[System initialisation completed... functioning at 100% capacity.]
[Welcome Host to the Expert Trainer System!]
[This System is designed to help the Host become the best Trainer, allowing him to see a Pokémon's BST, Ability, Nature, IVs, and EVs. The System will also provide the Host with the most optimal training path for his Pokémon.]
[The System only works on Pokémon the Host has already bonded with. This is to avoid a case-scenario in which the Host only catches Pokémon with high base power.]
Alexis stood there in place, unable to process what he was seeing, for a couple second. Fortunately, he was quick to tame his mind and school his features, apologising for getting lost in his thoughts. He quickly excused himself by saying he just got overwhelmed by the emotions of the moment—both becoming a Trainer and catching his first Pokémon were memories nobody ever forgot.
After that they went through a few more formalities, mostly Professor Ñire asking them if they swore to not abuse Pokémon and treat them like companions, as well as Sayen explaining some of the laws, common rules, and major regulations Trainers were subjected to as official members of the Pokémon League Association. Nothing that Alexis or Alicia didn't already know.
Looking at the pair of Professor and assistant, Alexis couldn't help but marvel at how common some tropes were that they happened in real life. After all, Professor Ñire gave off the warm, grandfatherly figure vibes, while Sayen was clearly the more serious, no-nonsense younger assistant.
Unfortunately, while he really wanted to stay and chat with them for a bit longer, Professor Ñire had other matters to attend to. After saying their goodbyes, Sayen saw them out of the lab. There, Alexis saw his family talking to another group of people which, from their appearance, he assumed where Alicia's own family.
"Hey, look at this guys," he said to his parents, flashing his brand-new Trainer ID, a smug grin on his face.
His parents quickly rushed to him, hugging him and congratulating him. Just a few steps away, a similar scene was taking place with Alicia and her family. Once things calmed down, Alicia and Alexis approached each other to talk about their plans.
"So, where are you headed after this?" Alicia asked, wanting to know exactly what Alexis's plans were now that he was officially a Trainer.
"I'll head to the Pokémon General Store and but some supplies I will need," Alexis explained before grabbing his phone and looking at the map. "And then I will spend the night here before starting the trip towards Neuquén City. There's a Gym there, and I plan to challenge it after using the trip to train."
"Oh, so you're already going to start your trip?" Alicia asked, surprised he was so prepared.
"Yup... I've been prepared for a long time now." Alexis answered calmly. "What about you?"
"I'll head back home and prepare a bit more," Alicia told him. She shyly tucked a strand of hair behind her ear before continuing. "Then I am going to take a plane north, and start my trip from Salta towards the south."
"Maybe we'll meet in the middle," Alexis teased. "Who knows?"
After the short exchange, the new Trainers bid their goodbyes and joined their families, each one going their separate ways to continue celebrating.
That day Alexis celebrated with his family into the evening, parting in tears of bitter joy. They wouldn't see each other in a long time, but it was something that couldn't be avoided since the moment Earth and the Pokémon world merged. Now alone and in the middle of Bariloche City, Alexis walked confidently towards the Pokémon General Store, were he spent 2,000P on a tent and other camping gear he would need, as well as some supplies, and a bag of Pokémon food.
From there he walked towards the Pokémon Center, which had a free lodging for Trainers on a first come, first served basis. Fortunately, he was the only Trainer currently in the shared room, so Alexis was left to his own.
"I can finally check that thing out," Alexis muttered as he stared at Eevee, thinking of its stats. Then, as if in a video game, a semi-transparent screen appeared in front of him.
[Eevee]

[Provide best training program?]
Seeing the information shared by the System, Alexis could not help but open his mouth wide in shock. While he had already read what its function was before, he still was left unable to react. The most shocking part was, apart from its existence itself, the question left after the stat screen. With a single thought, Alexis focused and wished to see the training program.
[Focus on Speed and Sp. Attack, since those are the Stats with the highest potential. Besides, Eevee seems to have high compatibility with the Ghost type, so it would be good to train its Curse and maybe train it to learn Shadow Ball.]
[In order to properly train it is recommended to...]
Alexis opened his eyes in surprise when he read the training method given by the System, which included making Eevee run in sprints, train weighted, and focus on energy manipulation to increase its special attack. Something else that he found quite surprising was the fact that his Eevee knew Curse, which it could only learn as an inherited Egg Move. While weird, it wasn't anything otherworldly. After all, Red's Espeon had a mean Shadow Ball, even when it was not its speciality.
Amidst his thoughts, something popped up in Alexis's mind. The System allowed him to see Stats as well as IVs and other things, but he was now in the real world, not in the Pokémon games. Then...
'System, can potential be increased, and are Stats directly correlated to the real world?' Alexis asked the System in his mind, checking if it would answer him and solve his doubts.
[The Stats shown are just for the Host to be able to understand with ease his Pokémon's potential. While they do correlate to the real world, past a certain point they will no longer be a reliable representation of the Host's Pokémon's power.]
"Interesting," Alexis muttered as he read the answer. Overall, the Expert Trainer System seemed to be nothing but a very reliable tool during the early training of his Pokémon.
"What is?" A voice asked from the entrance to the room.
Alexis quickly lifted his gaze from the screen, afraid the unknown person could also see it. Seeing the person show no reaction, he relaxed, patting Eevee as a nervous reflex. The new cohabitant of the room seemed to be a young man, seemingly Alexis's age. He had tanned skin, straight black hair tied in a man-bun, a slimmer build than Alexis, and was wearing burgundy trousers, a black shirt, and had glasses.
"Sorry, didn't mean to intrude like that," the person apologised. "Nurse Joy didn't tell me there was already someone in the room."
"Ah, don't worry, please." Alexis answered, waving a hand in front of his body. "I'm Alexis, and you?"
"I'm Thiago," the young man said as he approached Alexis with a hand stretched in front of him, "Thiago McKenna."
"Pleasure," Alexis said courteously, his manners intact. "So, what brings you here?"
"I just became a trainer recently," Thiago started explaining before showing Alexis a case with one badge in it, "and I came towards the south to challenge the Bariloche Gym to get my second badge."
"Cool! I just became a Trainer earlier today," Alexis commented, showing Thiago his just issued Trainer ID.
"Nice, congratulations man!" Thiago honestly congratulated Alexis. Then he looked at him with a slightly mischievous shine in his eyes, a lop-sided smile making its way through his face. "Listen, want to use the arena out the back to have your first official battle?"
Alexis contemplated on it for a moment before looking at Eevee, silently asking for its opinion. The small Pokémon jumped off his lap and stood firmly, looking at Thiago with challenge in its eyes.
Smirking, Alexis looked at Thiago with the same confident grin.
"Sure."
