"My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined"
Yamcha slumped to the ground, his big reveal wasted on the simple Goku. Letting out an exasperated sigh as he stood back up, "It's like a car that can drive to other planets Goku."
"Oh! That's pretty cool"
"Yeah well, Bulma will think it's pretty incredible. Who knows what kind of crazy stuff she could make from this." After explaining he rummages through his capsule case to find an empty one before throwing it at the alien craft.
With a quick *poof* there is nothing left in its spot but a small capsule.
"Alright, now we head to West city."
After the quick trek back to Yamcha's car the strange trio departed, Yamcha and Puar in their plane and Goku on the flying Nimbus.

Bulma Briefs was not a happy woman. So much so that she had taken a break from her lab to get some fresh air. Her on again off again boyfriend had basically ditched her after the 23rd tournament. The romantic feelings she once held had withered, her now 23 year old mind had realized that her infatuation with the desert bandit had been childish. Still, he was a friend, and being ghosted for so long didn't feel great.
She could understand with Goku, it wasn't the first time the strange teenager had disappeared. Plus, he had just gotten married the last time they met, so she could understand if the young couple wanted to spend some private time together.
"Whatever, maybe I'll send a drone or something to Mt. Paozu to check in."
Just as she was making her way back inside she heard the sounds of an approaching plane. Looking up she was surprised to see the exact people she was just thinking about.
She easily recognized the vehicle she had left for Yamcha, even easier was the flying cloud with a man in orange sat cross legged on top of it.
"Yo Bulma!"
She could hear Goku yelling now and waving wildly, smiling just as dumbly as she remembered. A small, nostalgic smile graced her face as she threw up a hand in greeting as he leapt from the cloud and landed in front of her.
"Hey Goku, how's the married life treating you?" she inquired warmly, going in for a brief hug. He was her oldest friend after all, someone who'd saved her life countless times.
"It's great, Chi-Chi is an awesome cook, and she's so nice to me. She's way nicer than you were when we first met!"
A sharp smack landed on the back of his head as Bulma broke the hug.
"Still as tactless as ever I see…" she grumbled as the grinning Goku rubbed the back of his head,
"I swear he's starting to do this on purpose."
As she was about to ask about his visit, a sarcastic voice came out of the opened door of the now landed flying vehicle.
"Jeez, not even 30 seconds and you're already getting smacked."
Bulma's mood soured at this, she began marching towards the aircraft, intent on giving the desert bum a piece of her mind.
As he got out though her anger evaporated into worry.
Sensing the shift in her emotions Yamcha immediately interjected,
"My eyes are okay Bulma, but they are part of why we're here today."
She immediately swallowed her questions and began leading them inside.
"Man, I've never seen anyone get Bulma to be quiet so fast." Goku whispered to Puar who was floating along beside him. Not quietly enough it seemed, as he was promptly knocked to the ground by an aggravated Bulma.
"What was that?" Yamcha could only throw up his hands in surrender as Goku laughed, rubbing the top of his head as he rose. Even Puar couldn't mask the giggle that escaped his lips
"He's definitely doing this on purpose" Bulma sighed internally, bracing herself for a potentially long, very annoying day.

Yamcha was surprised. Since the merge he had some improved insights on reading people. He knew first hand that Goku was still a bit dense about a lot of things, a fact easily attributed to his solitary upbringing. But looking at him now, he was definitely playing it up a bit to tease Bulma.
" This is new, looks like his time with Chi-Chi matured him a bit." Indeed, there was definitely a hint of mirth in his grin as they followed Bulma
"Made him a bit mischievous too from the looks of it"
Before long they reached a huge laboratory. Machines and technology lined the walls, with a large open area next to a work bench of tools that neither men nor feline could identify.
"Well this is my lab, everything I've made over the years came from here." Bulma proudly showed off her highly advanced lab. "I've got anything I could need here. Equipment for biological and mechanical scans, medical equipment, a workshop for building new inventions, and the most advanced super computers you'll find. All right here." She listed off a few of the lab's features, almost smug in her presentation.
"I think if you keep going you may put Goku to sleep." He couldn't help but chuckle as said fighter yawned as he looked around, a bit bored.
The scientist deflated as she noticed Goku didn't seem to care about or understand anything she was talking about.
"At least I'm not the only one Goku has that effect on" Yamcha mused, remembering his own failed attempt at showing off earlier that day.
"Whatever," Bulma snapped, "Why did you need my help again?"
The atmosphere shifted as Yamcha immediately sobered up and filled everyone in on the strange events of the previous night.

