After sending Henry off, I tried to go back to sleep. I expected this night to be calmer compared to the previous one. But I was proven wrong when loud noises started to go off even before I opened my eyes. People were fighting not too far away from the shop, and I pulled my covers over my head.
The night ended with me being half-asleep and half-awake, and I pushed my tired body out of the bed and toward the washroom. A good shower woke me right up, but it was not able to bring down the pain in my body.
'I wonder how the kids slept.'
I was worried about those kids, but I clearly had no reason to. Because when those kids did come down, they looked refreshed, and their eyes held no sign of sleep. Even Fenrir looked to have slept well.
