Chapter 83 - Chapter 83 A few words before the release

It's going to be available tomorrow, so let's have a quick chat.

The conservative plan after launch is 4000-5000 words/day, the small goal is 6000-8000 words/day, and the big goal is… *cough*, I'll announce it later once I achieve the small goal.

Updates are usually around 10 PM.

The length of this book will be at least 1,000,000 words; the author guarantees the plot won't collapse and it won't lack excitement.

Well, the above mainly depends on subscription performance; the author's bottom line is quite flexible.

...

[I feel like I genuinely can't write fast]

Power struggles are indeed brain-intensive, and if not written well, they can be toxic… Sometimes I get stuck for a long time over a single line for a character.

Or, I write something and feel it doesn't fit the original character's traits, requiring multiple revisions, but this situation is gradually decreasing as the author becomes more familiar with each character's characteristics.

In short, what I want to express is that I want to write as meticulously as possible within my limited ability.

Also, a friend gave me a tip: when facing writer's block, I can choose to write more lighthearted scenes, which helps replenish inspiration.

I think that's a really good idea.

...

[Protagonist's Background Setting]

Before starting the book, the author spent a lot of thought on the protagonist's initial setting.

Most of the characters everyone knows or likes are in Westeros, so I directly gave up on Essos.

After much deliberation in Westeros, I finally chose Claw Isle, which has a tradition of loyalty to the Queen.

This allows for reasonable contact with the familiar Queen Cersei from the beginning, making it convenient to develop the protagonist's story.

...

The main surnames that appeared in the original work from Claw Isle are: Boggs Family, Brun Family, Keifer, Kleber Family, Hardy Family, and Payne Family.

After much consideration, the author felt that Kleber sounded good and had a bit more grandeur.

Furthermore, other families on Claw Isle at most produced one Kingsguard, while House Clebber produced three Kingsguard, and even had a legendary hero (Claw Isle), making it relatively prominent within Claw Isle.

Additionally, to ensure the reader's enjoyment, besides the protagonist's high intelligence, I gave him two less prominent cheats: one is unparalleled combat ability, and the other is the racial aura of Claw Isle.

Power struggles always require some process; this is so that the esteemed readers don't feel stifled. If you occasionally feel unhappy, just imagine flipping the table, and it won't affect your reading mood.

*Cough*, maintain a good mood while reading.

...

[Regarding Plot Development]

There are many strategists hidden among the readers of this book.

Ice and Fire always have many unexpected surprises, which is also part of its appeal.

Therefore, I also racked my brains to set up relevant plots, but there are always some readers who can deduce the Follow-up from the limited text.

Sometimes, seeing comments can surprise me, even making me suspect there's an internal spy at home, almost getting me beaten.

At first, I even thought about bypassing the decoded parts and resetting them… Later, I chose to lie flat.

I was worried about messing up the outline and causing the plot to collapse, so I lay flat and chose to add more content.

Author: Embrace the world, embrace capable people.

[Minor Spoilers]

In the outline, the protagonist will go to the Free Trade Cities of Essos twice, but the sections will not be long; the main plot will all take place in Westeros.

In the outline, the main characters of the Direwolf family are Sansa and a certain person.

In the outline, the protagonist and Duke Tywin will have many power struggles.

In the outline, the protagonist and Duke Stannis will…

In the outline, the protagonist and Littlefinger will have a love-hate relationship.

In the outline, Varys will be suppressed by the protagonist.

In the outline, the heroine will take shape in the middle stage; will it probably be a 'chasing her husband to the crematorium' scenario?

Samwell Tarly will become the protagonist's maester (this spoiler is quite something, right?).

That's all for now.

Hmm… Question: If the protagonist encounters three young dragons, given his personality, what do you think he would do?

See you tonight!
