For the children in Meteor City, just watching a simple dub of Clean-Up Rangers was enough to satisfy them.
When would they ever have had the chance to see something this filling before?!
When they saw those five Beast Kings transform, accompanied by the stirring music as each one shouted their name, followed by explosive special effects in the background, they all immediately roared and screamed like wild apes.
They were so excited they could hardly contain themselves, venting their emotions as if they had reverted to some primal state.
They probably didn't know what they were howling about.
But watching this extremely emotional and adrenaline-fueled scene, they couldn't help themselves.
Especially when the five Beast Kings began to fight Spider-Man, the first monster-man sent by the Shocker Factory.
The situation got out of control for a moment.
Well, here, Luke named the evil organization he imagined as Shocker Factory, and the first monster-man they dispatched was also the classic Spider-Man.
This was also Luke's tribute to one of the three great Tokusatsu works from another world, Kamen Rider.
The five members of the Hundred Beasts Squad who successfully transformed, with the help of the great inventor, Cecil B. Heimerdinger, continuously unleashed the powers of the Lion, Eagle, Shark, Bull, and Tiger, and successfully defeated the invading monster-man.
The characters played by the two recurring villains who summoned and manipulated this monster-man, Phinks and Feitan, also fled.
Thus, the first episode came to a close.
When the screen displayed the words, end of the episode, the entire audience erupted in applause.
Many children even shouted: "One more episode!"
They truly couldn't get enough.
This is way more thrilling than the Clean-Up Rangers movie!
Whether it's the plot, the visuals, the costumes, the special effects, or the music, all of it left the dubbed version far behind!
And the scenes about defending their homeland resonated deeply with the children in Meteor City.
Many children were still fascinated.
Some, however, gradually began to realize something.
"Why do the characters playing the Beast Kings seem to be Chrollo and the others…"
"Did you notice that too? I thought I was the only one who felt that way!"
"Really? If you hadn't told me, I wouldn't have noticed. I think I also saw Sarasa, Franklin, Pakunoda, and the others there…"
After the excitement gradually died down, the discussion and confusion returned.
Clearly, this was an unavoidable question.
Ever since the huge success of Chrollo and the others' dubbing, they had become well-known figures to many children in Meteor City.
Now, seeing the movie starring them, they naturally recognized them.
Fortunately, Chrollo had discussed this issue with Luke and Father Lisores beforehand.
And so…
As the discussion in the room grew louder, Chrollo and others made a dazzling appearance.
"Yes, as everyone has seen, the characters in this film are played by us!!"
Boom!!
The entire room erupted in an uproar after Chrollo's words.
Then, a riot of excitement ensued.
Let's not even talk about the compliments like
"Amazing!"
"You guys are awesome!"
"You're practically superhuman!"
There were also the likes of "Did you really receive the blessing of the sacred mountain and gain the power of the beasts?!"
"You can really transform, right?!"
Some couldn't distinguish reality from fiction, while the more level-headed but still excited kids were more concerned with…
"How did you do it?!"
"How did you manage to film it like this?!"
"I want to be in the movie too, can I join you?!!"
A barrage of questions followed.
Chrollo answered them all, handling them with ease.
Well, he was naturally suited to this kind of activity.
And regarding the filming issues, he cleverly attributed them all to the church and Father Lisores.
"Our primary purpose in filming this project is to protect our home."
Chrollo earnestly said in full performance mode: "Meteor City is facing external troubles right now."
"Through this project, we hope to unite everyone."
"We want everyone to know that we in Meteor City can also make our own films!"
"Wow!"
Another wave of thunderous applause sounded.
Chrollo also went on at length about Father Lisores's support for their filming.
Well, if only a group of children were the only ones to produce something like this, it would definitely arouse suspicion. It might even attract unnecessary covetousness and trouble.
But if they brought Father Lisores and the church into the picture, and attached such a tiger-skin cloak to it, then people would be much more receptive.
And just as Chrollo was speaking to the children in Meteor City…
Inside the hidden room in the church…
Buzz… Crackle…
Electric currents continually strengthened and refined Luke's body, increasing his aura reserves.
Luke, who was inside the power booster, couldn't help but let out a soft hum of comfort.
"Yes, that's it."
He murmured softly; his tone was relaxed and filled with satisfaction.
This was Luke's second strengthening session since arriving in this world.
The results were still outstanding. His current strength has almost reached Gon's level, when he first faced Hisoka in the Heavens Arena.
He's as strong as Gon, who could score two points against Hisoka, and later showed solid ability during the Yorknew City arc.
In other words, Luke now counts as a novice Nen user.
Someone who had at least gained a certain ability to protect himself in this world.
But Luke could also feel that the stronger his own strength became, the more limited the amplification effect of the power booster would gradually become.
"And besides, in this world where Nen is the foundation, the true focus lies in the application of Nen abilities, as well as advanced usage techniques; these are what really matter."
