Chapter 7 - Making of OP Character (2)

"Full Body Enhancement!"

Yeah, a complete enhancement of his physical body. Magic is good, but in this world relying on magic alone could lead to devastating defeat.

For example, the device Souma had his inventors make that could make one unable to use magic. Yeah, so total reliance on magic is something Damon didn't want.

For this, he must ensure his physical body itself becomes a weapon on its own, leagues above the rest of the warriors.

"Ok, first let's note down all our requirements."

Damon grinned as he sat cross-legged on the ground, leaning against the tree, muttering to himself.

"Peak human condition is a must, to have my body achieve peak stats!" Ok, many would want the characters to hit the gym and waste months changing their bodies, but is Damon one of those? Nah.

"Becoming OP as fast as possible. That's the priority." An overpowered body. In reality, you can't become a Greek god sculpture in a day, but in this world of the future with magic, it's all possible.

Looking down at himself, Damon noted his appearance. Average face, a bit discolored due to past lifestyle. Tall but skinny figure, looking like a pole.

Skinny limbs, flat abdomen, and average penile length… based on 21st-century standards.

"Okay, let's change it all. First, a Greek god–like body, sharp jawline, clear skin, chiseled muscles with lean but muscular body type. Broad shoulders, thin waist, muscular lower body and a giant cock!" Damon listed all the things he wanted without any shame, but looking at the description he remembered the descriptions of all main characters in novels.

'Should I add sword-like eyebrows too? Nah, I ain't from Dragon Kingdom.'

Anyways, Damon muttered to himself as he drew the outline of his ideal body, but now came the most important task.

"Supernatural abilities, like regeneration, supernatural strength, longer lifespan, magic resistance… adaptation."

These were the list of abilities Damon wanted his body to possess. But the question was how?

He racked his brain as he looked at the abilities while recalling the novel contents.

Fuuga and Aisha, reaching supernatural levels of strength with their bodies… we can assume this is because of racial features that allowed this to happen and were boosted by their training.

Regeneration… Damon didn't recall any race possessing the ability specially.

Though he could achieve the same effect by using magic, he would like it if it were natural rather than depending upon the screen to change abilities. After all, in a battlefield it's a matter of life and death.

Magic resistance and adaptation too were his original ideas. A body whose surface is resistant to magic-based attacks? In this world, that is akin to god's blessings.

And adaptation and ability, famous in the anime community of the 21st century, especially after the introduction of Mahouraga, a character from JJK.

Resting his head back, Damon pondered deeply about how to introduce such qualities to his body.

"Gene manipulation?" Introducing genes capable of extraordinary regeneration or that of other species to gain their abilities. Kind of recombinant DNA technology which could be possible with the help of nanotech?

"No, it's too risky…" risk of cancer and mutation made Damon shudder at the thought of messing with his genes. Experimenting with other subjects? Nah, it's too tiresome for now.

Racking his brain, Damon mumbled to himself delving into his memories… "Hah… how to do this."

Looking at the sky, Damon sighed as he was unable to think of a safer solution, dazing off as he looked at the setting sun.

"..Supernatural body… it sounds like something from the shaman's stories." Damon let out a light laugh as he imagined the stories of the shaman of his tribe.

Telling the kids legends of great warriors, myths and fairy tales of an ancestor who was said to get goddess blessings, gaining a body with the blessing of immortality.

The warrior never died in the battlefield. Even when swords pierced his chest, he kept on fighting.

'The shaman said that the rune of immortality was what the goddess granted him…' runes. Not of any magical effect but rather tattoos with strange text that children of age, once married off of Ravonir Tribe, are tattooed with, that's supposed to grant courage and good luck to one.

'runes…'

"Wait, runes!" Remembering the stories, Damon exclaimed as a shocking idea hit him.

"Instead of manipulating genes or something from the start, why don't I create a rune for my body?"

An external rune made up of nanomachines equipped on the body — it would stimulate the healing, learning, immune, and resistance–related mechanisms to their highest working on the body, taking it to another level.

As Damon muttered to himself, his eyes brightened in acknowledgement, 'this is possible…'

Summoning the status window, Damon began writing the ability for the first time to change his base form.

Writing in tough detail and creating the workflow as efficient and impressive as he could make.

Changing the base form of his can be turned in two ways from Damon's perspective, like dragon transformation of Naden where she uses it to transform into a dragon… a great and strong transformation but not permanent in complete sense.

Second would be by using the aftereffects of a spell. Instead of building a transformation spell, he can make it so that its effects create the transformation.

One-time usage of the spell but once done the results would stay permanent.

The nanomachines are strong and have very, very powerful NLP capabilities so Damon doesn't have to worry about much, but when writing he made it so that results were properly mentioned in detail.

He made sure that no harm could be done, no mutation and nothing leaves lagging that could result in dangers to his body.

This was followed by adding a regression mechanism so that if anything goes awry by mistake, he can return back the moment he wishes when equipped with this ability.

It took him hours to properly write all his requirements followed by the rune system, that too he put collectively in the spell.

He made sure that there were no mistakes by checking line by line again and again. The complete biological transformation was a big deal and required time and energy in huge amounts.

Instead of putting toll on the nanomachines itself for the energy, he described an engine to have the biomass around him used as a source of energy for this transformation, ensuring the process didn't stop midway.

This conversion may not be efficient, but it doesn't matter for now. His transformation was what he took priority in.

Looking at the end product of his detailed ability description, he sighed as he wrote the final part requiring a very strong shield of nanomachines to be deployed the moment this all begins to protect Damon from external hindrance as the transformation starts.

God like body

Peak Human Stats

Magic resistance

Learning enhancement

Regeneration

The core effects that Damon was most focused on including all things he wanted with an exception of adaptability.

Thinking hard about the ability Damon refrained from adding it knowing that controlled and only beneficial adaptation should be allowed and instead of this ability itself.

Some adaptation even those that benifits his body were to take place he may find problems later down the line do instead he refrain to add it permanently to his body.

"Huff… finally." Looking at the complete description, Damon sighed as he closed his eyes and prayed for success before hitting enter.
