In an instant, Lin Zhan's vision went dark — and then blinding light filled his eyes.
A fierce gust of wind slammed against his face.
"Damn—!"
He realized too late that he was falling from mid-air. Below stretched a vast sea of green — an endless forest swaying like waves. But before he hit the ground, space rippled faintly beneath his feet. A thin, translucent platform formed under him, holding him steady.
He exhaled slowly. "Good thing it's me. Anyone else would've been a pancake by now."
Most warriors could only fly after reaching the certain high level, but Lin Zhan's control over space allowed him to cheat gravity. As Space and wind talent are only give power to soar in sky before that, like a cheat.
He hovered a few meters above the treetops, eyes scanning the wilderness below.
The forest was alive — birds shrieked, branches cracked, and every so often, a deep roar echoed through the thick air.
"This place… feels different." His tone was quiet, yet his lips curved in a small smile. "Time to see what kind of beasts they've got here."
He hadn't even taken ten steps through the sky before something moved below. A black blur darted between the trees, and moments later — it burst out.
It was the size of a leopard, sleek and graceful, its fur dark as ink and its vertical pupils glowing a faint orange.
The creature's claws gleamed like blades, still wet with blood.
"Ghost Shadow Cat," Lin Zhan muttered, recognition flashing in his eyes. "Low-level fourth rank. Not bad for a warm-up."
The beast growled lowly. Its muscles tensed, then — bang! — it pounced.
The air cracked as its body blurred, leaving only a ghostly afterimage. Within seconds, it was already before him, claws slicing through the air toward his face.
If those claws landed, his head would've burst like a melon.
But Lin Zhan didn't even flinch.
A faint smile touched his lips. "Too slow."
Whoosh!
A black flash streaked across the air.
The next instant, the Ghost Shadow Cat froze mid-leap, a black energy blade piercing straight through its throat.
Its body convulsed, blood spraying like a crimson mist. Then, with a dull thud, it collapsed.
[Killed: Fourth-Rank Beast — Ghost Shadow Cat]
[Reward: +700 Experience Points]
Lin Zhan glanced at the faint blue text in front of him and murmured, "Only seven hundred? Weak… but meat is meat."
He flicked his hand, and the carcass vanished into his inventory space. Then, he summoned his System Panel.

He smirked. "Not bad. A little more, and I can break into the late stage."
The wind brushed past his face as he began to move again — not walking, but gliding. His feet pressed on the void itself, each step sending him nearly ten meters forward. It was like running on invisible waves.
Leaves rustled beneath him, and sunlight flickered through the canopy. Despite the dangerous environment, there was something peaceful about the rhythm — the sound of distant beasts, the smell of wild grass, the pulse of life.
In this world, there were many types of talents: fire, lightning, metal, wind, water, and so on. But space… space remained one of the rarest and most mysterious. Even in the great Lin Family, only he had awakened it in a hundred years.
With his spatial mastery, he could already fight eighth-rank beasts — maybe even kill one if luck favored him. But such creatures were few and far between. Seventh and eighth-level beasts weren't like weeds one could find anywhere.
He stopped at the edge of a cliff, looking across the endless jungle that stretched far beyond the horizon.
His eyes glowed faintly black.
"The secret realm, huh…" His lips curved upward. "Let's see what kind of surprises you're hiding."
Then he stepped off the cliff — and vanished into the air like a passing shadow. Thunder and lightning intertwined, creating a dense sound like a soaring, surging symphony!

In the ruins of the city below, countless ferocious beasts were instantly annihilated by countless spatial blades before they could even scream!
"Ding, killed a Tier 3 Intermediate Wind Dire Wolf, Power Points +35."
"Ding, killed a Tier 4 Lower Bloodthirsty Violent Bear, Power Points +200."
"Ding, killed a Tier 3 Upper Arm Blade Tiger, Power Points +50."
"..."
A series of system notifications echoed in his mind, and the previously scarce exp points on his system panel suddenly began to surge! After entering the wilderness, Lin zhan went all out, frantically hunting ferocious beasts.
On the first day, he gained 35,000 power points.
On the second day, he gained 36,000 power points!
On the third day, he was lucky enough to hunt one eight rank ferocious beasts, earning 44,000 power points!
By the evening of the fourth day, the power points on the system panel had accumulated to 221,000!
At the same time, many plus sign appeared behind his skills but there is no chance to advanced to next rank.
His rare space talent has also pros and cons. Most of his skills are too low level in rare talents. Thanks to his system, he has to use exp points to evolve his skills.
You have to know there are ranking in skills as lowest to highest; E, D, C, B, A, S. Those highest S tier skills are rare even in Lin family, specially those space talent related. How sad!!!
"As expected, as my power increasing many time more than before. It also has become to further advanced. But as long as there is beasts to hunt down, i have not trouble to points."
There is still a smile on his lips. This earth has martial artists but there is no apocalypse like world. That's make beasts more scarer to hunt down.
"It is mistake to you system! I need exp points to level up in system but there is almost non exists beasts in this world. Its like making lunch with empty kitchen."
Lin zhan still think its system error to put him here or it should change its currency. If not for his family have so much powerful and control over some left over pocket dimensions, he really would be unable to use system powers.
"That means I can earn a guaranteed minimum of 30,000 power points a day."
"In just one month, I'll have accumulated nearly a million!"
Lin Zhan's eyes sparkled with excitement. Before breaking through to the seventh level, he'd anticipated a surge in his power point acquisition rate. He hadn't expected it to increase so much!
Remember, at the sixth level, he could not even earn 10,000 power points a day! And he could only stay in secret realm for some time. That's why it take four years for him to reach such powers.
Otherwise with his system, he would have reach here long ago.
Damn you old geezers!
But he choose to collect more points to increase his level and after increase his skills.
