After leaving Diagon Alley, Flitwick took Ryan back to the Silver Lime Tree Orphanage. "Any other information you need about the start of school—I'll write to you later. So... goodbye, Ryan."
"Goodbye, Professor Flitwick."
After saying goodbye, Flitwick drew his wand. With a sharp crackle, he Apparated from the orphanage. When he reappeared, he was already on the long path outside Hogwarts—not because he didn't want to go back directly to the school, but because Apparition was not possible within Hogwarts.
However, unlike Ryan, Flitwick didn't get the chance to return to his room.
Cry!
With a clear cry, a fiery red magical creature appeared before him, shrouded in flames.
"Fawkes?" Flitwick recognized the magical creature instantly. It was Fawkes, Headmaster Dumbledore's companion, the phoenix. It was one of the few creatures that could Apparate within Hogwarts.
Cry!
Fawkes called to Flitwick, extending a claw. "Dumbledore wants to see me? Now?" Flitwick guessing what Fawkes meant, was a bit surprised. "Is it about Ryan Ellias? But now..."
Flitwick knew Dumbledore's character. Gentle, open-minded, generous, and wise—he rarely summoned a professor to his office at this hour. But after Fawkes opened his beak and called again as a sign of urgency, Flitwick shook his head helplessly. "Okay, okay—I understand. He does have a remarkable talent, and perhaps Dumbledore knows that..."
He reached out and grasped Fawkes' claw.
Boom!
A flash of fire followed, and he vanished. Hogwarts at night. Only the occasional sounds from the Forbidden Forest and the rumble of the Black Lake could lull him to sleep.

Meanwhile, unlike Flitwick, Lion groaned back to his room in the dark. But outside the door, he clearly saw the moonlight reflecting off Ms. Perla's shoes and Dean Aisha's reading glasses at the end of the corridor.
"Good night," Ryan said, smiling and waving to the two women who raised him, before entering the room.
And from the next day on, accompanied by the humming of owls, they flew into the orphanage with packages and heavy books on their backs. Ten centuries later, Ryan once again began to explore the world of magic.

[June 25th, Sunny]
- The books from Flourish and Blotts arrived, but the owls didn't enter the house—they didn't seem happy.
- By the way, Miss Pella bought me a notebook to keep track of my magic practice.
---
[June 26th, Cloudy]
- Today I read the book Basic Spells. Mrs. Rowena taught me that it's always important to lay a solid foundation. Besides, after a thousand years, I'm sure the magical world's understanding of magic has evolved a lot, right? (crossed out)
- Re-recording... The magic of this era is much more crude than I imagined. Most spells require the coordination of incantations and are completely simplified versions of spells from thousands of years ago. Did I buy the wrong book?
---
[June 30th, Cloudy]
- I recently looked up the changes in the wizarding world over the past hundred years, and I kind of understand why spells have become simpler—because of the Statute of Secrecy, those ancient magics with huge destructive power, complex spells, harsh and dangerous spells were naturally eliminated.
- But it's not just ancient magic; there are also potions, runes, and even alchemy... So many things have been lost, which is hard to explain.
- But no matter what—this is obviously a huge loss to the exploration of the path of magic.
---
[July 1st, Rainy]
- Started to try practicing spells.
---
[July 3rd, Rainy]
- Continuing from the preface, the spells of this era are not as worthless as I thought. Although a lot of powerful ancient magic has been lost, considerable progress has been made in some daily and common magic.
- In addition, their research on details such as spellcasting gestures and spells has indeed made the spells more stable.
- The effects of some newly born spells are also very commendable— in fact, I think the fish and chips made in Cooking Magic written by Ms. Angela Cooper are very delicious.
---
[July 4th, Rainy]
- This is the second time I'm enjoying fish and chips. I think maybe I can combine the cooking magic and recipes taught by Mrs. Helga. I'll try it tomorrow.
---
[July 5th, Rainy]
- The attempt was very successful. Moonflowers and French fries are a perfect match... I'll try other types of food tomorrow!
---
[July 6th, Sunny]
- My attempt at Indian food was a nightmare.
---
[July 7th, Cloudy]
- I saw in the newspaper that the new desserts launched by Florin's Ice Cream Shop in Diagon Alley are very delicious. Unfortunately, my body and magic power are too weak now, and I can't use Apparition stably.
---
[July 8th, Rainy]
- Ryan, Ryan, what are you doing? Take a look at your diary from the past few days. Has your old habit come back again? You only think about eating every day. Have you forgotten the teachings of your three teachers? Repent!
---
[July 9th, Cloudy]
- Professor Flitwick sent a letter today, saying that there is a wizarding inn in Bournemouth, and that I can travel to London via a magical item called Floo Powder. I decided to go check it out and buy some dessert in Diagon Alley.
---
[July 10th, Cloudy]
- Floo Powder is truly a magnificent creation. Ignatius Wells should be awarded the Order of Merlin for it. Hmm... Let's buy another Oak Strawberry Ice Cream today!
---
[July 11th, Rainy]
- No! I can't buy any more desserts. I need to read well today!
---
[July 12th, Rainy]
- Reading.
---
[July 20th, Rainy]
- I haven't made any records recently because I read a very impressive alchemy paper in Alchemy Classics. I spent a week and still couldn't fully understand it. This article almost made me feel like I saw the shadow of my teachers.
- I am sure that the author of the paper should be a great alchemist, Nicolas Flamel... I think I can look up this name and read something valuable.
---
[August 1st, Rainy]
- Nicholas Flamel's identity is even older than I thought. He was actually a wizard from 700 years ago, not far from the era of the teachers. He also refined the Philosopher's Stone that is said to make people immortal.
- But I don't quite believe it. Mr. Salazar said that immortality is a courageous act of defying death, but it is inevitably accompanied by flaws.
---
[August 2nd, Sunny]
- I discovered a very interesting fact. Nicolas Flamel has almost disappeared since about 400 years ago. Among the people connected with him in this era is Albus Dumbledore, the greatest wizard of our time. It seems they once studied alchemy together.
- I remember this name. He is the current headmaster of Hogwarts... I am starting to get curious.
---
[August 15th, Rainy]
- When I was flipping through books today, I accidentally discovered that there was chaos in the wizarding world twenty years ago, and it was not until eleven years ago that it stabilized.
- The source of the chaos was a dark wizard, known as the "Dark Lord", but in my opinion, his behavior pattern is more like that of a violent madman with a cursed head. It is hard to imagine that he can go very deep on the road of magic.
- The one who defeated and killed him was a child named Harry Potter—I can't understand, no matter what the reason is, can a guy who can be killed by a baby really be called a demon king?
---
[August 30th, Sunny]
- Today is the last day before school starts. I decided to go to Florin's Ice Cream Shop to buy a new dessert as a celebration...
- I'm back, Hogwarts.
