Chapter 14 - Chapter 15 — The White Fang Returns

As I stepped through the fading shimmer of the portal, Konoha's familiar skyline stretched out before me—the Hokage Tower bathed in sunset's glow, a gentle breeze carrying the scent of fresh rain across the village. My ANBU guards dispersed silently into the rooftops, shadows melting into the night.

Then the voice echoed in my head.

[Ding! System Notification]Congratulations, Host. You have successfully negotiated with Nick Fury, an important figure in the Marvel Universe.Rewards:• 5,000 Points• Skill: Master Tactician Mind• 1x Random Summoning Card — [Naruto Character Pool]

I blinked once, a small smirk tugging at the corner of my lips.

"Five thousand points… not bad. And Master Tactician Mind?" I murmured softly, feeling the world sharpen around me as if my thoughts had suddenly become perfectly aligned, each one flowing into the next with mathematical precision. I could see potential outcomes of every move, a thousand possible paths to victory blooming like the petals of a Sharingan.

Still, it was the summoning card that drew my attention.

I sat down at my desk, the Hokage hat resting beside me, and pulled up the system's shimmering interface. A small golden card materialized in the air before me, its edges glowing faintly with chakra energy.

"Well, the original Itachi suffered endlessly," I said quietly to myself, staring at the golden light. "Perhaps the universe owes me a bit of mercy."

I tapped the card.

[Initiating Random Summon…]Rolling from character pool: Naruto World…

The system screen flared bright. Names began to flicker past at incredible speed: Madara Uchiha, Tobirama Senju, Minato Namikaze, Obito Uchiha, Tsunade, Jiraiya, Kushina Uzumaki…

The pace slowed. My eyes followed as the glowing cursor danced between names like fate teasing me.

It hovered for a second over Minato Namikaze—then skipped. My fingers clenched. It passed over Obito Uchiha next, lingering long enough for me to almost think the choice was final.

Then it moved one more time.

And stopped.

[Congratulations! You have summoned: Sakumo Hatake – The White Fang of Konoha]

I stood so suddenly the chair tipped backward. My chakra spiked in disbelief. "Sakumo Hatake…?"

The air rippled in front of me, the floor marked with glowing summoning seals. A flash of pure white light enveloped the room—and then, standing before me, was the man himself.

Silver hair brushed his forehead protector. His sharp eyes were calm, focused, filled with a quiet wisdom that even death hadn't dulled. A short blade rested on his back, wrapped in white cloth. His presence radiated power—the kind that didn't need to shout to be known.

He looked around once, then focused on me. "Hokage-sama…" he said with a faint, steady tone. "So this is… the world I've been summoned to?"

For a moment, I simply stared at him, a rush of emotion mixing with satisfaction. The White Fang of Konoha—stronger than all three of the Sannin combined in raw ability, a man whose death had once changed the course of the village.

"Yes," I said, a rare smile breaking across my lips. "Welcome back, Sakumo Hatake."

He blinked, a faint surprise passing through his gaze. "The Hokage… Itachi Uchiha?"

"That's right," I said. "The Uchiha clan lives. Konoha stands united. And you—" I gestured toward him, "—are needed again."

He nodded slowly, absorbing my words. "I never thought I'd see the village again… much less in peace."

"It's not peace," I corrected, "but it's closer than we've had in a long time."

The system chimed again softly in my mind.

[Summoning Successful]Sakumo Hatake now permanently resides in this timeline. His loyalty is bound to you, and his power scales with your leadership.

I exhaled, the sound more like a quiet laugh. "Perfect. With you leading our next generation of shinobi—and with Kakashi in the Marvel world—perhaps Konoha's legacy will echo through more than one universe."

Sakumo's eyes softened at the mention of his son. "Kakashi… alive?"

"More than alive," I said with a faint smile. "He's serving as commander of my advance team. He's… doing well."

Sakumo nodded slowly. "Then I will fight under your banner, Hokage-sama. For Konoha… and for my son."

The room fell silent after that. But beneath the quiet, I could feel something vast taking shape—an alliance of worlds, warriors from across time gathering under my command.

The White Fang had returned.

And the multiverse would soon know what it meant to stand against the Will of Fire reborn through an Uchiha's eyes.
