That cavern released a terrifyingly cold, gloomy aura. The mere updraft surging from below caused the tables and chairs inside the tavern to frost over with deep-blue ice, accompanied by an indescribable cacophony of noise.
"This just got troublesome."
Luo Yu felt that he must have had terrible luck today. Getting lost was one thing, but somehow wandering into a place like this was simply ridiculous.

Taking advantage of her speech, Luo Yu quickly scanned the surroundings again. He confirmed that the only exit was that eerie cavern—every other route, including the ceiling, was sealed by faint dark-purple light.
With a flick of her hand, the purple-haired woman put away the Illusory Spirit Wine, lifted her skirt slightly, and said, "Then let's begin. Come here first—let me help you up."
"Wait a moment. Since the trial is so important, let me warm up first, alright?" Luo Yu said.
Her eyes filled with confusion. "Warm up?"
Luo Yu began jumping in place and jogging lightly. "It's too cold in here. It'll affect my condition. Let me get my blood flowing first."
"You're quite energetic, little brother. I'm getting more and more excited," she said with a thrilled expression.
After running symbolically for a bit and seeing that she didn't stop him, Luo Yu subtly adjusted his path, step by step approaching the cavern filled with wailing undead and biting winds.
"Little brother, that place is dangerous. Come back," the purple-haired woman urged anxiously.
She licked her lips, her legs glowing with black patterns as they unconsciously pressed together, urging Luo Yu to hurry.
As he neared the edge of the howling demonic cavern, Luo Yu felt goosebumps rise all over his body. The icy aura seemed alive, trying to burrow into him.
Hearing her call, Luo Yu's lips curled into a cold, arrogant smile. "Why should I go back?"
Her expression remained eager. "Your warm-up's done. Come accept my trial. I'm ready."
Luo Yu curled his lip disdainfully, his deep black eyes turning razor-sharp. "The trial won't be necessary."
Her face changed instantly. All seductive charm vanished, replaced by a terrifying, feral expression. "Human—what do you mean by that?"
Luo Yu shrugged calmly. "Sorry. I have a bit of a cleanliness obsession. Things like wild chickens and ducks ruin my appetite."
Boom!
Purple light erupted throughout the dim tavern. A violent gale roared as the temperature dropped even further. The purple-haired woman's face twisted grotesquely, her dress and hair whipping wildly in the wind.
Luo Yu felt an overwhelming pressure crash toward him like a tidal wave. His expression turned serious, yet his gaze remained terrifyingly resolute as he clenched his fist and glanced at the dark cavern at his feet.
In truth, he had already made his decision earlier—he just hadn't expected things to go this smoothly and get him this close to the cavern.
Suddenly, the purple-haired woman waved her hand, dispersing the pressure. Her dress and hair settled as she mocked him coldly.
"Little brother, you're not planning to jump down there, are you? You really think that's an exit?"
"Without drinking the Illusory Spirit Wine, you so-called humans will die the moment you enter that place."
"Follow my rules. Even if you fail, at least you'll walk out of here alive," she said confidently, utterly convinced that once the truth was laid bare, this human would never dare to jump.
In the thousands of years people had come here, all had seen the cavern. Every single one chose to fight her instead of leaping into that abyss.
Because the terror of the cavern was visible, while her trial was fragrant and tempting. Everyone believed they were the five-second real man.
Luo Yu suddenly let out a short laugh and pointed at the purple-haired woman.
"I think," he said calmly, "that the thing beneath you is far more dangerous than that cavern."
