How do I create a Frequency? Komaru was puzzled.
He forgot to ask Shizuku. If I go and ask her now, it will make me look like a fool.
I should be able to create one by trial and error. But what if the error is severe enough to harm me? Ah fuck it! Overthinking isn't gonna help.
With that resolve, he decided to test out some methods he had in mind.
I will have to think about a power, and then in my mind, I would have to imagine how it works. He thought of the power to open a pore in his right hand.
In his mind, he imagined a scene where by using energy in a shape of a screwdriver, he could open a pore in his right hand without any damage.
It is energy, so if I create a placebo that it won't damage my arm, it should work in theory. Lets try it.
With the remaining energy, he imagined the power once again, and the remaining energy was stored in his slot. He had created a Frequency.
Now gotta get a little bit more energy that I stored in my heart... He moved some more energy from his heart to his brain.
He then thought, Axiom would be 'usage of Frequency does not harm me.' As he finished, he felt a small part of energy disappear.
Then, he thought once again, Balancing axiom is 'Frequency only works for one time.' Once again, he felt the energy disappear.
It worked...I can now use the Frequency I created and move the slot to an object. He then thought about using his Frequency.
Suddenly, he felt a large hole being drilled in his hand, but he did not get damaged at all. But even if he did not get damaged, he still felt a throbbing pain in his right arm.
FUCK! It hurts.... He clutched his right arm, and placed it near the pen he brought.
He then controlled his slot and got it out of the hole. The slot was white in colour. It was a circular shaped disc with dazzling energy surrounding it.
He then willed the slot to merge with the pen. The slot submerged within the pen.
The hole in his arm automatically disappeared, and he felt a rush of energy entering his body.
The Frequency is destroyed. Even the Axioms associated with it were destroyed. He came to the conclusion after failing to locate his Frequency.
The slot had already left his body, so going by common sense, he shouldn't have been able to locate it.
But when he thought about the slot, he could feel it inside the pen. I guess I can still sense it since it is a part of me now....
I should be able to add Frequencies and axioms to this pen aswell. I am worried about my remaining energy though. It seems like only 70% is left. Assuming that creating a Chord and adding Axioms would eat up another 30%, I would have only 40% left. Should I create a Bank for defense? That way, I should be able to create an offensive ability for my pen and use it as a weapon.
At that moment, he realized something. He tried locating negative energy inside his body. After some time, he found it near his stomach, in the shape of a hammer.
Is this 'Echo'? Its in the form of a hammer... maybe it will hit my stomach once enough negative energy is accumulated? That should not be able to kill me, but it would be extremely painful.
He felt a chill run down his spine, and thought, I shouldn't overuse it, or else, I would have to bear the pain.
Now for this pen, I should think about a good ability. One of them could be that this pen's size can be controlled, granted that it doesn't become too big or too small. Now if I add another Frequency and create a Chord, it can be something having an electrical effect.
He then clasped his hands together, and said, "Alright, lets do this."
He thought about the first Frequency and imagined using it multiple times, before getting used to every detail required.
Then, he took some part of the energy and guided it towards the pen. Just as he expected, he was able to get the energy out of his body and make it merge with the pen.
It wouldn't have been possible had I not added a slot in the pen. Because now, I can guide the energy towards the slot, which serves as a part of me.
As he finished the process, he once again thought about creating a Frequency, and after a few moments, he felt the energy inside the pen disappear.
Good. The Frequency was created. Now I will repeat the process to create a Chord.
He once again did the same process, and thought about his Chord. It has to be something which is balanced, or else SBU will fuck me up...
He thought hard, and ultimately decided on what it should be. Right. If I create an ability where the pen can emit some electricity, and then add an Axiom to add a restriction, SBU won't do anything.
Then, he thought about the axiom, First, the axiom would be that the pen would be extremely durable.
The balancing axiom would be that the electricity only works when the pen is not in direct contact with my hand.
He felt a large part of his energy disappear, "Yes! The chord was created without any problem. I still have 40% left."
He then moved 10% of his energy near his hands, dividing it in two equal halves so that both hands have 5% each.
Then, he created an invisible thread in both hands, and made it get attached to the pen.
This is the Node system, but instead of a node, I have connected a pen to my hands.
Then, he used up another 20% of his energy to add two axioms to the thread, First axiom is that the thread cannot be seperated from the pen and my hands.
