"Good. Then let's see just how mighty the so-called Captain of the X-Men really is!"
Magneto's voice was sharp as steel. Both hands rose, and every scrap of metal within sight trembled, then floated—forming a deadly halo around him. His mutant followers flared with power, their eyes locked on Ryuuto like wolves scenting blood.
Ryuuto rolled his neck, unimpressed. "You talk too much, old man. Let's make it quick."
Shadow Clone Technique!
Dozens—no, hundreds—of clones burst into existence, chakra rippling through the air. The battlefield lit up with mirrored red glows from a hundred sets of eyes. The tension snapped tight as Magneto's field met Ryuuto's storm of chakra, two forces pressing against each other until the very air quaked.
Ryuuto tossed Pyro's mangled corpse aside and lifted one finger lazily, grin sharp. He couldn't even pretend to take Magneto seriously.
[Ding! Mission complete. You've earned two Puzzle Shards: Uchiha Itachi.]
Nice. Two shards closer to greatness.
"So, Shion, what's next? Don't tell me I've got to wipe out the entire Brotherhood just to get your approval."
[Heh. Wrong, Master. Third mission: return to New York and assist Jane Foster with a "minor" problem regarding the Aether particles. Complete it fast and your reward multiplier increases!]
Ryuuto frowned. Aether? Don't tell me Jane's turned into a human bomb again…
Either way, no point wasting time here.
He exhaled slowly. "Guess it's time to leave before Gramps decides to start another war."
Magneto's eyes narrowed. "Thinking of running? Don't even try."
He thrust both arms forward. Massive chains of molten steel snapped into existence and lunged toward Ryuuto.
"Kill him! Tear that arrogant brat apart!"
"Let's see him smirk after this!"
Mutants flooded in from all sides—screaming, charging, powers flaring like fireworks. The ground shook under the assault.
Ryuuto smirked. "You guys really don't know when to quit."
Wood Style: Birth of the World of Trees!
Vast roots erupted from beneath the Brotherhood base, twisting through metal walls and shattering concrete. Trees tore upward in waves, swallowing the entire complex in seconds. Screams filled the air as the forest devoured their stronghold, turning Magneto's headquarters into a collapsing maze of roots and debris.
"Haha! Ryuuto! I knew you'd show up sooner or later! I've been dying to see you!"
The voice came from behind the wreckage. Deadpool burst from a hole in the wall, waving like an overexcited fanboy, eyes practically sparkling.
"...You again?" Ryuuto muttered, face twitching.
Before he could blink, Deadpool was sprinting toward him, arms wide. "Come on, Red Mirage! Hit me! Stab me! Break my spine! Make it personal!"
"Stay. Away. From me."
Ryuuto kicked him square in the chest with a Leaf Whirlwind. Deadpool flew through a wall, immediately healing and laughing like a lunatic.
"Do it again! This time go for the head! I can take it!"
Ryuuto rubbed his temple. "You're not cursed with immortality—you're cursed with stupidity."
Dust Release: Original World Disintegration!
A geometric field formed around Deadpool and shattered. His body disassembled into particles, vanishing completely. Ryuuto sighed. "Finally."
Behind him, Magneto roared in fury. Metal screamed through the air as he hurled entire walls toward Ryuuto, his power laced with rage.
"Enough games! You kill my people, destroy my base—and now you mock me?! Face judgment!"
Missiles joined the storm, their trails lighting up the night.
Ryuuto raised an eyebrow. "You really brought missiles? Cute."
He lifted one hand. "Sorry, but the young master's got better things to do."
Wind Style: Infinite Sandstorm Breakthrough!
A monstrous hurricane erupted around him, scattering metal and missiles like toys. The Brotherhood staggered under the pressure, thrown off their feet as the base disintegrated further.
Magneto gritted his teeth, straining against his own redirected missiles. "Damn you—!"
"Next time, Magneto," Ryuuto said, smirking as the winds engulfed him. "Try not to miss me too much."
The explosion that followed drowned out his laughter.
By the time the dust settled, the battlefield was silent. Magneto landed hard, glaring at the devastation—at the empty space where Ryuuto had been.
"He escaped..." His voice dropped into a deadly whisper. "That insolent brat escaped!"
No one dared reply. His lieutenants stood silent, trembling under the weight of his anger.
"Pathetic," Deadpool's voice suddenly chimed from a nearby rock. His head was somehow intact again, resting on his regrown body. "Can't even catch one guy with red highlights. Tragic, really."
"Shut. Up."
A metal plate slammed him flat into the ground.
Far away, under the cover of night, Ryuuto streaked across the sky like a crimson comet. His next mission was clear. Jane. Aether particles. Before it's too late.
