Alia couldn't sleep the entire night.
The pictures and messages she had seen on Ahmed's phone tore her heart apart. Every smile, every memory now felt like a lie.
When the morning sun peeked through the curtains, Alia opened her tired eyes.
Ahmed still hadn't returned. His phone showed the same thing — "Offline."
"Where is he?" her heart whispered, but her mind refused to answer.
Moments later, the door opened. Ahmed walked in — hair messy, eyes sleepy.
"Where were you all night?" Alia's voice trembled.
Ahmed avoided her gaze. "I had some work at the office. The meeting went on too long."
"A meeting at 2 a.m.?" she said bitterly.
"You don't trust me?" he snapped, throwing his phone on the side table before walking toward the bathroom.
Alia stood silently. She knew he was lying — but without proof, what could she say?
Later that afternoon, when Ahmed left the house again, Alia picked up the same black phone.
This time, she decided to unlock it completely.
The fingerprint opened it — Ahmed's own print had done the trick.
And then... her world stopped.
There were pictures of another woman.
Voice messages — "I miss you, Ahmed ❤️"
Alia's hands began to shake. Tears rolled silently down her cheeks.
Just then, someone knocked on the door.
She wiped her tears and opened it — a servant stood there, holding a white envelope.
"Ma'am, sir said to give this to you immediately."
Alia took it with trembling hands. Inside was a divorce paper.
The room started spinning. Her breath caught in her throat.
And outside the house, Ahmed sat in a black car, smiling — with another woman beside him.
