Chapter 19 - Chapter 18: Little Web Manager Nancy Lilia

In the bustling Secret Realm Lobby of Miracle City, Nancy Lilia was busy sweeping the floor. Boss Jack wasn't a heartless taskmaster. He valued the Adventurers' experience, ensuring they felt comfortable both inside and outside the Secret Realm. A spotless hall contributed to a vibrant atmosphere, fostering more mental energy.

"This Lord really knows how to boss people around!" Nancy muttered as her broom moved swiftly. "Forget it, this poor guy doesn't yet know what kind of fate awaits him."

Gloomy Valley was a quiet corner on the edge of the Eternal Night Great Forest. Filled with various forces, the forest was a place no ordinary Dungeon Lord could easily shake. Nancy felt a mix of pity and frustration for this human Lord who had unknowingly set up camp in such a perilous place.

The Dark Goblin Lord Bloodthroat ruled over Gloomy Valley with nearly three thousand Dark Kind Goblins, half of which were combat units. Without powerful backing, a small-time human Lord had little chance of survival. Nancy, despite being a high-level expert, was restricted by the valley's laws to Tier 1 strength, limiting her ability to act.

Beyond the valley, Nancy could defeat Bloodthroat effortlessly. But here, she had to remain cautious, hiding her true identity. The Eternal Night Dragon King, a fearsome Dark Kind Demon King, controlled the Great Forest, and Nancy was on the run from him. Her escape from Holy Tree City was paid for with her grandmother's life, and she had to live on to avenge her people.

Yet, this Underground City seemed too weak, too insignificant to make a difference. But with over twenty days of novice protection left, Nancy decided to work hard to repay the Lord's kindness in taking her in.

Her broom moved faster, and soon, the lobby gleamed spotless. Suddenly, the main doors burst open, and over a hundred Adventurers rushed in, eager to explore. Nancy was caught off guard, spinning and falling to the ground, clutching her broom in confusion.

"What happened?" she exclaimed. "Why are there so many Adventurers?"

In just under a minute, the hall filled to capacity. Miracle City's reception limit was one hundred and sixty, and it was clear more Adventurers wanted in but hadn't been fast enough. Nancy, having seen many Underground Cities, was astonished by the overwhelming interest.

"Hey, isn't this the Gnome we captured yesterday?" one Adventurer said. "Starting work so soon?"

Mandy and Lucy helped Nancy up. "Little girl, are you okay?" they asked, offering her a piece of chocolate as compensation. Nancy hesitated but was soon delighted by the sweet taste. It was unlike anything she'd ever tasted.

With such kindness shown, Nancy felt drawn to these Adventurers. She joined them to observe the Secret Realm adventure. As the End of the World Tide unfolded before her, Nancy was captivated by the vibrant, lifelike scenes and the thrilling exploration.

An hour passed, and as more Adventurers cleared the Secret Realm, they began forming teams to tackle tougher challenges. Nancy watched, amazed at their coordination and resilience in the face of danger.

The adventure was thrilling, with terrifying Zombies and heart-pounding escapes. Nancy, inspired by the teamwork and excitement, realized this Secret Realm was unlike any she'd encountered before.

When a Charger Zombie unexpectedly appeared, the Adventurers fought valiantly, showing incredible ingenuity. Despite the tragedy of losing some members, their bravery and determination shone through, leaving Nancy in awe.

Nancy understood why this Underground City was so popular. In just three days, Miracle City had developed an extraordinary Secret Realm that drew in countless Adventurers. It was nothing short of a miracle.

Reflecting on the potential she had initially underestimated, Nancy realized Miracle City might have much more to offer than she imagined. This place was indeed special, and she was eager to see what the future held for this remarkable Underground City.
