Chapter 28 - chapter 28:Best day ever

An hour later, they were sneaking through the back gate, shoes in hand, laughter muffled by adrenaline. The pool glimmered under the moonlight, untouched and impossibly clear.

Clara dipped her foot in first, gasping. "It's freezing!"

"Then we shouldn't—" Luiz started, but she splashed him mid-sentence.

He blinked, drenched, then laughed — a real, deep laugh that felt new. "You're impossible."

"Come on, live a little!"

He joined her, and for a while, the world was only water, moonlight, and laughter bouncing off the tiles. When security lights flared suddenly, they scrambled out, slipping through the fence just as a guard shouted behind them.

They ran until they couldn't breathe — down narrow streets, through the soft hum of midnight lamps — until they collapsed near the edge of the park, laughing so hard it hurt.

"See?" Clara said, still breathless. "Best day ever."

Luiz looked at her, the moon reflecting in her eyes, her smile softening into something quieter.

"Yeah," he said, voice low. "It really is."

The laughter faded, replaced by silence that felt heavier, closer.

He reached out — slowly, unsure — and she didn't pull away.she lowered her face and kissed luiz lips directly. Then he hugged her and returned her passionate kiss instantly."Mhn¬"

"Mhn¬"Gradually they became more and more immersed in their passion. As they continued kissing, they began to undress each other. The night swallowed the rest.
