GAAH!
GRAAGH!
Tap! Tap!
Tap! Tap! Tap! Tap!
The school filled with scary footsteps,
A brittle crack—CRASH!—and the windows burst apart.
They rushed toward the sound.
Students trembled in fear. Some of them was starting to think they were getting used to it…
But apart from a few, everyone was on the brink of collapsing again. Nothing was changed.
Haru was among them; he was waiting for Sensei's signal with lifeless eyes.
Taka was standing against the desk, listening to the chaos with complete calmness.
Feeling his gaze, Taka turned to him and smiled.
Haru averted his face and ignored the pink-haired boy, stared at the other guy who was responsible for all this.
His little body looked different to look at. He was holding the rod, trying not to catch the zombies' attention.
'Why this much change?'
He glanced at the bullies.
Other than Yuki, the remaining trio were in bad shape. Their bodies were shaking, and eyes looked hopeless.
'...'
Haru averted his gaze back to Sensei-Hue, waiting for her signal.
The plan was sloppy and risky, but if it were Haru, he would plan something exactly like this.
If the plan hadn't been Yuki's, Haru might have felt some bond with the planner… but in the end, it was Yuki.
The one who spilled water on his homework—the one who threw his schoolbag into the trash, and the one who… had bitten him.
Sensei-Hue's cold voice was heard. "Now."
Haru stopped thinking and started to carry the table with Taka.
Yuki was already a bad person, but now… he was also getting the support of the whole class.
Haru felt slight goosebumps at what Yuki might do to him with his new strength.
Order had collapsed, and there was nothing to stop Yuki from doing... bad things.
He was used to hardship and bullying. But still, he felt uneasy.
Out of nowhere, Yuki's pleading face came to his mind—he shook his head with confusion.
'Why always that...'
He stopped real this time, and focused on carrying the table with Taka.
Amid screams, students carried the tables to the door-side wall.
They tried to focus on their tasks and not think about those horrible sounds outside.

Drrrr!! Drrrrr!!! Drrrrr!!! Drrrr!!
Hrrgh!!
GRAAAGH!!
GAAAGH!!
Yuki secretly stared at the gathering zombies.
There was quite a crowd.
Yuki gulped as he smiled awkwardly. 'What a mess.'
They looked scarier when there were this many.
'I can hear the next class...'
Many of the zombies had fallen from the windows, but the remaining ones were piled up and looked like they weren't going to join the fallen ones.
'Haaah…
Yuki looked at the zombie filled class, then at Sensei-Hue.
"Enough?"
Yuki raised one of his hand with a helpless shrug. "Good enough."
While Yuki waited for alarm to stop, Sensei-Hue turned to the class. "Tie them tightly before the alarm stops."
The pre-chosen students nodded. It was mostly Taka's group doing this part.
While they started tying the vertical desks to the horizontal ones, the remaining students carried books and heavy objects onto the horizontal desks—they were making a wall.
As Yuki reconcile with his phone, Sensei-Hue sighed, "Do you have more plans for afterward this plan?"
Yuki paused for a moment. "No need to worry, Sensei.
We're already luckier than most."
Sensei-Hue glanced at him. "How so?"
'We have the protagonist.' Yuki thought with a slight smile on his heart, then pointed at the students. "We're still safe, and… we're not alone in a world like this."
"And? You have plans?"
"...I do."
Her hatred to world expression toned down a little bit, "Good."
She found their situation utterly infuriating.
The world had collapsed. The things outside were terrifying, and the torture-like screams were shaking her heart…
And it wasn't just the apocalypse—there were also twenty-one kids she had to look after while her mind exhausted itself thinking about her husband and family.
The only thing comforting herself right now was Yuki
.
Thanks to him, they had survived the arrival of the apocalypse. She wasn't sure why, but Yuki's plans sounded reasonable to her.
'I hope he don't die before me.'

The ringing sound was stopped, but because there was such a large crowd outside, their noises was enough to lure other zombies from Fei-Town.
Sensei-Hue turned away from the window and spoke to Yuki and Sui. "...Test the traps before we try them."
"Oh…" Yuki's mouth hung slightly open. "That's great advice, Sensei."
Sui nodded supportingly as her face was pale with worry.
'Gaahh… I should've been the one who thought this.' Yuki put the rod to Sensei's Table, "Then some of us can wear backpacks on their front and back and test the trap."
Koki's blue-haired friend raised his hand and waved it energetically. "Me, me! I want to volunteer."
The other tall friend instantly opposed him. "What? No way. You don't. Something might happen to you."
The other students didn't voice their opinions, as there already seemed to be volunteers.
The blue-haired boy ignored the tall boy. "I'm volunteering." He walked toward Yuki.
"Thank you, for volunteering." Yuki handed a bag to him.
"No, you won't—hey?! Don't you listen?"
Koki watched two of his friends with his pure, innocent eyes.
He tilted his head. "I can be a volunteer too."
"No!—"
"Shhh—! Be quiet." Yuki warned. "You three can be the volunteers. We'll take safety precautions. It's nothing dangerous."
"Okay." x2 — Koki and his blue-haired friend agreed without a second thought.
"Hey?? Koki, Yuu—hey!" The tall one couldn't believe his friends.
"Are you guys serious?"
The duo didn't listen at all, and backpacks started to be tied to their bodies by Yuki and Sui.
"…" The tall boy's face showed annoyance.
But still, "Hey, wait for me too." He followed them.
"You," he stared at Yuki, "are you sure? It's safe?"
While tying Yuu, Yuki responded, "N—"
Taka popped his head out from behind Yuki, holding Yuki's shoulders with a smile. "These bags are filled with books, Ruda-san."
Tap tap. He tapped the backpack tied to Yuu's front.
"—Oh, but if you're worried, you can join us to push the traps."
While they both talked back and forth. Yuki stared bitterly at the hands on his shoulders,
'...I want my old body back.'

The trio and Yuki stood near the door, in front of the wall-like trap made of desks.
"Chase after me, please."
Yuu and Koki raised their arms like zombies and slowly chased after Yuki.
"Sigh… really, guys." Ruda also raised his arms...
