Chapter 26 - Chapter- Cleanup

The next day, Rahul went to the company with all the shareholders. Alex was not present—he had become prey for NW‑14. Rahul took the main chair, and all the shareholders and high-level executives were completely flabbergasted. They had believed Rahul would die, and even Alex, a superhuman who had taken the Power Potion, had failed to kill him.

They now realized that the Nightwatchers were not just rumors—they were truly that powerful. They had witnessed Alex's strength, and yet he was gone, dead somewhere, and no one knew why. With this uneasy feeling hanging over them, the meeting began.

The meeting started. Rahul commanded, and two men stood up, locking the doors of the cabin. One by one, he began calling the names of those who had failed to step forward and take responsibility.

Those who heard their names felt as if their souls had left their bodies. Some wailed, some cried, and fear gripped them like a living shadow.

After finishing the cleanup from the meeting, Rahul called in two or three individuals who held high positions and displayed minimal corruption and basic decency. He decided to keep them—he could not remove all senior personnel at once. He asked them to provide names of people who could be promoted to replace the corrupt men, and they gave him a list.

Over the next two or three days, he spent his time in the company promoting those who deserved it and instructing them to work harder for the firm. Now everyone understood: this company was not to be trifled with. Many high-ranking officials had already fallen into a deep sleep—removed from power—and anyone who tried similar betrayals would meet the same fate.

After everything was done and dusted, Rahul spent almost a month removing the parasites from his company, promoting the right people, and getting the Eastern Sector back on track. Once the work there was complete, he left for his research center—the heart of his power—his biological research and industrial field, spread across hundreds of thousands of hectares. Here, he had begun planning a city entirely under his control, an enormous project set to begin the following year. For now, he focused on laying its foundations and finalizing the initial plans.

Rahul departed for the main company unaware of the ripple effects his actions had already caused across the world. His ruthless purge of corrupt high-level officials had sent shockwaves through other sectors. Many powerful individuals in rival companies had been shaken, scrambling to clean up their corruption or at least maintain basic decency in their work. After all, their pay was already generous, and they knew if they were removed—or worse, killed—they would be left crying with their eyes open.

Rahul reached back to his place and stand on the top of a mountain looked over the entire land he is lord of.

Rahul stood atop a small hill overlooking the vast expanse of his land. Hundreds of thousands of hectares stretched before him, waiting to be molded into a city that would bear his mark. This would not be just any city—it would be a fortress, a research hub, and an industrial powerhouse all in one. Every street, every building, every laboratory would serve a purpose, designed to maximize efficiency, security, and control.

He envisioned towering research complexes where the latest experiments would take place, with multiple containment layers to ensure nothing dangerous ever escaped. The industrial districts would hum with activity, producing everything his projects required—from biological reagents to machinery, all under his strict supervision. Living quarters for his workers and scientists would be optimized for productivity and loyalty, ensuring those under his command would be comfortable yet ever aware of his presence.

Security would be unmatched. Not a single shadow would be unmonitored. Surveillance, patrols, and specialized units—biologically enhanced, trained under his guidance—would ensure that any potential threat, internal or external, would be neutralized instantly. Every aspect of the city would be a reflection of Rahul's vision: order, power, and inevitability.

He imagined streets designed not just for humans but for the transport of his experimental creatures, secure corridors linking laboratories to containment facilities, and hidden passageways for swift movement of NW units. The city would grow as he grew, expanding with each new creation, each new discovery, until it became a monument to his ambition.

Rahul smiled faintly, a glimmer of that familiar ruthless satisfaction in his eyes. This city would be the foundation of his empire, the heart of his biological dominion, and the perfect stage for the next chapter of his experiments. Every decision, every structure, every plan was a step closer to his ultimate goal: creating the perfect organism, and in doing so, making humanity strong enough to survive—and thrive—in a world that had long underestimated it.

He looked at the project log submitted to him by the finest architecture he is able to get in human kingdom and provided them with best facility and resource for this grand project .

Rahul's City-Building Master Plan – 20-Year Log

Phase 1: Initial Planning & Survey (Year 1)

Conducted full survey of allocated 200,000+ hectares.

Identified zones for research, industrial production, residential quarters, and defense structures.

Secured supply lines for essential resources: water, raw materials, energy sources.

Built initial command center and secure living quarters for Rahul and core NW units.

Established perimeter surveillance using enhanced biological scouts.

Phase 2: Foundation & Core Infrastructure (Years 2-3)

Constructed main roads and transport arteries connecting future districts.

Laid foundational facilities for laboratories and storage warehouses.

Developed first containment units for experimental species (X-002 variants, NW units).

Initiated basic power grid using renewable energy enhanced with minor biological energy augmentations.

Phase 3: Research & Production Hubs (Years 4-6)

Built multiple high-security research complexes.

Established specialized laboratories for genetic, biochemical, and combat specimen studies.

Set up industrial manufacturing units for experimental reagents, containment systems, and medical supplies.

Hired and trained specialized personnel, including biologists, engineers, and NW supervisors.

Phase 4: Residential & Support Facilities (Years 5-7)

Constructed living quarters for scientists, laborers, and administrative staff.

Built training centers for NW units and biological security teams.

Set up medical and recreational facilities to maintain workforce loyalty and efficiency.

Implemented bio-security protocols to prevent accidental contamination.

Phase 5: Advanced Containment & NW Deployment Zones (Years 7-10)

Created advanced multi-layered containment for dangerous specimens (X-002, NW-14, NW-13).

Developed emergency neutralization units in case of containment breach.

Established NW deployment hubs for rapid response in and around the city.

Constructed observation towers and remote surveillance posts to monitor city perimeter.

Phase 6: Expansion & Industrial Automation (Years 10-13)

Expanded city limits by 50% to accommodate growing laboratories and industrial output.

Introduced automated systems for basic manufacturing, logistics, and monitoring.

Integrated biological augmentation into production facilities for efficiency (bioengineered workforce).

Began large-scale experiments requiring multiple containment zones.

Phase 7: Defensive Fortification & Biological Shielding (Years 13-15)

Built defensive fortifications around the city, including anti-intrusion measures and concealed NW units.

Established bio-shielding protocols to prevent spread of experimental pathogens outside the city.

Developed rapid evacuation and quarantine systems for high-risk areas.

Conducted simulation drills for internal and external threats.

Phase 8: Elite Research & Combat Units (Years 15-17)

Constructed top-tier laboratories for creating new species and enhancing NW combat capabilities.

Initiated creation of high-combat specimens, predators, and advanced X-002 variants.
