Chapter 565 - Chapter 563: Fight! (10)

Seeing Fenric and the others, Thanos frowned.

After the unpleasant experience of encountering the Saiyans earlier, now facing another group of strangers made Thanos instinctively vigilant.

Yes.

Strangers!

In the Samsara Tower dungeon, Fenric, Aurora, and the others had all seen Thanos before.

However, in this dungeon, Thanos's memory did not include Fenric or Aurora.

"Father, should we leave?" Nebula asked quietly from behind Thanos.

Thanos looked deeply at Fenric and the others opposite him, then glanced at the two daughters beside him. After thinking for a moment, he slowly spoke.

"No. We will do nothing."

He could see that Fenric and his group were extremely cautious. They were far less impulsive than the Saiyans they had encountered earlier.

Caution meant the other side was not reckless.

In Thanos's view, there was a chance the opposing group might choose to retreat on their own.

Besides, Thanos was a cosmic overlord and the ruler of an army.

As a king, he could not do something like running away without a fight.

Therefore, Thanos decided to stand his ground and hand the initiative to the group on the opposite side.

"Shura, what should we do now?"

Although Aurora asked the question in a whisper, her eyes remained locked firmly on Thanos.

During the third stage of the Avengers dungeon, she had fought against Thanos before and knew how terrifying this purple potato truly was.

Encountering him here, Aurora did not dare to be careless.

Seeing how seriously Aurora regarded him, one of the Samsaras behind her couldn't help asking curiously,

"Commander, is that purple monster in front of us really that powerful?"

Aurora nodded.

"He is the main mission target of the third stage of the Avengers dungeon. He is extremely strong."

"According to the strength evaluation system of the Samsara Tower, he is at least S-rank."

"..."

The Samsara soldier who asked the question immediately fell silent.

Aurora then suggested,

"Shura, Thanos doesn't seem to intend to fight. Should we leave first?"

This was her cautious approach.

She had personally witnessed Thanos's terrifying power.

Because of that experience, Aurora did not want to fight him unless absolutely necessary.

Fenric suddenly said,

"Aurora, have you noticed that Thanos has clear signs of battle on his body? Even parts of his armor are damaged."

"And his subordinates are almost nowhere to be seen."

Aurora looked carefully at Thanos again.

Sure enough, although Thanos still appeared imposing, there was a faint exhaustion and weakness about him.

Before Aurora could ask further, Fenric continued,

"He is injured."

"And not lightly."

"The most important point is… he doesn't have the Infinity Stones."

Fenric's tone carried a subtle meaning.

"A Thanos without the Infinity Stones isn't actually that terrifying."

Fenric had every right to say this.

Even though his abilities were currently sealed, his basic attributes alone were enough for him to compete with Thanos without the Infinity Stones.

Hearing this, Aurora's eyes flashed with light.

"Shura, what do you mean?"

"This is an opportunity."

"A chance to kill Thanos."

Fenric said slowly,

"This dungeon follows a Battle Royale model."

"Although the system's mission doesn't force us to kill anyone and we could theoretically hide until the end, I don't think the system's intentions are that simple."

Aurora thought for only a moment before taking a deep breath.

"Shura, I trust your judgment."

The other Samsaras behind them also spoke up.

"So do we!"

"Great God Shura, we'll follow your lead."

"Your orders will be carried out without question!"

Clearly, everyone trusted the legendary Shura who had repeatedly created miracles.

With the support of his teammates, Fenric's gaze became even more resolute.

"Aurora, you and I will deal with Thanos together."

"The two of them are yours. Don't let them escape."

Fenric lowered his voice and issued instructions.

"We'll slowly move closer first. Wait for my signal before attacking."

"But once the fight begins, finish it quickly."

"Understood!"

Everyone responded quietly.

After the plan was set,

Fenric took the lead and began approaching Thanos.

The others followed closely behind him.

The movements of Fenric and his group immediately alerted Thanos and his companions.

Watching Fenric slowly approach, Thanos frowned deeply.

"Father?"

Gamora stepped closer behind him, her expression uneasy.

"They seem to have bad intentions. Should we retreat?"

Hearing this, Thanos sighed quietly.

Trapped in this strange place, where could they even run?

Even if they avoided this group, they might soon run into another.

Rather than exhausting themselves running endlessly, it was better to break through directly.

Moreover, the pride of a cosmic conqueror made Thanos unwilling to flee.

"Gamora, Nebula, my children… go."

"I'll buy you some time."

"Father?!"

Nebula looked shocked.

She could hardly believe that the usually cold-blooded Thanos would say such words.

Thanos ignored Nebula's reaction and simply stared into the distance, as if lost in thought.

Nebula wanted to leave but didn't dare.

She feared it might be a trap.

Perhaps Thanos was deliberately testing her loyalty.

In Nebula's mind, if she really left, Thanos might attack her from behind and kill her immediately.

Thinking this, Nebula quickly declared,

"Father, I will always remain loyal to you!"

Seeing this, Gamora could only try to comfort the situation.

"Maybe they're just here to ask for information."

As she spoke,

Fenric and the others were already approaching, gradually surrounding the trio of Thanos.

Clearly, this was no friendly meeting.

Thanos glanced at Fenric, Aurora, and the others, a faint smile appearing on his weathered face.

"You want my head?"

"Are you ready to pay for it with your blood?"

Fenric remained calm and wasted no words.

He gave a single low command.

"Attack!"

The moment the word fell,

Fenric rushed toward Thanos.

Aurora followed immediately behind him.

The others also moved, surrounding Nebula and Gamora.

"Whoosh!"

The sound of air splitting rang out.

Fenric's fist shot directly toward Thanos's chest.

Facing Fenric's attack, Thanos did not dodge.

Instead, he also threw a punch straight toward Fenric's face.

A direct exchange of blows.

"Boom!"

Both Fenric and Thanos stepped backward.

Each had taken a punch from the other.

On the surface, they appeared evenly matched.

However, Fenric had actually gained the advantage, because Thanos was already injured.

At his peak, Thanos possessed enough raw strength to overpower and defeat Hulk.

Staring at Fenric, a hint of shock appeared in Thanos's eyes.

He had not expected that the seemingly small human before him possessed such terrifying strength.

It was no weaker than the Saiyan monster he had encountered earlier!

What angered Thanos the most was his terrible luck.

Since arriving on this island, the two groups of people he had encountered were both monsters!

This was an unfair battle!
