadley.
"All for you!" Robin smiled, gesturing.
Ding~ The first ball ignited, followed by…
Boom!
Rumble!
A chain of tremendous explosions rocked the forest. Mori Daigo Shadley defeated!
