Chapter 273 - Chapter 273

Hidden Navy Headquarters — Above the Battlefield

All eyes were fixed on the two titans—Big Mom Charlotte Linlin and Kaido of the Beasts, the twin Emperors of the Sea.

Everyone waited with bated breath for their response.

Would the two emperors truly join forces under the resurrected Overlord's command?

If they accepted Rokkusu's call… and if Sugisawa Yuuto, the leader of Fairy Tail, declared the past forgotten—

Then…

Every powerhouse on the seas would stand beneath Fairy Tail's banner.

Even the World Government, with its eight centuries of dominance, would be powerless to resist.

The overthrow of both the Marines and the World Government existed now only in the mind of one man—

Sugisawa Yuuto.

"Jiehahahaha! Linlin! Kaido! What's wrong? Didn't you hear Captain Rokkusu order you to go and apologize?"

The Golden Lion Shiki bellowed with laughter, his voice echoing over the shattered landscape.

But neither Kaido nor Big Mom spared him a glance.

The two exchanged a knowing look—

and then, simultaneously, they began to laugh.

"Well, well, well…"

"Oooooooooooo!!!"

Their laughter rolled like thunder, shaking the heavens.

Two immense auras erupted outward—raw, overwhelming dominance that blanketed the battlefield.

It was the aura of emperors. The aura that ruled the seas.

"Kaido! Linlin! What do you mean by this?" Shiki snapped, his tone rising. "Captain Rokkusu stands before you! Do you intend to rebel?!"

"Shut your mouth, Shiki!" Big Mom barked, her eyes burning with fury. "Do you think we're as pathetic as you?"

"Oi," Kaido growled, his gaze sharp as a blade. "Captain Rokkusu died thirty-six years ago. There's no way he's still alive. The man standing there is nothing more than a puppet—one created by that bastard from Fairy Tail. The real Rokkusu would never serve another!"

"Well said, Kaido," Big Mom sneered, folding her massive arms. "And even if that is the real Rokkusu… so what? The times have changed! The age of Rocks D. Jebeku is long gone!"

"That's right!"

"Mother speaks the truth!"

"The old era of Rokkusu is over!"

"My lord, the world has changed!"

Her ministers—Perospero, Oven, Daifuku, and the others—voiced their support, shouting in unison.

"And besides," one of them added with scorn, "how could the dead truly return to life? Roger, Rokkusu—it's all the same lie! Fakes, created to deceive us!"

"Exactly! Cheap illusions meant to fool the world!"

"Counterfeits!"

Their jeers filled the air.

But then—

BOOM!!!

A suffocating pressure exploded outward, swallowing every voice.

An unfathomable Conqueror's Spirit swept across the battlefield like a storm unleashed from the abyss.

In an instant, every one of Big Mom's officers froze—

their faces twisting in shock and terror.

"Linlin," came a low, rasping growl.

"Your children… are far too noisy."

Rokkusu D. Jebeku, the Overlord of the Sea, cracked his neck with a sharp twist.

"So what if you're the real thing?" Kaido roared, gripping his iron mace with one massive hand. "This is our era now! Whether it's me or Linlin—we don't belong to you anymore!"

Rokkusu's grin widened, savage and gleaming.

"Is that so, Kaido? Then let's find out…"

His voice turned cold.

"Show me how much you've grown."

A surge of demonic Haki—so dense it seemed alive—burst from Rokkusu's body, sweeping toward the towering beast-man.

Kaido gritted his teeth, his veins bulging.

"Don't think I'm still the rookie who once sailed under you! I am Kaido of the Beasts—strongest creature across sea, land, and sky!"

With a deafening roar, Kaido unleashed his own Conqueror's Spirit.

The collision of their wills split the heavens.

Scarlet and black lightning crackled through the air—

a storm of pure power where two kings' spirits clashed.

Under the crushing force of their Haki, countless weaker soldiers—Marines, pirates, and shinobi alike—

collapsed instantly, foaming at the mouth.

The battlefield fell into chaos once more.

In the blink of an eye, both titans vanished from sight.

Then—

BOOM!

RUMBLE!

Two massive explosions tore through the sky.

Rokkusu and Kaido reappeared in midair—

one with his bare fist raised,

the other swinging his iron club down with monstrous force.

Their blows collided with a sound like the world breaking apart.

BOOM!!!

The very heavens split open, lightning raining down from the cracks above.

And so began the battle between the Overlord of the past—

and the strongest creature of the new era.
