Chapter 29 - Chapter 29.Glaciers Rampage. II

Fifteen Hours Later — 3:00 PM

"I heard there will be a joint attack against the Dàxīyáng Kingdom."

"I heard that too… does anyone know the reason?"

"Hm… from what I heard, the Dàxīyáng broke the peace agreement and killed an Elder of the Phoenix Sect."

"What?! An Elder?!

Aren't all Phoenix Sect Elders Half-Step Mortal-Gods?!"

"No wonder the Sect Leader and several Peak

Mountain Elders have been in seclusion

for the past two months…"

"Stop talking nonsense!

Our Sect Leader is a genius!

Why would those fish-men scare him?!"

The discussion echoed casually among the

disciples of the Storm Blade Sect, laughter

and arrogance woven into their voices.

Then—

Cold air spilled from one disciple's mouth.

"Whoa… what was that?

Are you sick?"

The disciple turned, confused.

"What are you talking about?"

"Your breath… it's cold…"

The words trailed off.

Because at that moment, he noticed it too.

His own breath turned white.

And not just his.

One by one, disciples froze in place as

realization dawned.

The air had grown unnaturally cold.

Then—

Snow began to fall.

"…Snow?"

A disciple muttered while lifting his head.

"In summer?"

His puzzled gaze turned instantly into raw

terror.

"W-What…

WHAT IS THAT?!"

Above the Storm Blade Sect—

Glacier floated in the sky.

Like a colossal primordial entity, exuding

tremendous chilling energy, so dense it

distorted the air itself.

The scorching afternoon winds twisted

and screamed, transforming into a howling

frozen hurricane.

Inch by inch.

Brick by brick.

Buildings within a hundred-meter radius

began to freeze solid.

Walls crystallized.

Roofs turned white.

Courtyards vanished beneath frost.

Then—

Glacier spoke.

Her voice carried murderous, restrained rage,

echoing like a death sentence across the sect.

"People of the Storm Blade Sect…"

"The blood of the innocents massacred

by your leader has come to claim his life."

"Leave—

and you shall be spared."

"Stay—

AND SUFFER THE SAME WRATH."

As her words ended—

Within a radius exceeding a hundred meters,

containing pavilions, courtyards,

and training grounds—

One-third of the Storm Blade Sect froze solid.

Yet—

The people were unharmed.

As if it were a warning.

Then, in perfect synchronization with

the end of her declaration—

She plummeted downward.

Her landing shattered the ground into

fragments, releasing an immense

shockwave that sent disciples flying,

bodies tumbling like leaves in a storm.

"DON'T LISTEN TO HER NONSENSE!"

A voice shouted from deep within the crowd,

filled with arrogance and disdain.

"Someone capable of contending with our

Sect Leader and Elders hasn't been born yet!"

"When our Elders arrive, she'll wish she was

never born!"

The disciple grinned arrogantly at Glacier.

Glacier looked at him.

Only for a second.

Then—

BOOM.

A sonic explosion erupted.

She vanished.

And appeared behind him.

The man didn't even have time to scream.

His head and spine were ripped cleanly from

his body, dangling in Glacier's hand.

They froze instantly.

Even the blood droplets crystallized mid-air.

She clenched her fist—

And shattered it all into icy dust.

Panic erupted.

The crowd screamed, collided,

trampled one another, fleeing in all directions.

"WHO DARES?!"

A voice thundered forth, carrying

tremendous energy.

One by one—

Figures appeared with blinding speed.

The Elders of the Storm Blade Sect.

Six terrifying presences filled the sky,

their auras pressing down like mountains.

Then—

From the void between them—

A figure stepped forward.

Brork.

His presence alone drowned out the others.

Even the white-bearded elder beside him

paled as Brork's aura surged forth—

far more terrifying than the rest combined.

The frozen wind screamed.

Glacier hovered silently.

And the Storm Blade Sect trembled.

To Be Continued.
