Chapter 24 - Chapter 24

The clones roared as their Rasengans fused into a single, monstrous sphere of churning energy.

The real Ryuuto bent his knees, then launched himself skyward like a missile. Thirty meters up, his body flipped, headfirst toward the earth. Fingers curled into a claw, he seized the colossal globe of spiraling chakra. The clones winked out, their purpose fulfilled. No wasted chakra.

"Double Rasengan, huh? …What a dumb name."A crooked grin tugged at his lips. "Whatever. Works for me."

The sphere wasn't just big—it was absurd. A hundred times larger than a standard Rasengan, a swirling planet of boiling chakra, compressed to a breaking point.

Once this thing cracks open… the rainforest becomes a crater.

Below, Magneto lifted his arms. Hundreds of metallic shards shot forward like bullets. He expected them to pierce the sphere, to shred Ryuuto midair.

Instead—grrkshhhh!

The instant metal touched the Rasengan, it was pulverized to dust. The rotation speed was beyond physics, a grinding mill of chakra that devoured everything.

Even the Master of Magnetism felt his throat tighten. "Impossible…"

He tried to twist the magnetic field, to seize control of Ryuuto's body—but the Rasengan's sheer turbulence distorted the space around it, throwing his precision into chaos.

"Retreat!" Magneto barked, a rare edge of panic breaking his composure.

Toad and Sabretooth froze. Mystique's eyes widened. Magneto… retreating? They didn't argue. All three bolted, scrambling westward.

Ryuuto sneered. Run all you want. Unless you move at light-speed, you're still eating this blast.

But even he knew he was in danger. His regeneration wasn't Hulk-tier. If the detonation swallowed him, there'd be nothing left.

Fine. Let's see if I can outsprint my own apocalypse.

With a grunt, he hurled the Double Rasengan down.

The impact dug a crater ten meters wide—then reality itself buckled.

Ryuuto hit the ground running, sprinting like a thunderbolt toward camp.

The detonation followed.

BOOOOOOM!!!

The explosion tore the rainforest apart. Shockwaves ripped outward like a god's wrath, flattening ancient trees, hurling stones like cannonballs. The air itself became a weapon, scattering earth in a storm of flying sand and shattered roots.

If seen from above, the rainforest collapsed in a ripple, like dominoes falling in every direction.

On a ridge, Natasha Romanoff's binoculars nearly slipped from her hands.

"…Exaggerated. This is beyond exaggerated…"

The Helicarrier wasn't calmer.

"Director!" Maria barked over alarms. "Energy detonation confirmed—calculating spread! Estimated impact zone: half the size of San Francisco! Total devastation in the core radius—no survivors. Secondary blast zone will still level structures and cause catastrophic casualties. In short—if Red Mirage wanted, he could wipe a city off the map. A country, even."

Someone muttered under their breath: "Scarier than Superman…"

Fury's jaw clenched. "Then we make damn sure he never becomes our enemy."

Maria nodded. "If we can't recruit him, at least keep him neutral. But never hostile."

[Ding! Mission complete. Target elimination confirmed: Toad, Sabretooth. Reward: Three Life Potions.]

Shion's teasing voice slipped into his ear.[Congratulations, Host. Try not to blow yourself up next time, though.]

"Yeah, thanks for the reminder, useless system." Ryuuto snapped back between gasps as he ran, sweat cold on his neck.

He glanced over his shoulder—Shockwaves still chasing him like a wall of death.

"...If I wasn't this fast," he muttered, "I'd have killed myself with my own damn move."
