Chapter 3 - Day 2: Tohsaka

"Of all the dumb things, this takes the cake." Tohsaka Rin rubs her head in pure annoyance.

Oh how angry she is right now. Scratch that, she felt apocalyptic.

"Seriously? You don't have any idea I'm the Second Owner of Fuyuki City?!"

"Uhm, yeah?"

Oh how she wanted nothing more than to pummel that clueless head of his. Unfortunately, she can't do that without making Sakura sad and she would be a horrible sister if she did.

If she wasn't already one.

As a Magus, Rin liked her isolation and solitude in Fuyuki City. Despite being a prominent line in the moonlit world, her family is settled in the east which has a very small and very private moonlit world. Perfect for someone like her. Not everything is perfect still as she has the Matou's as her neighbor but the family is on decline and keeps to themselves, leaving Rin to handle her own business.

So imagine her surprise to find Emiya Shirou, her estranged sister's crush (probably), was actually a Magus.

A master in the 5th Holy Grail War.

Did her sister know? Is Sakura getting back at her by hiding Shirou? Or did she teach Shirou the Matou's Magecraft. More importantly…

Is he an enemy?

"Do you even know what is going on, Emiya?" Rin addressed the boy, who is understandably keeping his distance from the girl.

"I actually don't have any idea but Saber gave me the explanation." Shirou rubs his head.

So last night's servant was actually Saber? She lucked out then by summoning Archer.

Shirou then began to relay his general knowledge of the Grail war and his apparent participation.

"By the way, you stop that." Rin suddenly interjects between his explanations.

"Huh? Stop what?"

"That! Whatever you're doing with your prana at your chest, stop that." Rin pointed at his chest. She gave him a disturbed and cautious look. She doesn't know why but Shirou has been doing something weird with his Od since they met in the hallway, she just ignored it. If it was a preparation for an attack, she's confident in her defenses and would counterattack with lethal force if she must.

But they have been talking for a half an hour already and Shirou never gave any signs of aggression. The boy was actually a perfect wallflower against her, her own reputation helping her.

Still, whatever Shirou is doing in his Od, it's definitely weird.

She can feel his own Or leaking from his body as they gather and mix together in a single mass at his heart. It wasn't normal for a Magus to feel another Magus's Of unless the Magus is broadcasting it. Shirou on the other hand is practically boiling in Od.

It's like a pot of Prana bursting to the seams.

"I really don't have any idea what you're talking about, Tohsaka-san." Shirou frowned, having no idea.

But now that she said it, he can actually feel something in his chest. Something warm and pulsing. It's not his heart as this one is much louder and pronounced.

Not to mention, he can smell it.

The smell of something he can't explain.

An otherworldly smell.

"Seriously? Who taught you magecraft?" Unfortunately, Rin was unconvinced. Seeing that he must be clueless of his Od's state, she decided to ignore it for now. He might just be a freak of magecraft like those Einzberns.

"My dad but he died before he finished teaching me." Shirou said with a hint of embarrassment. It's like admitting he didn't graduate kindergarten.

"Sorry." She might be annoyed but she knows when to back off on a sensitive topic when needed.

"Seriously, if this is how bad your education is in the moonlit world, it's a miracle you have been chosen as a master in the Holy Grail War." Shirou can only shrug helplessly at her words.

"Lucky for you, I know someone who can explain the entirety of the Holy Grail War. They're the mediator of the war, a neutral party that keeps the War from spilling in public notice." Shirou perked up upon this.

"So the entire event is actually hidden by a third party?"

"Naturally." Rin rolled her eyes, "With how brutal the past wars are and the amount of damage each war creates, the church has to step up as a neutral party."

"The church? The Christian church?"

"Yes. The church is part of the moonlit world." Rin can understand his surprise. The Christian church influence is not very popular in Japanese soil, the isolationist country being too shy to foreign religion.

"Come on, it's currently afternoon so the Church is probably open. We can pay them a visit." Rin walked towards the rooftop entrance before looking back at Shirou.

"You coming or what?"

"Oh, I'm coming."

He decided to follow Rin. Maybe with this, he can get clear answers and what this war entails for him.

As they began to trek on the road, he wondered…

Is Saber hungry?

Meanwhile….

Saber, sat alone in the living room.

"...hungry." She touched her growling stomach.

But suddenly, the house's entrance opened as a newcomer came in.

"Shirou! I'm here for-Your not Shirou."

"Aah, I'm not." Saber flushed, she got caught.

"..."

"..."

Taiga pulled out her phone.

"Ojii-san! Shirou brought home a woman!"

Just another chaotic day in the Emiya household.

What is a Kamihime?

~ A Kamihime is once mortal women who are experimented on to create an existence close to a God.

Miracle Chalice of Saber?

~ Miracle Chalice is part of Saber's arsenal. It's the Kamihime version of the Holy Grail. In this story, it's an item that can create small miracles. This miracle have a range of effects despite being considered small miracles.

Afterall, miracles are limitless.

Why Saber fought Cu unarmed?

~ She wants to pet that dog. Also because her identity will be very obvious once she brings out her weapon of choice. Unlike Artoria who can make her sword invisible, this Saber can't.
