Chapter 25 - Chapter 25 Green is guessing the reason

Free Trade City, Governor Pentos's mansion.

The bright sunshine flows like water, and a few thin white clouds float slowly with the wind.

The future Mother of Dragons, Daenerys Targaryen, knelt in a corner of the bedroom, covering her body weakly with her delicate arms.

Upon arriving in Pentos, Governor Illyrio Mopatis presented Daenerys with a pale blue tulle dress. The dress was exquisitely crafted, beautiful and cool to wear, and Daenerys loved it.

Daenerys' favorite dress was torn into pieces by her only relative, her brother Viserys Targaryen, and scattered around.

Daenerys's thick silver hair was curled in a soft, tousled manner.

A pair of purple eyes, filled with crystal tears, were filled with sadness because of the sadness at the moment.

Her skin is as white as milk, and Daenerys, who is petite and stunningly beautiful, looks like an elf.

The maid rubbed her still very painful belly, stood up with difficulty, and picked up the blanket to wrap Daenerys with a look of reluctance.

Daenerys met the maid's gaze with eyes filled with sorrow. "Are you okay? I'm sorry. I was scared... I didn't dare to protect you, but you got hurt protecting me."

The maid shook her head and said soothingly, "Your Highness, I'm fine. Let me help you up."

Daenerys's brother, Viserys Targaryen, is the second son of Mad King Aerys II Targaryen and Queen Rhaella Targaryen. He calls himself Viserys III Targaryen.

After the War of the Usurper, the Targaryen survivor Viserys fled Westeros with his sister Daenerys, proclaiming himself King of Westeros. He visited various free trade states and sought help from allies while avoiding being hunted down. He was ignored and looked down upon, and was forced to sell even his mother's crown. As a result, he was given the insulting title of "Beggar King".

After selling his mother's crown, Viserys's temper became increasingly violent.

Daenerys misses the boy who told her stories of the Seven Kingdoms in her childhood and Viserys who described to her the wonderful life after ascending the throne.

Daenerys longs for the brother hidden deep in her memory to return to her side.

The day after receiving the Queen's letter of appointment, Green rarely put on bright silver plate armor and a blue cloak embroidered with the family crest.

Mondon Weishui, who was wearing full plate armor, carrying a large round shield and holding a war hammer, was the guard.

The gate guards of the Red Castle, several men in golden robes, saw Green's appointment letter and asked a few simple questions before letting them pass. Green and Monton entered the Red Castle smoothly.

There was no body search, and there was no need to remove weapons and hand them over to the gold-robed guards.

Baron Green's psychological assessment is that His Majesty Robert's Red Keep is a place without a sense of crisis.

Monton's eyes, which lacked wisdom, were now full of curiosity, looking around constantly.

Green was not in a hurry and slowly moved in the direction pointed by the man in the golden robe.

............

After walking for a while, a blond man in silver armor and a white robe quietly appeared in Green's sight.

The blond man was tall and handsome, with a pair of shining blue eyes.

Green guessed that this person was Jaime Lannister. When he first appeared, he felt a hint of murderous intent, but it disappeared very quickly.

Growing up in an environment full of dangers, and with his physical fitness improved after the time travel, Green keenly caught the fleeting murderous aura from James.

Green guessed the reason, and after thinking about it for a while, Green's face looked strange.

Green could only think of one answer.

Jealous? He wouldn't treat me like a gigolo, would he? The queen who came from afar?

Is this the so-called love-brain? I make a living by my hard work, there's no need for this!

Green was thinking, but his expression remained silent. He walked over naturally, touched his chest and saluted: "Good day, Your Excellency the White Knight?"

Jaime leaned on his sword and looked up and down at the handsome Green. His voice was filled with pride: "I am Jaime of the Kingsguard. Little wildling, are you Baron Green Crabbe?"

Green's expression remained calm: "It is me, Sir James."

Jaime raised his eyebrows. Tyrion's evaluation was indeed correct. He had a very mature mentality.

If it were an ordinary young person who had inherited the family, it would be normal to at least show some unhappiness at this time.

Although James was unhappy with Green, he had no interest in continuing to deliberately embarrass him. He said calmly, "Follow me, little baron."

Green thanked him, gave Monton a look, and took a step forward.

The naive Monton Weishui didn't understand what instructions Green's eyes had just given him, and it was not appropriate to ask at this time.

Monton Weishui scratched his head and touched the war hammer at his waist.

Do you want me to smash the head of that arrogant man in front of me?

Green noticed Monton's little movement, tilted his head and whispered, "Follow."

Oh, I was overthinking it!

Monton Weishui responded in a simple manner, followed Green, and continued to look around curiously.

Green naturally quickened his pace and walked shoulder to shoulder with James. "Sir James, may I ask, what exactly does the Queen's Affairs Officer do?"

Do I know you well?

Jaime squinted. "Didn't you ask Tyrion?"

Is Jaime jealous of Tyrion? A terrible brother complex?

Green guessed another reason why James showed murderous intent towards him before.

Green sighed. "I thought I was avoiding Lord Tyrion, but yesterday I discovered he was avoiding me too. We're both hurt and afraid of each other."

Jaime couldn't help laughing when he thought of Tyrion's haggard appearance. "Tyrion told me yesterday that he would never drink again in his life."

Green also smiled and said, "On the third day of my acquaintance with Sir Tyrion, I heard similar words from him, but they only worked for a short while."

"With Lord Tyrion's wisdom and eloquence, he will always find a better reason that you can't refuse."

Green's words were all praise for Tyrion, which made Jaime feel good.

In James's sight, Green's face was handsome and gentle, and it was hard not to have a good impression of him.

James, who had already started a pleasant conversation with Green, suddenly remembered something and his cold expression returned to normal.

Tsk, a tsundere guy?

Green, who has a "big picture", doesn't care about James's arrogance.

Let's talk about it later.
