"I believe you." Luoyu nodded.
Huliena froze. "You believed me that easily? But you just rejected me!"
Her final words were almost a whisper.
Luoyu looked serious: "I believe what you say, and I can see you're a good girl. But that doesn't mean I can easily take advantage of you."
Huliena paused, then softly said, "But I was willing just now! You weren't taking advantage of me."
"If we put it that way, then maybe it would be me," she trailed off, cheeks blazing.
Luoyu waved his hand: "Girls often feel a rush when saved from danger, it's normal to have impulses, especially when it's someone decent-looking like me, right?"
Huliena gave a small puff of air, slightly annoyed.
"I don't want your gratitude to make you give your first kiss on impulse. Later, if you regret it, you won't even have a place to cry. A girl has to take responsibility for her actions; don't always rely on boys' kindness."
Hearing his serious words, Huliena's eyes widened in disbelief. The men she'd met before might never dare act, but she always saw lust in their eyes.

If anyone else had done that, Huliena would have kicked them flying, thinking they were taking advantage. But Luoyu's gesture… it felt like he was disdainful of her?