"So you're saying that you merged with somebody else's soul who had memories of the past and future of our world, and that it gave you some of his unique powers?" The blue haired genius tried to sum up everything they had just heard.
"That's about the jist of it, yeah." He sighed, running his hand through his now straight hair. " And it's because of that, that I know there will be stronger foes in our future." Goku perked up at this. While he had been following along, nothing worried him too much about the situation. He was obviously still Yamcha, so his main concern for his friend was put to rest. The mention of strong foes though, scratched the fighting itch that had been building up since the 23rd tournament. It made him happy that what Master Roshi had told him still held true, there was always somebody stronger.
Smiling slightly at Goku's excitement, he reached into his pocket and pulled out the capsule that contained the space pod.
He walked over to the empty space near a workbench as he clicked the top of the capsule and threw it down.
"It's also how I knew how to find this." He explained.
With a *poof* of smoke the space pod was revealed. As if by a powerful magnet, Bulma was stuck to it immediately.
She had a small amount of experience with alien crafts from helping to repair the space patrolman Jaco's ship when she was younger. Sadly, she didn't have a chance to study it then, but now a new one had fallen directly into her lap.
"Is this what I think it is?" She asked Yamcha excitedly.
"As long as you think it's an alien spaceship, then yes." He lightly teased.
Bulma was too absorbed in inspecting the pod to take notice of his sarcasm.
"Hey," Goku interjected, "If this was an alien's, does that mean there is an alien on earth right now? Do you think he's strong?"
This made Bulma pause in her inspection. She remembered Jaco's description of the blood thirsty saiyan that was supposed to land on earth, and immediately began to get nervous.
"I do think he's pretty strong, in fact I think he might be the strongest person currently on the planet!"
Goku was practically vibrating. Sure he had a decent fight with Yamcha, but he was still suppressing a decent amount of strength.
Bulma on the other hand, influenced by Jaco, was mortified. They had only recently put the spectre of Demon King Piccolo to rest, and now some super strong alien threat was raising its head.
"Infact," Yamcha started, his very Neji like tone hiding his very Yamcha like pleasure at holding everyone's attention, "I even know what race they are, and the aliens name!"
Goku was in awe at his friend's knowledge, the scientist in the room was starting to get irritated at the showboating.
"Would you stop building suspense and get to the point!"
"Fine, fine." Yamcha finally relented. "The pod belongs to a saiyan. Saiyans are a warrior race with naturally stronger bodies than humans. They also have a few strange quirks in their biology"
The scientist was as interested as Goku now, bouncing on the balls of her feet. Between this information and the honest to Kami alien spaceship that she had been delivered, it was like Christmas had come early.
"Yes, due to the overwhelming physical energy inherent in the species, saiyan genes adapted some special traits." He was serious now, fully aware of the gravity of what he was about to reveal.
"The most striking of which is the ability to transform into a giant ape under the light of a full moon." At this Bulma's head snapped to the man in orange, who just looked confused at why he was being stared at.
"This transformation is made possible by the monkey like tail that all saiyans are born with"
Even Goku looked surprised now, grasping what Yamcha was implying.
"The name of the saiyan that this pod belongs to is Kakarot. Known on earth as the martial artist, Son Goku!"
