Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Lesson of the Day; Never Let Two S-Ranks in the Same Room.

My mind tried to analyze what she meant by what she said.

Before my mind could register, there was immense light, the type that burned brighter than the sun.

From the 'Heavens' emerged a man—he wore this golden robe and a crown. My first guess—Angel Michael, Samael's rival. But then he had no wings, so he was maybe one of an A or S-rank Angel.

His aura leaked out like gold, and his halo was a bit thicker than the angels in the academy. His eyes were golden and his hair was flawless. He held this staff that had golden runes hum all over it, and somehow, his presence made my dad's aura unstable.

The headmistress knew that calling forth two S-rank faction leaders could mean something chaotic if their egos got the better of them.

Well, at least Great-grandfather Lucifer was in charge of that, so why worry? Although their fight might bring forth the next Cataclysm, which could probably kill everyone once more, including me if I'm not careful....oh wait, I should be worried.

"You summoned me today, although—Gabriel didn't deliver the message in time." He said, his voice was everything my dad wasn't—with all his perfectionism and seriousness.

My dad would cut off a man's balls and laugh while at it.

"Someone unlocked the Cerebrus," the headmistress said, like a plea.

"WHAT?!" the angel exclaimed. My dad didn't even flinch.

"Do you know who it is?" my dad asked.

"Don't ask such a question when you already know the truth." The angel said, almost as if pissed off.

"Truth? Please enlighten me on the truth you speak of, holy idiot?" my dad asked, a teasing smirk tugging his lips.

"You dare call me an idiot when you couldn't even pass the one thing, Heaven and Hell cursed you with—parenting?!" the angel barked as if trying to prove a point, but my dad remained dead calm.

"And by parenting properly, you mean?" my dad asked, as if trying to get on the guy's nerves.

"Your son is the culprit here. Stop trying not to know what I'm talking about." He finally blotted out.

Before my mind could weave thoughts into words, Aries—a C-rank level angel, who was unfortunately the son of the S-rank angel that challenged my father, stepped forward to speak.

"Yes, Xavier is always a topper at creating havoc. I wouldn't be surprised if one told me, even in my sleep, that he was the one who unlocked the Cereberus."

"Watch how you speak about my son, boy." Astaroth reprimanded.

I stepped forward slowly, hands in my pocket—wearing that wicked grin when I knew I was up to no good.

Which I was.

"You think I'm the one who unlocked the Cerebrus?" I asked, my voice was more venomous than I intended.

"I don't think so, Xavier. I know so. I mean, who would ever second-guess your trouble in this Academy?" Aries asked, his voice was bold and made me want to cut open his throat, put rachas in his stomach, and pierce a thousand needles through his eyeballs.

"You don't know shit," I said, but now was the right time for Mrs. Know-it-all to interrupt me.

"Language, Xavier," but before she could catch a glimpse of what was going on, my father snapped.

"Language? I'll send this bastard of a son to the darkest pits of hell myself and lock him up for eternity." Astaroth's demonic aura began to leak out just a little—little enough to choke Aries, that is.

"Father," I said, stepping closer now and standing between him and Aries.

What a fool Aries was, wanting to fight an S-rank demon.

"I can fight my battles myself," I said, my father's eyes turned back to crimson. He was about to enter his alternate state—the one that made even devils remember the reason why Hell existed.

A state where he would be able to carry Aries to hell and have a duel there—and of course, things would work in my father's favor—angels were not allowed to cross hell's gate without a devil's seal on their neck, forearm, or waist.

Ok, that's enough info, back to what's happening.

"I know," he said, "but I'm a father and I—" before he could finish, Aries' father cut him off...rudely. And no one, not even my mum, had the right to do so.

She did once and paid for it.

"You can't pass parenting rule no.1, and you call yourself a father? Oh, I think it's because your third leg works properly and brings forth the chaos you once were, so I am not that surprised that even a brainless, stupid leader could call himself a father." He spat.

Oh, my father lost it.

His intensity was growing, and so was Aries' father.

Suddenly, the wind picked up, and the trees rustled loudly. A demonic aura was leaking from behind my father, as if it were about to cloak us in darkness. Meanwhile, Aries' father's aura shone so brightly I thought the sun had fallen from the sky.

"Finally," my father said, voice rich with amusement, "I see your self-control at its peak, holy idiot." My father said, laying more emphasis on the word idiot, like Aries's father was the embodiment was idiocy.

Fuck, I sound formal—as formal as Aries.

...

The air grew intense as fuck. It was almost like the world itself was holding its breath.

The floor even seemed to give way for what was happening. It cracked beneath us, as a golden light/aura met demonic—spiderwebbing out of the two beings.

My father's eyes were blood-red now, as his demonic aura leaked out like it was about to devour light. Which it was.

The holy guy's golden aura leaked out pretty much as well as my dad's, but it wasn't as good.

Angels always followed orders. Orders were boring and pathetic.

When the two auras clashed, they spiraled violently, and they even began to make the walls of the Academy tremble.

It was annoying that even Mrs. Athelia couldn't stop what was happening.

I knew this would happen, but never thought it would be like.... this.
