----------
Not long after, Nara Shikaku carried two people up the city wall, one in each hand.
It was the Fourth Raikage and Killer Bee, both unconscious.
A jinchuriki, a Raikage!
Yet at this moment, they were like dead dogs.
Everyone's heart couldn't help but twitch.
Shin said casually, "Hang them both outside the city wall."
This, however, stunned everyone present.
Hang them out?
"My lord, this..." Nara Shikaku hesitated slightly.
"What?" Shin glanced at him. "Do we still need to be merciful to enemies?"
"If Konoha were the losing side, what do you think they would do?"
"Go do it."
"Yes, my lord!"
Minato no longer hesitated and immediately ordered two Anbu members forward.
Soon, two strong ropes bound A and Killer Bee, slowly lowering them from the one hundred meter high city wall.
The two figures hung there in mid-air, swaying gently with the wind.
This scene was extremely powerful.
"Minato." Shin looked at Minato, whose expression was complicated. "Later, it will be up to you."
"Me?" Minato was puzzled.
"You are Konoha's Hokage, representing Konoha's face." Shin said. "Go tell them, either surrender, or they can collect the bodies of their Raikage and jinchuriki."
"Remember, we are the victors."
Minato understood instantly.
This was the daimyo giving him a stage.
A stage to declare victory to the enemy as Hokage.
However, the builder of this stage was the ruler beside him.
He took a deep breath and nodded seriously.
"I understand, my lord!"
Time passed by the minute.
Everyone stood at the edge of the city wall, looking at the western horizon.
Finally, at the end of their vision, a black line appeared.
That black line quickly thickened, and a fierce killing intent, even from far away, rushed toward them.
"They're here!"
A sensory shinobi gave a warning.
Closer.
Even closer.
When this Kumogakure unit of nearly one thousand people rushed to the base of the giant wall, they were all stunned by the sight before them and stopped in their tracks.
They all looked up, dumbfounded.
"What... what is this?"
Mabui, who was leading the team, had a face full of shock beneath her long golden hair.
The intelligence report hadn't mentioned Konoha having such a city wall!
Her heart was filled with worry.
Too quiet.
No alarms.
No shinobi standing ready.
Only gazes cast down from above, carrying a kind of... pity?
"Something's wrong!"
"It's too quiet!"
"Where is the Raikage and the others? Did the attack fail?"
The crowd began to stir.
Just then, Minato stepped forward.
The Fourth Hokage?
His appearance made all the Kumogakure shinobi tighten their weapons, and their chakra began to surge.
Mabui's heart sank.
The Hokage appearing here, instead of commanding the battle in the village.
This alone explained too many problems.
"People of Kumogakure." Minato's voice rang out across the entire battlefield.
"In the name of Konoha's Hokage, I give you one last chance."
As his words fell, two figures, bound by ropes, slowly rose from the city wall behind him.
The moment they clearly saw those two people, Kumogakure instantly burst into chaos!
"That... that's... the Raikage!"
"And Bee-sama!"
"How could this be?!"
"Impossible! This is a genjutsu! It must be Konoha's genjutsu!"
Countless Kumogakure shinobi roared in disbelief, their emotions spiraling out of control.
Their unbeatable symbols, the pride of Kumogakure, the AB duo!
Now they were being hung on the city wall in such a shameful way!
"This is not a genjutsu."
Mabui's body trembled, but she made a rational judgment.
She stared hard at the two figures, at their familiar chakra and faint vital signs.
It was real!
The Raikage and Bee had been defeated!
This realization sent a chill through her body.
Three thousand elites, plus the Raikage and a perfect jinchuriki, defeated so quickly?
What exactly happened?
"Lay down your weapons and kneel in surrender." Minato's voice rang out again. "Otherwise, those two will die now."
A threat!
An open threat!
Using the lives of their leaders!
"Bastard!"
"If you have the guts, kill us!"
"For the glory of Kumogakure! Let's fight them!"
The young shinobi roared, about to charge forward.
"Stop all of you!"
Mabui sharply ordered them to halt.
She looked up, meeting Minato's gaze. "Hokage, what do you want?"
"I've made it very clear." Minato said without expression. "Surrender, and they will not die."
"Do you think we'll believe you?" A Kumogakure shinobi stepped forward, his eyes red as he screamed.
"Yes, we can't trust them!"
Minato fell silent. Facing the roars of the Kumogakure shinobi, he was at a loss for what to do for a moment.
Seeing this scene, Shin couldn't help but smile.
Naive.
He picked up his teacup and took a sip.
Then, with a flick of his finger, he aimed at the hanging A.
Whoosh!
A powerful gust of wind shot out.
It instantly struck A's intact left arm.
"Ah!"
A scream burst from the unconscious Raikage's mouth!
He suddenly woke up, and the intense pain made him struggle wildly in mid-air!
This scream instantly silenced the Kumogakure shinobi!
They saw it very clearly. The Raikage's left arm hung limply.
It was broken!
"Who is it!"
"Who did it!"
Mabui frantically demanded, but only saw Minato's equally stunned face.
On the city wall, Shin slowly put down his teacup, took two steps forward, and his figure appeared in the Kumogakure shinobi's line of sight.
He looked at Minato, speaking in a tone of disappointment. "I gave you a chance, but you were useless!"
Then, ignoring the ashamed Minato, he turned to the Kumogakure shinobi. "It seems you have problems with the previous offer."
"In that case, I'll change my approach."
"I'll count to three."
"After three, for every person still standing, I will remove a bone from the Raikage's body."
"Starting from the foot."
"One."
The entire scene was silent.
All the Kumogakure shinobi felt nothing but raging anger.
Who was this man?
"Two."
Shin's voice was empty of any emotion.
Time stretched out at this moment.
Mabui's heart was in an internal struggle.
Surrender?
This would be an immense shame for Kumogakure!
Don't surrender?
The Raikage and Bee would be publicly executed!
The shinobi behind her were also waiting.
Waiting for her command.
"Three."
The final number was spoken.
"It seems your Raikage is not very beloved!" Saying this, Shin's hand moved again.
Another gust of wind!
"Crack!"
A clear sound of bone breaking.
A, suspended in mid-air, suddenly arched his body, then let out a shriek even more painful than before!
"Ah ah ah ah!"
His left leg was twisted in an unnatural position, clearly broken!
This scene became the straw that broke the camel's back.
