Chapter 15 - Silent Touch

Masal opened her eyes, the morning light in the room was hitting her face. Bartu was still lying next to her, his hair slightly disheveled, a sleepy smile on the corner of his lips. Masal silently shifted to the side and leaned his head on Bartu's shoulder.

Bartu opened his eyes occasionally, when he saw Masal, he nodded slightly and said in a low voice: - "Good morning." A slight smile appeared on the corners of his lips: - "Good morning," she whispered, her voice still sleepy but calm. Bartu leaned into his side, stroking Masal's hair. Masal moved her head on his chest, both of them looking at each other in silence.

There was only their breath and light touch; there was no need for words. Masal made a move to get out of bed, but Bartu grabbed her by the arm and held her underneath him. A small scream involuntarily escaped Masal's mouth. Bartu brought his lips close to her ear and whispered: - "You are so beautiful." As Masal widened her eyes and looked at him, Bartu, without a moment's pause, pressed his lips to Masal's.

The kiss was short but passionate; Their breaths mingled, their hearts pounding. Masal wrapped her arms around Bartu's neck, and Bartu gently pulled her closer. At that moment, there was only their gazes, their breaths, and each other's touch in the room; there was no need for words. After this passionate moment that lasted a few seconds, Masal gently pushed Bartu to the side and said with a sarcastic smile: - "Okay, Bartu, I'm hungry, let's get up." Bartu laughed lightly, curling his lips, nodding, and there was still a sweet smile in his eyes as he watched Masal.

After Masal got out of bed, Bartu followed her into the kitchen. They both started making breakfast together; Masal was toasting the bread while Bartu was preparing the coffee. Small touches and glances passed silently between them. Bartu was gently touching Masal's waist, and Masal was lightly bumping Bartu's arm as she lay down on the kitchen counter. - "Will the coffee be exactly as I want it?" Masal asked sarcastically, leaning lightly on Bartu's arm. "As long as you're with me, everything will be perfect," Bartu said with a smile.

After breakfast was ready, they sat at the small table in the kitchen. Masal took her bread, Bartu took a sip of his coffee, and the two looked at each other and smiled. Masal suddenly assumed a serious expression: "Bartu... I'm going to be late for work, I have to go," Bartu said, raising his head. Looking at Masal, he smiled slightly and moved his lips: "I'll drop you off," he said sweetly.

Masal bit his lips lightly and smiling: "Okay," he said with a slight gleam in his eyes. The two of them looked at each other as they finished breakfast, laughing silently and sharing the warmth of the morning.

The silence in the kitchen was filled only with the clicks of breakfast and each other's presence; the day had just begun, but the closeness between them took precedence over everything else.
