Three years ago Leo owned a debt to a man named Michael Chaus for who he will forever be grateful. He had never met the man before. What happened was that his only sister, Vennesa had three years ago been transferred to work at a hospital in City Y. Vennesa unlike Leo is a surgeon, orthopedic. There had been a shortage of doctors and nurses and many were asked to volunteer. She being naturally kind and committed agreed to go despite her brother's warnings. City Y was generally a dangerous place since most of the city was ruled by business people and dons. He had secretly assigned her bodyguards for her safety. He understood how dirty this rich people could play to get what they want since he had seen his fair share. It was during one of those days that the hospital she worked in was attacked and doctors and nurses taken as hostages and this was because they had found themselves in between the fire going on between two clashing sides. Most of the times, this group were in perfect harmony unless they are confronted and if that happens they take there fight to the end and this time it wasn't small groups clashing,it was the big dogs. It involved Michael Chaus and his long time nemesis Gregory Peck. If Chaus was seen as ruthless then Peck was a total devil. He doesn't stop at nothing to make a point. Peck allowed his members to raid on Chaus territory and attack the innocent lives there and not only that but he wanted those who survived and we're taken to hospital killed just to make a statement that he's not to be triffled with. It so happened that Vennesa was in duty at that time and was among the hostages. Her bodyguards couldn't get to her on time and they could only sit ducks. That was the most heart breaking news Leo had ever received in a while. He took his jet straight to city Y but by the time he got there ,the whole hospital was in crumbles. He almost broke down until a guy named Gael came to pick him up to take him to his sister. At first he was skeptical but Gael had a calming presence that instantly made you trust him,maybe it's his calm hazel eyes or his serene features but he trusted him, that and also the fact that he was truly desperate to find his sister alive. He found her,his sister being taken care of by Chaus's wife. And for the first time in many years he hugged his sister. Vennesa was clearly scared of the whole ordeal as she was still shaking.
"What happened,how did you find yourself here?"Lei asked while confirming she had no injuries.
" I wasn't captured, I was hiding in the janitors closet when suddenly I was taken by this man and they brought me here"Vennesa replied.
"Only you?"he asked gears already turning in his head. "Yes."
Gael came back and called Leo"My father wishes to speak to you," he looked between them "alone"
Leo followed him to see the man who had either saved them or just turned them into his pawns. Gael left them to speak.
He found Chaus seated in his chair,he had a very friendly face but such faces always hide the most sinister of characters. He knew this man was not as simple as he looked.
"You saved my sister,what do you want from us,"Leo stated straight to the point, he wanted to know what the man needed from him.
"You're quite perceptive, yes I do need something from you, you can refer to it as paying a debt "Chaus said casually but there was still authority in his voice.
"What exactly do you need,"he asked carefully, it's had been long since he ever felt the need to mince his words but this time he had to partly gratitude and mostly respect.
"In due time , you'll know?"Chaus said which made Leo wonder how the man knew Vennesa was his sister and how he knew him" How did you know my sister,was this your plan all along "
Chaus sighs" Young folks don't have trust in us nowadays " the way he said it made Leo wonder if they were talking about the same thing"how I knew your sister is easy, I always get informed about who get into the city and how I knew you, let's just say I did my research."
That was three years ago, he had even almost forgotten about the old man until he got a call last week from him.
"Mr Leo ,you remember that debt, it's time to collect it". It always catches up to you. He could have been a bastard and outright refused but he couldn't. Chaus had saved his sister and also he had no idea of the consequences he would face if he went against his word.
"Mr Chaus, long time.When do you need me there""Tommorow"and he hang up.

Leo made his way to Chaus office at his mansion. Even he couldn't deny the fact that it was a very beautiful place that seemed remotely homely. As he walked by he saw the guy who had saved his sister seated a sort of garden in the middle of the mansion with another guy. Kai watched as Leo walked with such confidence he found it icky.
"Why the face"Gael asks his brother.
"What face?"he breaks his stare from Leo and looks at his brother.
"You have the same face on, the same one you had when Simone gifted you that dog, fear."
Kai glares at his brother as Gael just laughs,"don't look at me like that, "
"You were scared of that dog,I wonder what happened to it,"he looks at him suggestively.
"I didn't do anything to it,and no it's not fear, it's pure hate."Leo says glaring at the path Leo just passed.
"You hate that Leo guy, you just met him. Why"Gael asks even though he has a glimpse of why.
"He's just too arrogant for his on good,".Gael just smirks" Aren't you describing yourself,"
"Shut up and wipe that smirk off your face"Kai growls "Anyway why do you think dad needs from him"
"I have no clue,"Gael says and Kai turns to look at him shocked."I know ,I know, I'm shocked too but dad is always secretive on stuff he doesn't want people to figure out"
"Seriously, even you. "Leo smirks,if there's anything that gets under Gaels skin is someone mocking his skills"
"This is why I don't talk to you ,"Gael says as he starts to walk away.
"Hey come on, don't go. Why are you always so easy to mess with"Kai asks .
"Why are you always a jerk"Gael shots back.
