Chapter 20 - The Ten Knights And The Wish Maker (part 2)

Part 2: The Encounter Between the Wish Maker and the Rulers

Somewhere unknown, a figure flew across the sky. Dressed entirely in black, his clothing flapped violently in the wind. His hood concealed his face, leaving no part of him visible. He floated effortlessly in the military-style stance, gliding through the night air.

Suddenly, he stopped mid-flight and hovered cautiously. He had sensed that several followers were tracking him—ten individuals whose energy was unusually strong.

"Ten against one? That's hardly fair." — the black-clad figure muttered.

Before he finished speaking, ten figures appeared around him from the air itself, as if they had been invisible until now.

"Rules of Space… to find users here is something I never expected," the man said in astonishment.

The ten figures all wore shining armor that emitted light even in the darkness. Each carried a shining sword. Their leader spoke:

"After five years of searching, we've found the Black Man—also known as the Wish Maker. Come quietly, or we have orders to kill you."

Deadly energy radiated from all ten of them, but the leader's energy was the strongest. The black figure remained silent. After a long moment of tense silence, the Wish Maker finally spoke:

"So, the Ruler of Space wants me dead."

Hearing this, the ten leaders were taken aback. One thought: "How many in this world would know our master just by seeing us? Our master must be curious about him—alive or dead. I've heard that the Wish Maker grants three wishes to chosen ones, but I feel no energy from him. He's like our master… can we really obey our master's order?"

The ten knights, surrounding the black figure, were silent. The man then broke the silence:

"I don't know how you found me. But I suggest you leave. The Ruler of Space himself is not my rival."

Fear appeared on the faces of the ten, as the black figure's energy suddenly filled the sky with an ominous aura. The leader said:

"We are the Knights of Space. We never act outside our master's orders."

Though afraid, the ten did not lose their spirit. They prepared for battle. Just then, a brilliant light descended from the sky, forming a space gate. Five figures emerged—three men and two women. The ten knights smiled, recognizing one of the five as their master: the Ruler of Space. A dazzling aura radiated from all five.

The Wish Maker, surprised, said:

"This is a rare moment—I can see five Rulers together: Ruler of Space, Ruler of Fire, Ruler of Water, Ruler of Forest, and Ruler of Poison."

The five Rulers were shocked. Though the Wish Maker knew their identities, they knew nothing of his origins.

"Wish Maker, we don't know who you are. But the King of Destiny has ordered us to learn your origin. For that, you must surrender to us. We want you to submit willingly." — Ruler of Fire.

From behind, the Ruler of Space instructed his ten knights:

"Move far away. A dangerous battle is about to begin here."

The knights obeyed, keeping a safe distance. Though they wanted to fight, they understood the importance of the five Rulers being present together.

"I didn't want trouble, but it seems some Rulers have come to catch me. Who knows what will happen? Here's an offer—defeat me, and I'll grant you three wishes."

A smile spread across the Wish Maker's face. Everyone else swallowed nervously. A fierce battle was about to erupt.
