Fara went around the shelter searching for any hint of Jason, he was no where to be seen, she asked the people around the streets, all answers led her to the ocean, right beside the sea, she reached him by nightfall
He sat there, his gaze stretched towards the horizon, she wanted to reach forward to him but a hand from behind tapped her shoulder
Its was old man Vonir, Sarom's teacher, as well as the children's
"Mister Vonir?" said Fara "What are you doing here?"
"I can't possibly start my class with a messing student" he said walking forward with a torch in hand and a crutch in the other "You can go, I will take care of it from here" she left in hesitation
Vonir pushed his way through, his head was half empty of hair, he got a couple red strands with grey dominating it, his wrinkled face pushed his eyes to be half closed, those grey eyes of his that showed him to be a blind person, although he managed to see his way through
Jason noticed him coming, but did not care to look back
"It is indeed cold in here little bird" said Vonir, Jason did not answer
Vonir trying to push on a conversation said
"There is blood on your hand, I guess it is true that you hit the chief"
Jason's hand was half hidden behind the other so he said
"I thought you were blind"
"Oh yes, my eyes are indeed defective" said old man Vonir "But my sight is not, I can see far more then I ever did"
"Can you see beyond the sea?" asked Jason staring forward into the reflection of the moon
"Sadly no, although I managed to see that night, the fire, the laughing" said Vonir
Jason was shocked, he stared u at the old man not believing what he just heard
"I guess you haven't told anyone "Said Vonir
"How, how did you know," said Jason
"You know my position in the camp is not a mere teacher" said Vonir, with his eyes he pointed to the back
In the dark guard holding a long sharp spear alongside a shield stood beside the trees
Vonir smiled at Jason and continued "But sadly, I can't tell you much more, for its wont end with little flames"
"I thought you were going to offer me such weird powers in exchange for me stopping this, child's play," said Jason
"Such things only happen in fantasy stories" replied Vonir
He stood silent for a moment before looking down at Jason, he spoke saying
"You are afraid, but from what" said Vonir
"I guess you are not merely blind, but deaf too," said Jason
"Fire, is not your fear, Jason" said Vonir
"Did your sight tell you that," said Jason
"Sadly, it doesn't reach that far" said Vonir
"Then what is?" said Jason
"You need to know that" said Vonir
"Well, you're expecting too much, I am good with how many fears I have, I rather not add another," said Jason
"A bird who prefers the comfort of the branch rather than the sky's, is wingless no matter how free he thinks of himself" said Vonir
"If you wish to continue like this, I wont force you to anything, but know that if you do not join class, it shall be a matter of time before they force you to the wall"
"There you won't have any escape from the fire" said Vonir as he walked back
The children filled the class, same ones who were being thought by Ramo, each had a seat of their own awaiting Vonir
"So, well your friend be joining the class?" a boy asked Doryon
"Oh Jason? I am sure he will," replied Doryon
"I mean, it was quite horrifying, the chief almost brunt his face up, not to forget his relationship with the fire already," said the boy
"He will be fine don't worry—" Doryon was cut by Seryon before he finished his speech
"He needs to get over it already, it is not like he was harmed or anything, he better hope he doesn't pay for hurting the chief" said Seryon
"And what about your relation ship with dogs did you get over it?" said Doryon, everybody else was confused, But Seryon's face changed instantly
"You—" Seryon was cut before completing his words
"Good evening children" said Vonir the old man
He went to his seat facing the class, Jason went inside a moment after him followed by the personal guard of Vonir
"My children tonight's class shall be quite short, and sadly it is the last" said Vonir
"What?" said Seryon "Why is that?"
"The current status of the shelter won't allow me to spread my wings anymore" said Vonir "Now, todays lecture shall be on the first envision that happened hundreds of years ago"
Doryon raised his hand
"Yes Doryon?" said Vonir
"How long exactly?" said Doryon
"Well, it is not really know, such things were lost amidst the war, but most say it has been at least 300 years" replied Vonir

In the outside, mysterious figures started their move, robes of black stepped behind the guards unnoticed, there wasn't many, only 4 of them
"So? when will it happen?" asked one of them
"We don't exactly know, but from what had happened today, it won't be longer than a week," said another
"We do need to fasten it up, taking longer might have others involved, we might lose everything we worked for" said a third
"It won't matter" a fourth spoke, he seemed to be their leader for they all faced him silently the moment he spoke "Even if others are to join us, they won't make a difference, we've been searching for it for years already"
"You know father is impatient, the only reason he hadn't sent any else, is because he trusts you most, "said the third
"And he shall continue to do so, I am messaging him with each passing day, he doesn't seem to be thinking of a move," said the leader
"He can't, the Varish are too strong for him at the moment" said the second
"That is why we need to find it, each passing day is in their favour—" the leader saw a light coming there was
"For now, move out and stay hidden," said their leader
A guard whistled as he walked forward, he walked by that dark street, seeing nobody there he went his way
In the tent, the chief sat in the dark his eyes reflected the only source of light there is, a little torch, it almost reached its end, he looked forward as his leg shacked over and over, stress accumulated with each passing moment
Just the torch's flames sank into the remains, putting it off for good
