Chapter 6 - Chapter 4

"So.. can you go back to your body?" Viola asked.

"I.. I probably can.. my magic is special so I can.. I can break through the void which is a little dark room I designed to hide in and reintegrate back to my body.." Viola's eyes gleamed upon hearing that and a smile with evil intent slowly bloomed on her lips that made Violet shiver with fear..

"..." Little dark room? Viola speechlessly looked at Violet but didn't bother to ask.

"Shh.. don't be afraid... Say... Can your body house two souls?" Viola asked, her soft low voice tempting the innocent little fawn like a devil.. Violet trembled.. nodding hesitantly...

"C..can.." Viola's face broke out into an evil grin upon hearing that and she moved closer to the innocent girl, leaning close...

"Then.. go back and bring me with you.. hmm? If they ask.. let's just say I'm a double personality you developed with the trauma of your 'death'. If you agree... I will help you avenge yourself from those who harmed you.. how about it?" Viola continued to tempt.. her voice whispered enticingly on the timid girl's ear, her eyes closely watching her reaction.. seeing the hesitation in her eyes.. Viola knew she had her where she want her to be.

"Don't you want those people who called you a villainess.. a monster to regret it?" Viola continued to entice like a devil that she is..

"I will do the revenge for you... And you.. you will be responsible for watching and enjoying life.. how about it? I will fight your battles and you just sit back and relax.." Violet wavered.. thinking of the possiblity. After all.. it is indeed easy to explain Viola as a double personality if anyone asked about her changes... She, Violet is naturally timid and doesn't even dare to use her magic for fear of hurting others . But if Viola was there... Then .. then she would no longer have to cower from those who bully her... Slowly, Violet's eyes lit up and Viola's evil grin widened..

"O..okay... I will... I will take you back..." Violet said, her eyes full of determination after giving it some thought...

"Good girl... Treat me as a big sister sharing the same body from now on." Says Viola who completely doesn't mind having a new sister.

"I..okay.. "Violet beamed and Viola smiled at her, patting her head..

"Well.. let's go now. " Viola said her eyes gleaming evilly as Violet nodded, once again condensing that orb or darkness that grew bigger in size until the void could no longer contain it. Like a fragile glass, the void shattered and Viola felt herself get pulled somewhere by a huge suction force. Caught be surprise, Viola was sucked along with Violet.

Viola and Violet tumbled through the collapsing void like two whirlwinds caught in a chaotic storm, and then—BAM!—they landed, disoriented, inside Violet's fragile, pale body. For a moment everything stopped. Then a faint shiver ran down their shared spine, sparking the uneasy awareness that only *one* of them could take control of the body at a time.

Viola's sharp senses immediately scanned their surroundings: a small, pastel-adorned room filled with lace curtains, delicate trinkets, and an air of timid innocence. Violet was already in the body, blinking uncertainly and clutching her chest as if trying to settle her nerves. Viola hovered at the edge of consciousness, a sardonic bystander watching the scene unfold.

"Well… how do you feel?" Viola's voice echoed in the back of their shared mind, dripping with amusement.

Violet swallowed hard, cheeks flushed. "I… I guess okay? A little dizzy, maybe?"

Viola snorted silently, enjoying the dizzy little lamb's discomfort. Meanwhile, Violet tried tentatively to summon her magic, fingers trembling as she willed a flicker of light to bloom between her palms. But nothing happened. No glow, no shimmer—just a stubborn void of empty air.

"Uhh… nothing?" Violet whispered aloud, eyes wide with panic.

Viola smirked inside, eyes narrowing. "Well, well. Looks like someone lost all their magic. Starting from *zero*." Her internal voice was a mix of mockery and intrigue, but she stayed out of control—for now. "That's… actually hilarious."

Violet's lips quivered. "I think when I died, my magic just… evaporated or something. They say magic disappears when souls get all screwed up in the void. Guess I was lucky."

"What a perfect cliche," Viola mused to herself, still lurking inside as a silent spectator. "A fragile, magic-less villainess to babysit. This is going to be a riot."

Violet bit her lip nervously but decided to push forward. "So… I have to start over, right? Train from scratch?"

Viola's amusement deepened. "Exactly. Magical rehab, sweetheart. That means tiny sparks, pathetic little light shows, and a whole lot of failed attempts before you're not a sitting duck."

"Well, it sounds sort of… fun?" Violet asked, tentative hope flickering in her voice.

"You don't have a choice." Viola's voice was playful but edged with cold amusement. "I'm in your head whether you like it or not. I get to watch the circus—and maybe crash the party when it's fun."

Just then, their shared body's cat, an unimpressed calico named Whiskers, padded in like he owned the place. Viola suppressed a chuckle, watching him with the detached interest of a ghostly onlooker. "Ah, our first test subject," Viola whispered inside Violet's mind. "Try not to mess this up."

Violet shot a nervous glance at Whiskers, raising her hands cautiously to conjure a faint orb of light over the cat's tail. The orb sputtered to life briefly, then flickered out.

Whiskers gave them a look of utter contempt and flicked his tail.

"Practically a magic prodigy compared to you," Viola quipped silently, enjoying the show as Violet struggled but refused to give up.

Violet's concentration deepened; a tiny spark suddenly popped into existence, dancing precariously at the tip of Whiskers' tail. The cat's eyes widened in surprise, and for a moment, Violet beamed with pride.

"Hey… did you just do that?" she whispered, stunned.

Viola leaned back inside the mental void, smirking. "Looks like you're alive after all. I'm honestly impressed."

From the sidelines, Viola watched the small victories and humiliating setbacks with a thrill she hadn't felt in a long time. While Violet controlled the body, navigating the world with uncertainty and hope, Viola stayed inside—an amused ghost passenger, waiting for the moment to strike or offer a sardonic comment.

"Next step?" Violet asked aloud, her timid voice full of uncertain excitement.

Viola's disembodied voice smirked, "We crank it up—slowly. Sparkles, sparks, and maybe a little controlled chaos. But remember, you're still the lead actress. I'm just here to enjoy the show."

The cozy silence was broken by Whiskers' sarcastic meow, as if mocking their magical misadventures.

Viola chuckled internally. "This body-sharing gig is going to be a blast."
