Chapters 1–500 Have Been Fully Reworked

Dear Readers,

First, an apology.

If you have read this novel before, you know the translation quality in places was rough — and in the early chapters, frankly the worst of it. Character names changed spelling from chapter to chapter (Chu Xing Chen / Chu Xingchen, Li Xing Tian / Li Xingtian), sects and places were called by several different names, a few lines still had untranslated Chinese left in them, some chapters were duplicated, and a couple were missing outright. That was my fault, and I am sorry it gave you a poor reading experience.

I have spent the past weeks going back through the whole novel — re-reading every chapter line by line, rebuilding the glossary of names and terms, and correcting the text against the original Chinese. As of today, chapters 1 through 500 have been fully edited and cleaned up: names and terminology are consistent throughout, dialogue and descriptions have been fixed, the stray characters are gone, and the duplicated and missing chapters have been put back in their proper order.

So if you gave up on this novel because of the rough translation, please give it one more try — especially the early chapters, which changed the most. And if you spot anything that still looks off, tell me and I will fix it.

Thank you for reading, and thank you for your patience.
