Chapter 460 - Chapter 460

In the grand hall of Asgard, thunder rolled through golden pillars as Thor sat upon the throne, lightning curling around him like living serpents. His eyes blazed with power—wild, divine, and dangerous.

"I am the one true ruler of Asgard!" he roared. "Is there anyone left who doubts me?!"

Bolts cracked behind him, scorching the marble floor. Every god, guard, and servant dropped to their knees, trembling before the storm.

"Hail the God of Gods!"

"We swear our loyalty to Your Highness, Thor!"

The chamber echoed with desperate devotion. None dared defy him—not after he'd slain even his own father to seize the throne.

Thor sneered. "Pathetic. Even Loki's failed to kill that mortal brat, Ryuuto. Worthless snake."

Lightning flickered again, reflecting in his furious eyes. The air itself seemed to hold its breath.

For a long, tense moment, Thor said nothing—until he rose suddenly, gripping Mjolnir tight.

"Enough waiting. Prepare the army. We march for Midgard!" His voice boomed like thunder across realms. "I'll rip that boy's head off myself!"

The warriors of Asgard shouted in unison, armor clashing like drums of war. The Bifrost ignited, and a torrent of light descended toward Earth—toward New York City.

Meanwhile, chaos stirred below.

At S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters, alarms blared as sensors locked onto hundreds of energy signatures entering the atmosphere.

"Thor's leading an invasion force," a technician stammered.

Director Fury's jaw tightened. "Alert the Avengers. And get the X-Men on the line."

Every major organization on Earth—from S.H.I.E.L.D. to the Avengers, to the X-Men—knew what was coming. The sky was about to break open.

"Ryuuto, this is bad!" Professor Charles' voice cracked through the comms. "Thor's descending with an army! His target is New York!"

"Already here," Ryuuto replied flatly from behind him.

Charles turned, startled. The young man was standing in the doorway, red scarf fluttering like a flame.

"You... came faster than I expected," the Professor breathed.

Ryuuto smirked. "When a thunder god starts throwing tantrums, I make time."

Behind him, Jean Grey, Scott, Arlo, Bobby, and Steel filed in, ready for battle.

"He wants a rematch?" Ryuuto cracked his knuckles. "Fine. I'll teach him how mortals handle gods."

Bobby grinned. "Now that's the Red Mirage I know."

Charles handed him a tablet displaying incoming trajectories. "Thor's less than a hundred kilometers out. Tony Stark's already mobilizing. We'll need coordination—S.H.I.E.L.D., Avengers, and X-Men together."

"Good," Ryuuto said. "Let's hit him with everything we've got. Charles, you handle comms. I'll lead the strike team."

"Understood. Godspeed, Ryuuto."

The room erupted into motion—screens flickering, boots pounding, energy crackling in the air. The war for Earth had officially begun.

Far above, in the cold void between realms, two shadows watched the storm from a rift in space.

"Loki," murmured Quicksilver, a smirk tugging at his lips. "Still alive, I see. Guess betrayal runs in the family."

Loki's eyes narrowed. "Spare me your small talk, mutant. I'm not here to exchange pleasantries."

"Oh, don't be like that," Quicksilver said lazily, hands in his pockets. "Thor's making his big move. Maybe he'll wipe out those pesky X-Men for us—especially that brat, Ryuuto."

Loki said nothing, his face cold as stone. "You brought an entire squad, yet you hide them in the shadows. What do you want, Quicksilver?"

The mutant chuckled, snapping his fingers. From the darkness, silhouettes emerged—figures radiating power and hostility. They surrounded Loki like wolves closing in.

"Relax," Quicksilver said, flashing a grin. "We're allies, remember? Partners in chaos. I just want one thing."

"And that is?" Loki's tone dropped like a blade.

"The list," Quicksilver said softly. "The one with every mutant's true potential index. I hear you have it."

He extended a hand. His smile never reached his eyes.

Power hummed between them, two predators testing each other's patience.

Loki's gaze sharpened, a dangerous smirk forming. "You're playing a dangerous game, mutant."

"And you love dangerous games, don't you?"

The air split with tension, the void trembling as stormlight from Midgard reflected across Loki's face. Neither moved—but both were thinking the same thing.

When gods fall, devils rise.
