Deep in the mountains, within an ancient forest and a secluded castle—
"Hmm?!"
Inside a massive coffin, Fujisaki Miyabi slowly opened his eyes just as he was about to begin a short slumber. He sat upright, his gaze cold and sharp.
He had sensed intruders.
Three of them.
Kaneshiro Hokuto, Akua Shuzen, and—one more.
A presence completely unfamiliar, vast and unfathomable, like a boundless ocean.
Then—
"What is this?!"
His expression shifted slightly. Sensing something unnatural closing in, Fujisaki Miyabi instantly unleashed his power, trying to break free from the unseen force that surrounded him.
But the next instant, his surroundings warped—
and the castle vanished.
He now stood beneath a dazzling sea of stars, as if cast into the heart of the cosmos.
Just moments earlier, Arthur, hovering above the castle, had already sensed Fujisaki Miyabi's aura. Without hesitation, he unleashed his domain.
Sovereign's Realm—unfolding across ten thousand meters.
Arthur could freely adjust the radius of his spatial domain:
the smallest being fifty meters, the largest ten thousand.
The strength of the domain did not depend on its size.
And since he didn't intend to let Miyabi escape, Arthur chose the maximum range.
Once the domain expanded—
Outside the castle, Kaneshiro Hokuto suddenly found himself plummeting in freefall. His expression shifted drastically; he erupted with yokai energy, crashing violently into the ground below.
Boom!
The impact left a massive crater.
"Where'd they go?!"
Climbing out of the pit, Hokuto frowned, his gaze flickering with unease.
After just three seconds of hesitation, he made his decision.
He turned and bolted at full speed—
not daring to look back.
The world was vast, but life was precious.
When gods and monsters fought, mortals had no place in the crossfire.
Escape was the wisest choice.
Meanwhile, within the Sovereign's Realm—
Arthur sat leisurely upon his Golden Throne, suspended high in the air.
Akua Shuzen stood gracefully at his right side, golden ripples spreading beneath her feet as though she were standing on water.
Dozens of meters away, on what passed for "ground" within the domain, stood Fujisaki Miyabi.
He looked up, composed yet wary, eyes flicking between the two.
In a flash, he moved—appearing ten meters before them.
His gaze lingered briefly on Akua Shuzen before settling on Arthur.
With a faint, courteous smile, he said,
"So, it was you—the unknown powerhouse who destroyed my clone."
"That's right," Arthur replied calmly.
Sitting with his legs crossed and his chin resting on one hand, he nodded lightly, lips curling with quiet confidence.
"And what is your purpose?" Miyabi asked.
The two men locked eyes—both smiling, neither rushing to strike.
Arthur's answer was simple.
"To kill you."
"Kill me?" Miyabi arched an eyebrow, still smiling. "Why?"
"Because your intentions offend me."
"…"
For a moment, Miyabi was taken aback by the absurd simplicity of the reply. His gaze flickered.
Then Arthur turned toward Akua Shuzen.
"Ya'ai, do you have anything you'd like to say?"
"...No."
Akua Shuzen hesitated, glancing between Arthur and Fujisaki Miyabi before shaking her head.
Though Miyabi was technically her grandfather, she felt nothing for him beyond the faint tug of shared blood.
If not for Arthur, she wouldn't even have known that Fujisaki Miyabi was in fact a split incarnation of Alucard, her supposed "sealed" grandfather.
She had once wanted to free him—
but that was more about seeking her own evolution into a True Ancestor than filial affection.
Now, she had no need for him at all.
She was Arthur's familiar—his alone.
Miyabi gave her a sidelong glance, then dismissed her entirely.
Blood relation meant nothing if she stood in the way of his ambitions.
Seeing that Ya'ai had nothing to say, Arthur looked back at Miyabi and smiled faintly.
"Enough small talk," he said.
"Your clone last time was a disappointment. I hope this time, you can at least put up enough of a fight to make it entertaining."
The moment his words fell—
A golden flash burst behind him.
The Golden Armored General, formed from the Swords of Damocles, materialized before Miyabi and immediately drove a fist forward.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The air cracked and exploded with every punch.
Miyabi's eyes turned cold.
Gathering vast yokai energy into his right arm, he met the blow head-on—
without an ounce of hesitation.
Rage flickered in his heart.
He, the first True Ancestor of the Yokai Realm, its supreme sovereign,
once a king—
—and yet this human sat above him,
watching as though he were a circus monkey.
It was unbearable.
Even an elephant might ignore an ant's provocation—
but Arthur was no ant.
Such blatant condescension was an insult he could not tolerate.
BOOM!!!
Their fists collided—one massive, one small.
Light flared like a supernova.
The resulting shockwave roared out like a hurricane of unimaginable force, tearing through the domain.
The Golden General's body shuddered, stepping back half a pace.
Miyabi stood unmoved, solid as a mountain.
Arthur raised an eyebrow, his grin widening.
"Good. That's more like it. This is the level worthy of an Alucard incarnation."
Just now, the Golden General had used barely a third of its power.
With a single thought, Arthur commanded another strike—
this time, nearly full strength.
"?!"
Feeling the overwhelming pressure, Miyabi's pupils contracted.
That thing's strength…
was close to his own at full power!
This time, instead of clashing head-on, he vanished—
reappearing right before Arthur, claws reaching for his throat.
"Watch out!"
Akua Shuzen gasped, worry flashing in her eyes.
After all, her grandfather's battle feats were legendary.
But Arthur didn't flinch.
A faint gleam flashed across his eyes.
Spatial Shift.
In an instant, Miyabi disappeared—
reappearing directly in front of the Golden General instead.
BAM!
The General's massive fist connected squarely with his chest.
Miyabi shot backward like a comet,
a mist of blood scattering through the air.
He flew over a thousand meters before stopping—
his chest a gaping void, his organs obliterated.
And yet, he didn't die.
Scarlet yokai energy surged, writhing flesh knitting itself back together at visible speed.
This was the immortality of a True Ancestor.
Even though this body held only a fraction of his true power,
His vitality was monstrous.
Assessing the situation, Miyabi's face darkened.
Without hesitation, he unleashed his trump card.
From deep within him erupted a forbidden power,
forged by devouring countless yokai in secret.
Tendrils of black mist seeped from his body,
coiling and twisting like living smoke.
"Oh?"
Arthur raised an eyebrow, intrigued.
"This looks interesting," he murmured.
"But only a little."
Since Miyabi had chosen to reveal his hidden reserves, Arthur decided not to interrupt—
watching with mild amusement as the vampire powered up.
Fortunately, he didn't make Arthur wait long.
In just three seconds, the transformation was complete.