The balancing axiom is that my ability to feel pain is enhanced.
Then, he used the remaining energy to create a small bank for agility.
He could feel his body being lighter.
Lets try it out. He thought.
He picked the pen, and used the Frequency to increase the pen's size.
Immediately, the pen grew twice as large as him. This is the limit. Then, he used the Frequency to decrease the pen's size. It shrunk to be as small as his thumb.
He then threw the pen on the wall, and then used his Chord to generate electricity. With the pen not in his hands, the electricity was successfully generated. He could see blue sparks near the pen.
He then used his thread to yank the pen back to him. As soon as his hands touched the pen, the electricity disappeared.
This is amazing. I call this 'Electropen'. With this, I can easily beat someone who fails to dodge the pen. But I have exhausted all of my primal energy. There must be a way to get more.
He then decided one thing. I need more knowledge. I have to go to Blazenk city. That is where I will get a spot on the Leaderboard.
The Leaderboard is a system where people from the entire world, be it any race, are able to decide their combat prowess compared to the other people.
It is a way to decide who the strongest is. The way it worked was simple. Each country had its own arena, located in its capital city.
A person can officially challenge another person in a fight, and if they win, they will take their spot on the leaderboard.
Once I get a spot in the leaderboard, I should be able to get a basic understanding of what my fighting style would be. I need a fighting style that would suit me the best, preferably a fighting style involving long range combat.
My main goal is to perhaps get a high spot in the leaderboard, maybe top 1000? Nah, thats too low. Atleast top 50. Yeah, that should be my long term objective.
"Let's see what the current leaderboard looks like." He went towards a wooden desk placed near his bed, and picked his phone.
Opening the phone, he went on the internet and opened a website called 'Leaderboard.gra'.
It was a website created solely to get information about the leaderboard, and its standings. The .gra meant that this website's location was in Grazinas.
Komaru looked at the screen.

Damm. There's still nobody from the human race in the top 5.
There are a total of 8 races in the world, excluding the extinct ones and the Ancient Deities. They are humans, dragons, gods, elfs, dwarves, demons, entities and Dexter Margow.
The race you belonged to determined the amount of primal energy you received in the ritual. Although Caribela is called the Mother of Humanity, she still considers humans to be 4th rank when compared to the other races.
This was concluded when an experiment was carried out where one person from each race performed a ritual, excluding Dexter Margow, and their primal energy was measured.
It was shown that the person from the God race had received the most energy whereas the dwarves received the least.
The people from the God race were called so because they had the blood of Ancient dieties running in their veins.
Although the Ancient Deities did not care about such a thing, these people started calling themselves the 'Children of Gods' and hence over time they started calling themselves as Gods.
Well, I should be making preparations for my trip to Blazenk city. I should check my balance first.
Komaru then opened his account to view his balance, and the number he saw saddened him.
What the fuck? I only have 30 Pon left? I can only last for 3 months with this much.
Pon was the currency in Grazinas. It was divided into 3 denominations.
The lowest was called shulk, which had denominations of 1, 5 and 10.
20 shulks were called Trif, which had denominations of 5, 10 and 20.
100 trifs were called the Pon. It had the denominations of 10, 20, 50 and 100.
There are 1 and 5 shulk coins, which have king Chamelo III's potrait on them, which is also why he is called the King of money. Infact, it is believed that King Chamelo had powers related to money.
Hmmm...it will probably take 1 Pon to travel to Blazenk, and to prepare enough food and clothes for my travel, it will take roughly 5 Pon, so I would have 25 Pon left, but that wouldn't be enough for me, since I have to get stronger in the process.
Well, I still have time, so I should probably earn some more money. Maybe a job? But the fucking government does nothing for employment. I should ask Shizuku.
In Grazinas, employment was a big issue. The government, run by King Gerard, made little effort to imrove the issue.
Instead of creating more job opportunities, they create a fuckass system of high tax!
The tax system was especially rough in Grazinas. Unlike other countries, where the citizens did not get taxed on stuff like education and healthcare, Grazinas had a 11% tax on education and 13% tax on healthcare, which was even higher than taxes on some products.
This system benefitted the nobles the most. The nobles mostly consisted of people from God race and Dragon race, hence not only were they were allowed to take loans on extremely cheap interests, but they were also given regular fundings from fhe Government, which covered their own taxes.
